    I drowned when I was fairly young (obviously not to the point of ending up properly dead). I don't remember much of it clearly but I'll attempt to recall what I can.
    I remember choking on the water and then breathing it in when I couldn't hold my breath any longer, this enormous feeling of pressure and weight on my chest and this sort of uniquely intense pain; it was like being able to feel the entirety of my lungs for the first time because every inch stung like you wouldn't believe, but it was also cold because of the water's temperature.
    There's a point just before that where you just go into a frenzy trying to fight it and somehow get yourself out of the situation. After that, once you get into the point where you aren't able to fight what's happening there was this overwhelming feeling of panic - in hindsight it probably lasted only about 15 seconds but I swear it felt like about 5 minutes while my lungs were filling with water and I was just freaking the fuck out. There's a weird point where that panic just immediately drops off, it's as if you're in a boat going towards a waterfall and you're scared to shit, but the moment you go over it's gone. I could still feel the pain but it was almost as if I didn't mind it, it's like the sensation just gets put on the back burner in your mind as if it was nothing more important than a light breeze on your skin would be.
    Any sort of sensation from my body faded, limbs first, and drifted upwards to my head. If you've ever been startled while you were going to sleep - in that moment when you're barely even conscious and then snap back into reality you'll know what I mean. It's a lot like how your body relaxes and sort of turns off just before you fall asleep. It felt really peaceful and quiet, serene even. After that it just sorted of fogged up and I blacked out. Woke up in the hospital. Every now and then I swallow a drink and breathe in at the wrong time and get a bit down the wind pipe and it reminds me in an instant and scares the shit out of me for about 5 seconds and then I'm fine again. It's really quite strange.
    All in all, I would recommend you avoid drowning - you've gotta go sometime but... there are much better ways to do it than drowning, of that I can assure you.

    • @13ullseye
      @13ullseye 8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      13ullseye Drowning is my strongest fear,according to scientists,it's very close to your story:
      "Victims first panic and try to hold their breath, typically for 30 to 90 seconds. Survivors have reported a "tearing and burning" sensation as water enters the lungs - but it is quickly followed by a feeling of calmness and tranquility. Oxygen deprivation results in loss of consciousness, the heart stopping and brain death."

    My grandpa suffered a heart attack in his bed at night and at some point and he says at one moment he felt a calmness that made no sense considering the situation. He claims to remember looking up, into all blackness, and felt almost as if he was floating into it, but he then saw light, and our other lost family members seemingly looking at him through the light. Upon seeing them they said "Are you ready?" To which he replied with "I'm sorry, I"m not ready" and all of a sudden, he becomes conscious again in the hospital. Pretty crazy shit.

    8 years ago I had a heart attack while in the hospital , was talking to the doctor while he was looking at the ekg and asking the nurses how I got there , he just drove in. At that point I fell flat on my back felt no pain no symptoms and died was in a very bright cloudy place with people everywhere couldn't see there faces. All I felt was the greatest peace and love I ever felt. I awoke feeling wonderful asked if I could leave was told no I had to be evacked for emergency surgery. Never once did I feel symptoms or pain just peace and love.... I'm now 56 and live every day as a adventure and have no fear of death I will welcome it.

