Anybody else feel a big ol lump in their throat?? This may go down as the greatest hunting related story ever told. Im honored to have met both of these men in the past.
This will go down as the greatest hunting documentary ever. Not only told by all 100% Turkey hunters, but a family that love eachother as much as they do the wild Turkey. These guys are stand up and one of a kind, great people and an amazing company. Love mossy oak, and everything they stand for!
If that doesn’t put a chill to your skin and a tear to your eye, your wood is wet. Proud of my Mossy Oak family for making such a tribute to two of the finest gentleman of the turkey woods.
This is without a doubt the greatest story ever told of the meaning of Hunting!!! These great men exemplify the meaning of conservation through utilization! I’m so proud and so honored to be part of team Mossy Oak!!! My Daughter, Aria killed her first 2 gobblers while wearing a Mr Fox shirt on the day his vest was released at the mossy oak store!!!! Turkey hunting just became so much more important to me!!!
We have our hands full and our work cut out to pass on this amazing legacy, do we not!! Your passion is an inspiration to thousands of us! Keep up the good work!
This, in my opinion should go down as turkey hunting’s greatest documentaries. The work Colonel Kelly, Mr. Fox, and the Mossy Oak family do for the wild turkey and turkey hunting is the greatest of all time.
The absolute best outdoors documentary bar none! I’m not really a turkey hunter, cause my dad never hunted them and I’ve never really had people/friends that did much! Been wanting to get into it and after watching this I want to more. 42yrs old and I ain’t ever killed one. Time to make it happen.
This is will be something I show to my children and my children’s children. Thanks Colonel Kelly, and Mr. Haas for everything. Us, as the next generation of turkey hunters, are forever in your debt.
I've always agreed with Benjamin Franklin whom said, the Wild Turkey should be our National Bird. He carries the colors and tells a story of America. Thank you Gentlemen for laying the path for us to follow.
This has reminded me of all those old feelings of when I started turkey hunting in 1990. What a walk down memory lane. Mossy Oak has been a part of my life from the first day I stepped on the MSU campus in 1987. Thank you for making this documentary and reminding me what true Turkey Hunting is, respect for the animal and the people who helped them make a comeback. I hate the current turkey hunting culture of “busted beaks and can’t stop the flop, fanning fools “. Great work Mossy Oak.
Frankly I got choked up more than once watching this. This video reminded me of my grandfather and his love of Turkey hunting. he hunted with the goergia greats like Charlie Elliot. We need never forget these great men who gave us so much.
Tears…actual tears. @mossyoak I’m truly at a loss for words. This documentary will forever be one of the greatest tributes to our great sport and even more amazing pioneers for the wild turkey. WELL DONE!!!!!
*I don't know if this will reach anyone's heart, or minds, but I hope you all watch this video with open hearts and realize just how blessed and fortunate we are today to see, let alone hunt the wild turkey. This is a great parallel I believe to what Jesus has done for all of us in this life. We were on the brink of extinction, just like the wild turkey was on the brink of being no more, Jesus found us and rescued us and brought us life anew. I'm blessed to say that I've been given 23 years of chasing thunder in the Spring woods, along with my father, and Lord willing, this will be our 24th year together. To all my fellow turkey hunters and all of those who are outdoor enthusiasts, I wish you an amazing Spring and may God continue to bless you and your families!*
This told more than just about the "Turkey". It spoke of the greatest generation and reminds me of my dad, who was a lifelong turkey hunter after WWII. He made his own mouth calls using bottle caps and prophylactic material and whittled box calls out of fat lighter. I still have these items, they are priceless to me. Thank you for producing this film, not going to lie I had a tear in my eye more than once.
Man there are reasons I and so many others chose Mossy Oak camo over all the others. Conservation. Love of creation, and family values. God bless the good people at Mossy Oak.
Been in the woods all my life. Shot my first duck at 5, Shot my first buck at 13, killed my first turkey at 16. After watching this I have never felt so honored to be able to do what I do. These pioneers pulled off the greatest success story of any animal conservation in our nations history. These men are gonna make my turkey hunting this Saturday feel like more of a privilege than ever before. Thank you men, us hunters will make sure your story never dies.
At 31 years young I have little ground to stand. I can however attest to and feel the impact of what these fellas and all others have done for the conservation of the bird we all love. An addiction that seeps far deeper than the skin or brain and goes straight to the soul. For years to come, I pray it continues on.
Absolutely INCREDIBLE!!!!! Growing up, I remember making a copper Mossy Oak logo in my science class… I loved hunting and everything involved with hunting. Mossy Oak was a staple in my childhood. I even shot my first turkey wearing (drowning) in a pair of my dad’s Mossy Oak overalls! Little did I know the actual story behind the camouflage or what it would directly mean to me later in life. Fast forward to now - my husband and I have created an amazing relationship with the team at Mossy Oak… It’s not only about the camouflage and memories I had when I was young, it’s also about the genuine pride and the legacy that drives them to continue doing what they love! To be that great at something, yet still stay humble and continue to strive to be better (even after success) is admirable and the sole reason we are partnered with Mossy Oak and will always stand behind them! Great job Mossy Oak, this video was worth the wait!!! 💯👏🏻
Phenomenal story!!! Entering my 38th season, this story brought a tear to my eye. These pioneers are the reason why I am who I am today,,, A Turkey Hunter. I just want to say Thank You!!!

Iv hunted turkeys 42 yrs, met Mr Fox read the 10th Legion helped with re stocking of turkeys and met alot of good people and now as I get older see just how impactful these 2 men have been in giving us the opportunity to enjoy the best past time a hunter can ever experience. Who would have thought that two elder statesmen and their life’s work could draw the depth of emotion out of our hearts. Fantastic job and congratulations to the Haas family, Mossy Oak, the members of the Tenth Legion and the culture that the Haas family has curated. Well done good and faithful servant.
Tear jerker for sure. Thank goodness for unselfish men who sacrificed for generations to come! They deserved all the blessings they got and continue to have! #mossyoakrocks

I barely knew these two giants, and now they feel like family. That’s the amazing power of a well produced documentary. Very thankful for this! Came in from a morning hunt with my son (12) and watched it. Both making sure not to make eye contact so no one could see our eyes leaking. A memory in itself. Perfect. God bless!
On the eve of NC youth season and seeing my daughters excitement of her last year hunting youth it becomes clear to me that turkey season is so special that men I do not know at all, feel the same as I do. Everyone stay safe this season and good luck
What an absolute amazing and memorable documentary that me and my turkey hunting family will never forget. The mossy oak family reminds me so much of mine. God bless the wild turkey and the people of saved them for future generations to enjoy!

I’ve watched it twice now and I’m still speechless. The most impactful, well written, concise and reaching documentaries I’ve ever watched. I’m no crazy hunter, so this is especially moving to me. Few will ever understand it, but the ones that do will cherish it forever. Long live the wild turkey
No way you can explain it to anyone but turkey hunters. I've tried and they all look at me like I'm a fool. I've been hunting for 30yrs.
