A lot of trans channels on this site have unfortunately seen a rise of transphobic comments and harassment lately. It's really terrifying how much transphobia has been escalating these past few years.
It is scary to me how much time they spend watching and commenting on things they obviously do not like and have pre-determined this with nonfactual information. I mean, I barely have time for the things I love to do, let alone trolling peeps I have already decided I do not like with no real logical reasoning.
The people who post hate comments are even more pathetic than that. To inflate their numbers, there will often be one person with hundreds of sockpuppet accounts, and they'll upvote and respond encouragingly to their own comments. This has been going on all over social media.
My other channel I had was deleted because of youtube not liking my top surgery progress videos. I wanted to keep it up just for informational purposes, but I also got sick of the misinformed people on there as well. (I finally turned off the comments, but then got the axe from YT)

As far as I know some east asian laguanges are written top to bottom and then right to left... heaven for a lefthanded person. With latin script it's so annoying - but you probably feel me, as a right handed person writing right to left. I don't even use pens with regular ink anymore. Also arabic script looks like art to me - but that might also be because I can't read nor understand anything. Same. Before my PCOS got diagnosed and I started on BC, I was bleeding for months and just hoping it would stop. Then even after I started on BC, I'd have horrifically heavy periods and thought I just needed to accept them as a fixture of life until I finally started on a new version that finally made my life normal again. My mom had no such luck and, after a lifetime of terrible PMS, started bleeding constantly until she got her uterus cauterized. People really have no idea.

As a cis woman who couldn't go to school because I was basically hemorrhaging, up to 20 days a month, and couldn't stand because the pain from my cramps was so intense, like literally shooting down from my abdomen into my legs and numbing them, to the point I needed help getting around, I completely understand not having the time for periods. Also, I'd like to say that people who decide periods "aren't that bad", because THEY didn't experience bad periods make me want to scream 😠...... Sorry for the rant, that "can't be bothered with normal bodily function" comment really annoyed me.

Honestly, I don't even get periods all that bad. A lot of blood, sure, and that one time I bled for a month, but nothing too crazy I would think. Even then I'd still have to say periods suck ass because really I don't know a single person who would want to bleed for weeks on end lol. Plus cramps hurt.

I had similarly bad periods and haven't had to deal with them in years because my periods stopped when I got my first IUD. I always get weird looks from doctors when I say my last period was in 2015. 😂
Periods are very uncomfortable, sometimes unbearable, and they cost a fortune in feminine hygiene products. There's no reason people should suffer through them if they have the simple option not to.
the comment about it being unrealistic that noah bled for two months straight really pissed me off. once i missed one (ONE) of my birth control pills (which was just estrogen, not progesterone) and bled for three weeks. there are a variety of reasons that things like that can happen. it’s not uncommon or unrealistic at all.
Man, I feel so validated after you talked about the fact that after watching videos of trans influencers talking about their transition experience, it actually made you feel scared/dread the transition process, cuz that’s kinda the same boat I’m in. As someone who’s really afraid of surgery and messing with my body’s hormones, it’s makes transitioning seem scary, even though I know transitioning would make me feel more in line with my gender.

Maybe you should try socially transitioning? You don't have to have surgery at all to be trans, you're totally valid. You could try a wig on before getting a haircut/growing out your hair to see if you like it, and then getting the one you like!
And it's totally okay if you don't want to continue further. Many trans people don't want surgery, and there's no rush to get it done. You can talk to a LGBTQ therapist as well to find out if you really want those!

For me personally, I feel like I can only live a happy live if I have a deep voice, a flat chest and male genitals but because I’m scared of something (hormone treatment or surgery) going wrong or not the way I expect it to go, I don’t know if I even want to transition. I think I make it more complicated than it is, but I’m just too scared of everything that’s not natural. Anything could go wrong and until I know that it will all be safe and without complications, I don’t think I can do it :(

As much as I do this myself, this is 100% ammunition for transphobia, and it will be taken out of context.
I did not realize I was trans until considerably later in life. To give you an idea, I was twice Noah's age at the time. That doesn't make me any less trans. Everyone learns and grows at their own pace, and the information and tools to figure it out simply weren't available when I was growing up. You're ready when you're ready, and your experiences are no less valid regardless of how long it takes to get there.
I want merch that says “as far as I’m aware, I haven’t been castrated” because that is such a raw, powerful line.

