I have a 2012 Cts v coupe a Corsa axle back exhaust and no other mods. I did 12s at Englishtown right before they close on street tires. Then I took up to whiskey hill racetrack. I had to have a pro join me to teach me all the turns and hill. This Pro drove a lap, on the stock Michelins, he was quite impressed. He commented how well it did coming out of the hairpin and going up the hill. That's where LSA had the biggest advantage over the turbo six of the BMW M3s. And I was up their butts on the straightaway at over 120mph. The Brembos never faded and could put you through the windshield. And even at 4200 lbs. I was very confident attacking all the turns. Magnetic shocks and stock pilot sport tires stuck like glue. The pro was very impressed. And I'm a novice. Bmw's ,Camaros, mustangs, vettes, Nissan it's all got gapped by this old man in the Cadillac. 😎🇺🇸
As long as you don't turn the car off when you give it back to him, the car can go any distance without the fob as long as you don't turn it off and try to restrart it. Pretty much all of these cars with fobs work like that.
Exactly. Just to add to that: Its a safety concern. If your car loses connection to your fob unintentionally and just turn off while youre driving... well, you can figure out that wouldnt be the greatest experience. So if your battery runs out for example and you get stranded in the middle of the highway or just turn off engine at 90mph, not a great thing to happen.
Not only do I praise GM for making this car in general but I love them for offering it in a wagon (and a manual)! Love my V. Great review.
look im not doubter on the LS platform but how much can these CTS-V can push on stock block Ive seen 700whp CTS-V run 10.3sec in the drag strip. the CTS-V that run that time was on stock on the block so Im just really like curious
Love em. Would probably have one myself if not for my destabilized inner bank account.
what makes newer LSs sound so much better/refined than on OG LS1?
Older fbodys have a y-pipe. Most later LS's have crossover duals
@@xjmg007 guess im goin true duals lol
Went from an 02 M6 SS with headers and 3" Y to a 02 C5Z with 3" duals and x-pipe.. night and day
Nice review on the CTS V! Where did your buddy Zach go to get work done on his "V"?
Nooooice, notice me David.
Ayyyyeee🙏🙏
I have a 2014 coupe and I love it but be aware, if you buy one of these they are not cheap to maintain. expect to pay to keep it in fighting trim. But if you can afford it it is absolutely worth it! By the way, Cadillac has DISCONTINUED the CTS-V... or so I have read. A BIG mistake!
I wonder what exhaust is he running dounds awesome
What size are the Welds and the tires on the back?
I want that mesh grille on my old man car CTS but it's $800