    A few years ago I had a very similar near death experience to some of the last few described. I was in a large crowd in the city of Toronto. I started chocking on what I was eating and at first I thought oh I’ll be fine just swallow it, but it got further stuck. I tried gasping for air but could barley get any air at all, and then my neck became swollen and my breathing completely locked up. At that moment I went into a sort of hyperdrive and started to talk to myself in my head trying to figure out all options to save myself. All I can compare that feel of helpless-ness when my options had run out was like running to a door miles away that’s closing. It was the most terrifying feeling I’ve ever felt in my life. My gf was there crying and her face kept changing expressions out of sheer fear. I did come to a realization that it was probably it and I didn’t want to accept that but something was there with me and it told me “it’s okay, you don’t need to breath anymore just... relax okay it’s gonna be okay. Don’t fight anymore” so I then tried that and it felt so good. I had a rush all through my body like the most potent drug had covered me with a blanket of love and warmth. A few moments later i had flashes of memories and it seemed like I relived portions of my life all in order ending with a grand finale of a very brief re-introduction to every person that I had met in my life. After that I knew it was over, I felt sad and I felt I had reasons to still be alive but there was no one or anything that would help me out of it it seemed, it just wanted me to experience this even if it was the last and something felt very meaningful and spiritual about these last moments. A bit after that I think my vision started to mess up and I don’t remember what happened but I went to a place and it looked NOTHING like earth. I was floating, and the light was as if it was trapped inside the air like coloured smoke that shimmered and sparkled. I felt weightless and honestly my next thought which I clearly remember was partial sadness i was gone for ever (so I thought..) combined with the greatest almost sexual joy I’ve ever experienced in my entire life. Honestly I don’t think that same feeling can be experienced here alive and on earth. I was floating and ever worry and problem that ever weighed me down was seamlessly gone. I had a full understanding that I had died, still retained all of my memories from being alive on earth, and was fully aware of all that was happening at that current moment in time. I can’t completely remember if I still had a body or not so I’m not sure if I was floating or walking but I could move around. It was like I had shed my body and was now complete with my self as a soul ? I’m not quite sure it was a very odd feeling...this may not seem believable but what I saw was a small rolling hill with a large tree that had huge branches stemming from it. My old dog that had passed away was there as well and seemed to be able to communicate with my head without speaking. He looked excited at first and then was startled. He told me softly that he was very happy to see me however I was not suppose to be there, and sort of turned to walk away but kept looking back to me. Something asked me next if I wanted to stay or go back and I said no I wanna stay ! I didn’t want to have to die again for a second time as it took so much energy from me. Moments later a voice echoed through the whole world I was seeing and it seemed to be projected towards me laughing and yelling with a kind of joy saying “NO ! YOU HAVE TO GO BACK ! THIS ISNT A CHOICE YOU MUST GO BACK NOW!” I shouted back saying no I don’t want to! Giving reasons for why I did not want to return but it laughed over me and said TOO BAD ! Moments later I saw a bunch of light and then it sort of contrasted to black/white and I was being picked up by someone to do the hymlic monover and the man (I think) had to do it about 7 times before everything was out of my throat. I coughed up tons of pop that I tried to use to wash the stick object down. I remember I thanked him as I was crying and gasping for air but it was more important to breath so I took a moment to catch my breath. Afterwards I started looking around, I called out... I even asked the people that saw everything and were there the whole time where the man had come from and where he went to but... he was literally gone. No one knew where he had gone... he just... disappeared. I am happy to be alive, I know people my not believe this but I’m not lying, this is what I experienced and all I can say to anyone in fear of death is... it will happen when it’s necessary and after those few short moments lol they do feel like an eternity 😂 it P U R E bliss. I’m no longer afraid of the experience of death. One day, I hope to go back there to stay, like when I die naturally or when my time comes. 🙂
    I’ve never wrote about this story before, only told friends but that’s my story.

    1986 I was having surgery to remove my left kidney and lymphnodes because they were cancerous. One of the surgeons had cut a main artery and I bleed to death. Medical records confirm this. What I recall , at 6 years old, was being put to sleep for the surgery and suddenly I'm in this brilliant white atmosphere with no gravity. I'm standing next to a tall figure that speaks into my head (like a thought). I feel absolute peace, calm and happiness. No worries, no pain, and no other bodily functions. This "voice in my head" that I somehow knew was from this entity beside me said, "You are not yet done my child. "
    My next recollection is waking up in the middle of surgery, can't open my eyes, move any limbs or use my mouth. The most horrible pain ever from my stomach and a lot of people saying she's back, with loud beeps, clapping, crying and bustling noises. I struggle to move and scream. Then I hear them yell out that I'm awake and someone saying shit, put her under now! The doctors told my family that it is a miracle that I'm alive. I bleed out, they ran out of blood to give me, then my heart stopped for 2 minutes, then it started again with full blood pressure. The team of 30 doctors, assistants and nurses all visited me when I was awake later that nigt to see me. They shook my hands and gave me hugs. Many of them saying I'm a miracle. One because I'm alive, two because I'm the first successful survivor of Wilms Tumor. All previous children died shortly after surgery or before surgery. The National Wilms Tumor Study Group in Washington continues to follow me and study me. Yes, I'm a miracle. I don't know if what I experienced was all in my head when I died, but it felt real.

