your microphone does the best job of picking the drumming up. I can't hear it on most videos. Also your use of the wingbone is legit. I have made and fooled with them for 25 years and I don't sound half as good as you do. Congrats on a super bird, those hooks are legendary.
Awesome footage when the tom was up in the tree! Once again nice decision to not sling a desperation shot. To me, the hunt is all about getting the show which you certainly did!!!! Thanks for bringing me along.
Catman , Don't change a Thing ! The kill shot doesn't Matter with the all Great Turkey Vocalitions !! I see you dont answer to many comments, but if you see this can you show how you are running the Wingbone caller , mouth position and hand position on end of call when you cut and yelp ! Thanks ! Stay Safe & Healthy ! God Bless ! Keep the Great Videos Coming !
I can’t really explain exactly how to run the call the way I do, you just have to play around with it until you can get the right sounds out. Cupping your hands will change it quite a bit too.
Bone marrow used to be a commodity and I would imagine Indians found out by sucking the marrow out of a wingbone. Then they probably taught white settlers that it makes a hen sounding noise
Wingbones are hard to master but seem to offer something more for call savvy Toms. I carry a copy made from your instructions. Your calling is greatly improved. I’m not in your league. At 75, I pulled two LB’s across an “off campus” burn onto my lease and bore. Homemade wingbone earned another notch.

I'm 37. When i was 6, my dad showed me how to make a wing bone call. He used it a few times it never worked for him, lol.
It is like a musical instrument. You have to practice. It took me a few years to feel comfortable using mine. That is just about all I use now.
You make it look easy.
Welcome to Cat-man-do!!!

I guess you always have to be ready. Great redemption, though.
