You can also add the oil to the seasoning mixture to make a blend then just rub the fish with the seasoning mixture. It's going to be delish either way
Thank you Claudy for sharing! I made a whole red snapper for the first time using your recipe & cooking directions exactly as you said, absolutely fabulous! My fiance went nuts for the seasoning & the taste of the fish. The only thing I wish I did was buy a larger red snapper for leftovers because there was nothing left! Thank you again & I love how you show step by step & the measurements for all the spices, great job explaining 👏 👍 😀
Wow.. another great feedback... Thanks dear. Happy u loved it
This recipe is the TRUTH! My family loved it and I did make mines with the red snapper. I will use this recipe from now on. Thank you for sharing
Thanks so much for the feedback. I appreciate it and glad you did enjoy it
Definitely going to try this one
Thank you very much. Recipes like this make magnificent meals possible for the not-so-daring in the kitchen: All easy to find ingredients, fresh or frozen, easy to make and easy to clean, and fabulous flavour.
Thank you for this mama!!! Sooo delicious!!
Wow looks great. Gotta try that.
Looks amazing
Awesome. I will try.
Never thought I'd be able to do this. I tried first time last night because of your easy step by step video. I bought Tilapia for this and the ingredients you mentioned. I added diced habanaro peppers (rodo), I used butter instead of oil. If I say I tasted heaven last night I wouldn't be exaggerating 💙 You made this possible. And yes I have left overs I will dig into later today 😂 Thanks again you're heaven sent and a blessing 🙏
Wow this comment is just as heavenly like your yummy fish. Thanks for the feedback. It means alot to me
@@CookingWithClaudy what temp do you bake your red snapper on?
@@dgsuton1 She said 400 degrees.

Claudy. Thanks ever so much for this video! I’m sending it to someone who asked me how to make Red Snapper. It’s the best way to prepare it. The only thing I did diferent was to squeeze fresh lemon on it before baking, but your seasoning is very tasty!
Perfect. Thanks so much for the feedback

At what temperature and for how minutes it has to be baked?
Just subscribed
Claude, how do you bake your fish in the oven without it sticking & falling apart
I used olive oil Like to said to the potatoes, bell pepper, onion & tomato came out
Perfect??🤗
I typed C L A U D Y, but it put Claude.
No worries. To avoid sticking, grease the baking surface or easy method, put fish ontop of lemon slices like how i did in this video th-cam.com/video/8FZzElsNGGk/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for your feedback. Hope this helps
I definitely want to try it but I want to know if the outside is crispy cause my fam is a fan of deep fry crispy fish
Yes its crispy...
@@CookingWithClaudy thank you so much it looks deliciously breath taking
Hello I just subscribed and will make this for my wife. Could you please tell me if I need to use olive oil? And also how many degrees ? We don’t use Fahrenheit
I used olive oil.. 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Do we use the top broil grill also?
Yes please
My wife not very good with spicy, any suggestions for an alternative ingredient for the Cajun spice ?
Cajun isn't spicy. You can go for it. Or use Old Bay Seasoning
Darn! I was rushing and did not watch until the end, so I tossed the potatoes in the pan and put the fish on top! At least i nuked them from 3 mins first. Oh well, we will see how it all turned out. Also I had a hard time cutting the fish with my dull knives. Marinate for an hour! Ha!
Looks delicious 😋 What kind of oil are you using?
Canola oil
@@CookingWithClaudy thank you
Nice. Where do you purchase your fish? Gonna try it tonight
I went to a seafood market.
only little salt, little red chilli power, and little turmeric mixed it well and grill/oven bake/ fry it and enjoy
Do we preheat the oven before baking the fish??P.S ... Im new to baking
Yes you can preheat
Did you put foil on it the first time you put it in?
Oh no. Bake open through out
Caaaaaajuuuun
😄
Look I don’t care what anybody say’s we love you this way red snapper all day
Thank you for your support. I do really appreciate. 💘
Is that butter you use on the fish?
No. Its just cooking oil( Canola oil)
Thank you! Mines didn’t come out as pretty the bottom of the fish was sticking and the fish was destroyed sad😢
Don't have Cajun seasoning, can replace with other seasoning. Is even better if you have the recipe for Cajun seasoning. Thank you.
Ok I cut the head off couldn't take eyes i know ...so can I still cook the same
Omg. This looks too good. One needs to be careful when eating to pull out the small bones.
Oh yes definitely
Why do you make slits on the fish?
It’s for aesthetics but mostly so the seasoning can get INTO the fish since the skin is no longer a barrier.
You cut off the Tail and Fins. Those are the Crispy (potato chips)
you should not use aluminum foil
Why not? Curious as to why not?
causes ALhzaimer @@damiensmith8774
Where's the gravy?
but it is not five mins.
How long did it take you to cook?
Good video to long. Ten minutes is to long!
Video should have only took 4 mins 🤦🏽♂️