    My view on death is simple.
    We've all been "dead" before ... - before we were born.
    Before we were born, we didn't exist and when we die, "we", or our consciousness slips back into that state.
    Being non existent once before doesn't seem to have bothered me, so why should I feel fear returning to that state in which I came? It's almost like returning home in a odd way.
    I just hope the actual act of dying isn't painful. That's my biggest fear.

    I was in a head on collision in 2016 with an suv , I felt the flash and pain of the impact and i was out , I was up in the sky looking down on my car and body and suddenly I just woke up in my car touching myself , it could of been a quick a dream or something but I didn’t see any lights or weird stuff just the scene ,The impact must of just knocked me out, I couldn’t move my legs and my head was bleeding but I was glad to be alive, actually shocked than glad , Changed my life, 3 years later I’m still struggling with it , it got the best of me I was always strong but i loss a lot of childhood memories, sometimes I wish I would of went on , my kid was 2 months old when it happen , he’s 3 now going on 4 , I haven’t worked since that day , so I’ve been with him all day every day for this span so we attached, he’s the only thing that keeps me alive and trying to get better

    One time my airplane lost pressure on the way to Florida. I couldnt get the oxygen mask to work and slowly passed out. I then remember seeing clouds in a blue sky. I was lying down somewhere. I lifted my head and body up to see a grassland as far as the eye could see. I then looked to my left and saw Governor Chris Christie and the feelings of horror set in... i was in New Jersey.

    Im 25 and passed away when i was 21 for 32 minutes when i was working as a firefighter in NC. I was ventilating the roof and the portion i was on collapsed and i fell through ending up in the second story master bedroom. The fall ripped my mask off and knocked me out cold. The smoke eventually took my life and i died. I remember floating out of my body above the scene of the fire watching the crew and hearing "FIREFIGHTER DOWN" then i felt pure love and peace and saw who i know was jesus christ and many people all around me including my father who passed away 4 years earlier from cardiac arrest. I was told my time was not yet finished and i hadbto return but i pleaded to stay. I woke up in the back of an ambulance after being brought back and was in agony because i had broke my back in 2 places. i had to relearn to walk but am doing much better now. I no longer fear death but im ready for the day i go back.

When I woke up from my coma that was the first thing i said i thanked her for my necklace. They were the first words out of my mouth and my mother and the doctor couldn’t believe I knew about it because I had been dead 25 minutes but I saw them all and everything that was going on at the time even though the white sheet had already been put over me and I was declared dead.

      He said everything is good in the past, everything is good now, & will be good in the future (telepathically).
      So things were NOT good in the present, & got worse.
      So I started studying NDE's. All the "light beings" communicate telepathically, & there is no time there! Not as we experience it!
      So he meant ULTIMATELY we would be together & everything would be good. It seems like forever to me, but not to him & ULTIMATELY everything will be good. Just not until I die. But this life is like a blink.

    About 30 years ago I had to have surgery for a tubular pregnancy. I remember going to sleep, then looking down, seeing my body on the bed, and hearing the nurse say my blood pressure was 70 over 6, and "we're losing her". Then I felt like I slammed back onto the table, and when I told the doctors what I had heard the nurse say, they were dumbfounded.
    Another time, I was sleeping at a friend's house, near her tv. She woke up early, and woke me up much later. I dreamed I was falling back to Earth in a sort-of spiral, and I saw the exact cloud formations as I got closer. She turned on the tv to a live news station, which showed a satellite weather photo, and the clouds were EXACTLY as I had seen them. I am convinced that it was a genuine out-of-body experience. I felt like I slammed back into my body after coming from somewhere in outer space.

