He has stage fright which is why he took so long. Morgane had to be on stage to make him comfortable she talked him into performing
Chris is the "gateway" drug to country.

This is his most popular song and its really good, but "Chris Stapleton - Sometimes I Cry live @ the (Bing Lounge) is my fav. This version is cool because he introduces his band singing, but to me in this situation it sort of is a spoiler to the song because he sings the introductions in the same key he sings the song.. lol

I love watching you so so so much your so much fun and down to earth. Yes Boones strawberry hill was my intro to alcohol as a teenager you are correct. Yes Chris Stapleton is a one of a kind singer. I have watched 100’s of these reactions for this song and have not seen one person say a bad thing.
He has some incredible songs ffor his voice but one of the most incredible covers that I have ever heard was his of "This is a man's world "that he did a little while ago. Oh my God it is a most listen version. As a life long metal lover there is no possible way that anyone can deny Chris's awesome vocal abilities.

It's more about the song than the genre for me. That's I call myself a Headbanger not just a Metalhead. The only music I can't stand is EDM/techno, random electronic sounds usually trigger my sensory issues.
Devil Always Made Me Think Twice is a must for any metal fan that likes Stapleton. I grew up like you 🤘🏻metal all the way till I grew up and started playing an instrument and started to get into all kinds of other stuff I’m now a huge country fan and have been for decades.
