- We’ve all had those days when getting up in the morning is a real struggle…. when simply standing up seems like just too much effort…
Baby elephants know that feeling well…getting up from a siesta in the shade can be a very tricky business, especially when you still don’t have control over rubbery legs and a trunk that just won’t do as it’s told!
and I love that when baby gets up, storms off like it was no big deal!

Given most/all of them are on the endangered species list it most certainly does not work like that.
@@mnomadvfx Elephant numbers have been stable for over 10 years at 400.000 population however in that time the same number have been killed for tusks. This is still a problem because there genetics are being weakend because the strongest get shot first leaving weaker members to reproduce. This can be seen in there tusks, 30 years ago Elephant tusks where long, symmetrical but now there either gone, mishaped or misaligned.

This was so sweet. The mother stayed by his side. She didn’t rush him she patiently let him figure it out. It took him so long to get off but when he did he just walked off. Message for us all… it may be hard to get started or get where we want to but if we keep trying and never give up we will get success and it will be on and popping

Precious little baby!
Baby is only learning it's 'baby movements' to stand on its own(very important development, even right after birth. It's one of a very necessary survival skill!) as each individual baby would at its own pace n ability. It is a strong baby with all its 'mums' waiting patiently for/at the baby's own individually development. Don't worry! It is neither cruel nor abnormal. It is a healthy sight.