    My grandfather passed away in 2016 after a long battle with heart disease and in the months leading up to it there were some strange occurances but the 2 that I'm about to mention particularly stand out. It was roughly 3 months prior to his passing that he had a major heart attack and was in rushed to the emergency room. I'm not sure how the doctors kept him alive, all I know is that he was pretty lethargic when I saw him and he was painfully moaning(his words were hard to understand too) . We stayed by his side for many hours because the doctor pretty much told us to say our goodbyes. All of a sudden he very clearly said "I think this is it" we all got up and stood around him and he asked us all to touch him. We all put a hand on him and he took a very deep breath and got momentarily silent. He got back to moaning and being lethargic and eventually I had to leave the hospital. He wound up surviving and coming home about a week later because he was the toughest man I've ever met. I went to visit him soon after he got out and he was all jokes and laughs as usual and he told me he didn't remember anything from the hospital because of all the drugs they had him on. My grandma would say things like "I asked him if he remembered -this person- coming to visit or -this person- telling him this and he said he doesn't remember any of it." We were all aware that his days were numbered so it was only a matter of time before the tone shifted and became more serious. That is when he admitted to remembering one moment at the hospital. He said "I thought I was about to die and I wanted you all to be there and I remember you all putting your hands on me and then I felt a peace like I have never felt before." A few months passed and we had a bad flood down here in Louisiana. During the flood he had his last heart attack and the paramedics were not able to get to him in time. At the funeral my grandma mentioned that he was in such a great mood for about a week leading up to his passing but he had a few strange outbursts. She told me that one night they were watching TV and he asks her "who are all these people" of course she was confused because they were alone but he insisted that their house was full of people and he didn't recognize them. One night he looked at her and says "who was that man?" again, she was confused and asked "what man?" he told her that there was a man who stood beside him, put his hand on top of his and said "Don't worry, it will all be over soon". She told me at the funeral "I don't know if he was going crazy or if there really was a man but he passed away the next morning." I'm not sure what any of this means but it brought me peace after he passed because I believe that he found that "peace" he spoke of and finally just let himself fall into it forever. No more pain, no more suffering, no more stress, no more fear, no more missing his son. Just "A peace like he had never felt before". I hope we all find that same peace when we leave this place.

And my gramma bless her heart she is still alive and great, but when she had a surgery and putting her to sleep she almost died or something and she said while waking up she saw people waking in the corridor wearing white clothes and instead of corridor it was a field, all Green. Who knows what’s up but honestly I wish it doesn’t just end. I had a near death experience and I don’t remember anything. If death scares you, think about this:
    Imagine what it would be like to be immortal. No, seriously, try and imagine it. Imagine being 2 million years old, being completely done with life, but there being no possibility to escape life in any way. Imagine being 2 million years old and knowing that you will keep existing for ETERNITY. 5 milion years, 100 million years, 5 billion years, 100 billion years, 5 trillion years, 100 trillion years, 500 quadrillion years, it just never ends.
    That would be the ultimate hell. Being stuck in this physical reality for eternity without the possibility to leave. I genuinely can't imagine anything worse.
    It's funny how immortality is something that alot of people wish for. They probably don't fully comprehend what that would actually mean. Immortality, having to live and being stuck in this reality for eternity is a thought that frightens me to the core. I'm so glad that we die instead and will be at peace one day. Although i wouldn't mind it if life didn't go as fast as it does.
    It's funny to think about how we often feel like time is going really slowly, but when it has passed it feels like it went by in a flash. I think everything is just perfect the way it is. I fully give in to the laws of nature and accept that it's all outside of my control.

      Ever though about being born over and over again (reincarnation) for all eternity..... Isn't that somewhat still the same hell you fear except only difference is you won't know/remember. That frightens me to the core

    • @jaritheskater
      @jaritheskater 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@royrodriguez4079 Yeah, actually I've thought about reincarnation alot and seen alot of evidence/material that convinced me of it for a while. And yes that's true, reincarnation is very similar to immortality and thus similar to this "hell" I'm speaking of. But as you mentioned, since you can't remember it anyway it's not hellish in your experience because you're only aware of living 1 human life at a time, but if you were immortal you'd just be 1 consciousness that never ceases to exist. Even when the sun has gone supernova and black holes are starting to consume our entire galaxy, there you are in the year 156 trillion still existing for eternity 😂 For me that seems like the ultimate torture method of all torture methods. Imagine being immortal and being buried alive.. Immortality is a very scary idea to me, much scarier than death. Reincarnation has a somewhat similar feeling to it but if you can't remember it anyway, and your perception is that you only have one life, then it's not nearly as torturous as having one life that never ends.