I had the same problem with the depo shot! I'm 46, identify as genderqueer & pansexual, though my longest relationships have been with men, primarily because I grew up in a time when the worst insult teens could come up with was to call you lesbian or gay! It took a lot of years & inner reflection to come to terms & recognize some of it. So yes I can pass as a straight, cis female, but why should I, when that is not my truth? I have my teenager to thank for helping me to open my mind & through their journey, learn more about the trans community, only to realize that that I wasn't alone in the way I felt as a kid! LOL we think we are teaching our kids, when if we are open minded enough, they can teach us just as much!

Yes, the numbers have indeed skyrocketed, but think about the example Noah used in the video. Left-handedness used to be very rare, and then it, just like the amount of people identifying as trans, skyrocketed. You have absolutely no reason to believe that doesn't apply here, other than confirmation bias.
@@HyperNovva the reason the number has skyrocketed is because of social contagion. It has become a trend. Not for every trans person of course, but for a lot of people, especially young women. Why aren’t more young men identifying as women at the rate that women are identifying as men?
Puberty blockers cause harm. It can cause less developed genital tissues and lesson bone mass and density. Pausing healthy puberty is never a good thing. We don’t even for sure know the negative side effects this will cause in the future. These poor children are merely lab rats

my mom is a cis woman and on no pills or hormones or anything like that and her periods are irregular. she won’t get her period for a long time and then when she gets it, it can last weeks to months. she’s had checkups with the doctor and stuff and she’s healthy, it’s just kinda a wacky way her body works.
In all honesty, knowing you were Trans from a very young age is super valid - My Nephew knew he was gay from a young age as my Sister properly educated him when he began to question himself. For me, the signs were there - When I hit puberty, I wanted my tiddies gone straight away. I didn't understand why, but they felt wrong. I had set my mind on getting breast reduction surgery YEARS before I even knew what being Transgender was.. If somebody had taken the time to see the signs, sat me down and asked me some questions, I could have skipped questioning who I am for years lol, would have saved me a lot of pain. Discovering your identity from a young age is just as valid as figuring things out later in life, for some it simply takes time. And that's ok!
I was Transphobic until recently, I suppose I'm working on it but I'm proof that not only can you change, people will forgive you. And I wasn't so much "Trans people should burn" as "Trans-people don't exist, they're just confused".

same here. it's not so much recently, but around 1-1.5 years ago that I stated to work on myself. I had fallen into the far right side of the internet as a result of some personal problems that I had experienced, and I was completely influenced by it. as soon as I stopped having said personal problems, I essentially regained my critical thinking and deduced that if someone isn't hurting anyone else, who are we to tell them what to do? I absolutely agree with the "load of rocks falling off my back" part, as it also allowed me to realize more about myself. unfortunately, I was incredibly disrespectful to a student at my school who used a name other than their assigned one, and I still haven't apologized because I fear that they won't accept the apology.
TLDR: I used to deadname people and intentionally use pronouns that they didn't identify with. I have since become a better human.

I just got to the part of your video about being called a liar for bleeding for 2 months. I'm Agenderfluid AFAB. I had to go to a doctor and go on meds because I started bleeding heavily for 5 months nearly 6 months without stopping. My mom had periods that lasted months without stopping and she wouldn't go to a doctor. She ended up in the hospital and nearly died and needed 2 blood transfusions. People who think bleeding this long is 'impossible' really need to do some research. Just because it isn't normal or common, doesn't mean it's non-existent.

The person about the period thing is that people have had irregular periods that last much longer than a week. My sister had irregular ones where it wouldn't appear for a month or two and then appeared for longer than a week. Not everyone has the same damn cycle. Also, that last comment was comedy gold.
