What a Good Mommy, So Protective!! Idk, Where this was taking at but I wonder, If they have a river they can get into or bigger mud baths? Their favorite thing is water & mud & that's not a very big area. Poor things!! 😢 🐘Also, for the life of me, I cannot & Never do I want to meet, unless it's to put them in Jail immediately, Anyone at all that could ever hurt such a docile, vegetarian, intelligent, peaceful & truly lovable animal, such as the Elephants!!! They're More Loving & Protective to their own Family than some Families that I know, including mine. That's saying, A Lot for the Animal Kingdom in Creation!! 💟 🐘 🌿 🐘 💗 🐘 🌿 🐘 💟
This was at Mashatu Camp in Botswana. It is currently very dry there. The rainy season used to start in August/September. Nowadays it starts late November/early December. There are a few water holes, but they are few and far between.
I would like to know if this baby has been doing well. Due to climate crisis, there are so many wild animals starving to death . Could you please give us update on them?

It's good to see how mom discipline her calf strictly and carefully, because mud bath is one of the most dangerous for calves even big ones could fall into a trap that no one could help or trapped together, then just struggling till exhausted and wait for some predators come to try and play with them, or last thing just dried and dehydrated there wouldn't always be human to help them any time just like we watch on videos' trusts.

Where was this? Where is the rest of the herd? Mum looks a bit skinny.
This was at Mashatu Camp in Botswana. The rest of the herd is around, but after a new birth, the mother stays away from them for a while.