    • @sugaconda2864
      @sugaconda2864 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Elix3r okay, here I go... I’ve also thought that reincarnation exists... but, imagine an asteroid or idk a huge huge huge tsunami destroys the WHOLE world. Everyone dies. Will we reincarnate into another thing in another planet? I mean, that’s why I think reincarnation isn’t really true... you know what im saying? (Sorry my English sucks) and I totally agree with what you said, who wants to live forever in this shitty world.

    • @jaritheskater
      @jaritheskater 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@sugaconda2864 Well, there is no proof or anything for reincarnation so for it just remains an idea. To answer your question though, there is a way to interpret reincarnation that would fit in the picture regardless of what happens to this planet. How i see it is that all consciousness in the universe is one collective "entity", spread throughout billions and billions of different bodies. So essentially, we aren't actually the individual people we perceive ourselves to be, but rather just the consciousness of the universe experiencing itself, through many different physical manifestations a.k.a our bodies. If this is the case, then that means that essentially we are all the same consciousness of life. People die and new people are born every day, every person has the same experience of "i am this person". So you experience the life of this human body you are in, but when you die, other people will be born who experience the exact same thing, and the cycle continues. If this planet gets destroyed there will always be life elsewhere in the universe, as it is so unbelievably massive. I don't see reincarnation as individual people being born again in a new body, but rather as all life being one collective ocean of consciousness, and individual people being a drop in that ocean of consciousness, meaning that were actually all the same consciousness, but we can only perceive the universe from one individual body at a time, creating the illusion that we are individual consciousnesses while in reality we are all just life, and in this case human number 105,355,831,011 and human number 105,358,312,044 or whatever. The rest (like your name, weight, height, mental conditions, IQ, personality traits, age, hobbies etcetera are just labels tied to this physical body you are currently experiencing the life of. If that makes any sense.

    •  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think humans die too soon. We should live at least 2000 years, that sounds good. You can live in an age of zero technology, and also live in an age of super technology, or a time of supreme extraordinary technology. You would have time to do anything you want, to see so much different events and things happening. If you think that's too long, we would be used to it. A dog may think living 100 years is crazy, and would be so boring to live all that. But every human wish they would. And what if everyone was immortal? How would that be? Very easy I think, no need to worry about anything. You could just take a bath in lava, or stay underwater the time you want. No need to spend money on safety, or healthcare. And everyone you love would forever be with you, going with you to any adventure you want to try. It would be quite sad to see earth die, and wait hundreds, or thousands, or millions of years in a spaceship to get to a new planet. Or maybe we can find a way to bring earth away from the sun, and heat/light it with another star, that would last longer than the sun, and then we do it again, and again, and again... Honestly, it would be better if in this situation the universe didnt change at all, our sun lived forever and so earth and moon.

      Pretty scary but as i said whilst in that zone you dont notice because you are dead. Sorry to burst your bubble but like logic suggests, once your brain is gone your thoughts are gone.

      The Gombie it depends on the suicide (hope that's not to personal). if you hanged yourself, there would be no oxygen to your brain, therefore, no memory of what happened whilst dead. but if you like bleed out, or took pills, then the brain activity would go on for 3 minutes after death. and because there i no concept of time, there would be no end. I cant really explain why you didn't feel nothing, but hopefully you go somewhere the second time around

    My grandfather died not long before he actually did pass away. It was 2 weeks beforehand and he was brought back to life. He was not a religious man at all and didn’t believe in life after death. When he came back he told us he “saw the angels” and it was beautiful.

    My grandmother had spinal meningitis when she was younger and lost blood flow to her brain and her heart stopped beating for 10 seconds. She said she felt hands grabbing her and lifting her up. She said she saw a bright light and felt no pain. Then she said she felt herself pulled back down and the pain was back when she came to.
    Also, when I was at my great grandmothers bedside during her last moments. She started looking at the window and talking to her sister that had died in 1918 from the Spanish flu. Fascinating subject.

