Bad ass! About to order up the Simplicity 320 DC Co2 Attachment! I'm having a hard time finding a C02 scrubber that uses 1/2 barb though. My skimmer tubing is 1/2 but all the scrubbers I'm seeing online use 3/8 tubing/barb head. I could add a barb attachment worst case scenario. What scrubber are you using that comes with 1/2 barbhead?
I would suggest noting that if using a recirculating CO2 scrubber people should have a method of turning off their skimmer if/when the cup gets full so that the scrubber doesn't suck in water.
It would be like dumping kalk into the sump plus whatever chemicals they use for color change.
I have a reef octopus regal that has a float switch shut off, I would never run a recirc without some method of overflow prevention.
I’ve watched your videos for years, which have helped me exponentially in this hobby, and have noticed your efforts in making these videos “family friendly”. I don’t understand the reason for the continued demonetization, but keep at it.

After using the recirculating method how long does the media last
Depends on a lot of factors. What’s the ambient co2 in your home? How many folks live there? How big is your tank? My ambient co2 is about 450-600ppm, I live in about 1600 square feet of condo. I have a 100 gallon tank with just SPS. 3lbs of media lasts me 4-6 months. 1.5lbs goes into my container and lasts 2-3 months. In a non recirculating setup I’m lucky if that lasts 3 weeks.
I have a question in which program you design your models, you use a pc or an ipad

Ok some info for notifications on TH-cam. I caught a swarm of honeybees and was watching bee keepers videos. And all the reef aquarium channels I had subscribed to failed to send notifications of new videos.
My pH has always been kinda low. I need to look into this scrubber.

What about a taller 3D print rim attachment to add an overflow port lower than the port you added for CO2 scrubber that you can add a tube onto and direct the overflow to your sump. Don't want overflow going to scrubber
I was gonna try the co2 reactor but didnt want to buy icecap reactor like 160$ i said i could use the brs double carbon n gfo reactor then i was like thats way to big and bulky so i said howbout a phosban reactor was looking through reviews and i seen fohexs reviews cliked on video and seen u using the phosban too i am like yea fish o hex know whats up lol

Can you do this recirculating set up on a curve elite 5? I only have one intake nipple on my air silencer. Or do I need to add a “Y” fitting to still pull fresh air
