I love all the home free songs, but if you want to hear Tim's awesome bass, try him with Peter Hollins singing "Misty Mountain".

Home Free is amazing. They do all genres of music, and are great in everyone. Check out their version of the O' Jays, Love Train, or When A Man Loves A Woman. They're all great. Nice job.
Man of constant sorrow was written in 1917. It's an iconic folk song that fans have taken seriously. It hasn't been covered often because of its vocal difficulty. Country and Folk music fans have been pretty critical of performers botching such a beloved song. The soggy bottom boys version was the best received since Bob Dylan's version. Home free blows both out of the water.
Home free Acapella for a second listen? My suggestion is their version of an old Motown classic. When a man loves a woman. Prepare to be fan girling

The song is very old and is a traditional American folk song first published by Dick Burnett, a partially blind fiddler from Kentucky. The song was originally titled "Farewell Song" in a songbook by Burnett dated to around 1913. What is amazing about this version by Home Free | Man of Constant Sorrow is that it is acapella and the musical sounds of the drums, Jew's harp, mouth harp (harmonica) and beat box are all done by two singers in the band. Watch for them.
The mechanical sound is a Jew harp sound and he's doing it by a method called throat singing you should check out End the Road or Die A Happy Man

Micheal Winslow. I just recently seen him audition on AGT. He left the film industry after he became a widower and had to raise his kids.
The first soloist (Austin Brown) does a harmonica duet with Adam Rupp (beat boxer) on their live performances of this. These guys are fantastic!
'Ring of Fire' should be your next review of Home Free. Deep Bass and all of these guys are lead singers.

One of their better covers is A John Mayer song "In the Blood". Another one with wonderful sound combined with wonderful scenery is "How great thou art". Since you are branching out you might sample another acapella group called Voice Play. They do a cover medley of "Moana" and "Little Mermaid". Voice play is very theatrical.

That mechanical sound is the sound of an ozark harp and I'll tell ya he's spot on, all us country folks love that sound, you hear it played alot in bluegrass music, I love this group and your reaction, so I'll have to subscribe

Austin, man wearing Gator skin hat does a cover of "When a man loves woman". What makes it very special is that his lady sitting in front of him serenading to her while on set.
The way he plays the harmonica is with his nose. Just hum the notes with your mouth shut and your hand in the same place. You'll start imitating him and you end up getting the technique to hmm hnmmmmm hmmm hm ❤️

Home Free is a wonderful "rabbit hole" to get into. They have a vast catalog of songs, from Country, to covers of Boyz to Men and everything in between. They can bring you to tears, or make you laugh your ass off. Yes, they are a special group of Gents. They are technically exceptional, and yet they don't take themselves to seriously either. An amazing Home Free video is their cover of U2's Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For, they gathered around 300 people all online to sing with that and some wizard was able to mix all those separate tracks and it sounds brilliant