    I had lab work done in 2000. I am one of those ppl that tend to pass out. I was in my very early 20's at the time. The year was around 1999- or 2000. After my lab work I stood up. I started to see stars. I told the nurse what I was seeing. And she said no one passes out on her watch. I sank bake down into the seat and everything went black. Now I am in another state. I felt myself descending into darkness, darkness was all around me. And I said aloud in real time. " I feel at peace here" I said . the nurse yelled for another nurse to help her ( back up) I was between the waking world and the sleeping. I sank and sank. I asked "why are you shaking me?" the nurse later told me I was going into convulsions. The voices seems like I was 500 yards in a tunnel and they were at the entrance. So disent. I felt a burning in my nose and a pain in the back of my head,as I smashed my head to the back of the wall.
    Here they had giving me a smelling salt and when I came to I cracked the back of my head on the cinder block wall behind me. I know I was not dead or close to dying. But it was the craziest thing.

    I believe that whatever you believe happens after you die. If you're an atheist, it's nothingness, if you believe you'll go to heaven, you'll go to heaven, etc. My evidence for this is that when atheists have a near death experience they describe it as a fade to black, just like they thought, but when a Christian has a near death experience they see God and Heaven. This is just a theory.

    Here's a story: We had a dear Great Aunt who passed away in Mexico. We could't make it to her funeral (because over there they bury the dead same day or next day after someone passes.) So our family in the USA couldn't go and we didn't have any other information about her. Years later;
    My uncle had his appendix removed, but before he was able to have the operation, it exploded inside him. Doctors said he wasn't going to make it and to prepare for the worse. In his Near-Dead Experience he describes a women in a wedding Dress reaching out to him. Before he is able to touch her hand, she holds back. And she says "It's not time yet." He wakes up telling us he saw a beautiful women in a dress.
    Later we found out our Great Aunt was buried in her Wedding Dress.
    No one told us about it.
    Also the man in the video you were talking about who was in a coma for 7 days wrote a book!!! "proof of heaven" By: eben Alexander

    My mom died a few weeks ago and I can't stop thinking about how she felt as she was dying and where she is now. She was a devout Christian and felt she knew where she was headed but I lean more towards Buddhism and with this, feel uncertainty about many things about death. I just wish I knew she felt peace when she left and that she is in a better place now (she was in so much pain before she died.)

    30 years old now. When I was 18 I purposely overdosed to commit suicide.
    I was on anti depressants and had sleeping pills from the doctors with 3x repeats. In total, 72 anti depressants and 28 sleeping pills.
    I was pressured into marrying a woman 7 years older than me who forced herself into my life when I was 14. We had a child, a mortgage she didn't work and was extremely abusive.
    At the time I thought it was normal and that's what marriage was like. This time when she hit me I left. At work her friend called to yell at me as my wife had told her I was abusing her and not the other way around.
    I remember just hanging up and walking to my car and driving home. I didn't ask to leave or tell anyone.
    I went to my mums house who yelled at me before I could say a word. She also believed the lies. I thought if the one person who loves me the most won't believe me then who am I to fight this world. I hated my life.
    I found $20, bought a cheap bottle of high percent rum. Drove to my favourite beach. Pulled out my old high school notepad from the back seat .... Yep was that young..and started writing goodbye letters while downing 5-10 pills with big gulps of alcohol.
    Pretty soon I thought it wasn't working. I was feeling fine. I remember seeing a fire engine and then wanting to puke. So I took the last of the pills and foolishly drove to a gas station to buy water so I didn't throw up.
    A friend of mine saw my erratic driving and followed me.
    Here's where I don't remember anything. Apparently I drank water in the carpark. Was slurring my words. Couldn't stand up. Was smoking. And then locked myself in the car.
    A police car nearby was waived down and he coerced me to get out. I apparently had a incoherent conversation with him while the ambulance was on its was when I collapsed again and stopped breathing.
    The police officer began CPR and the paramedics took over. I died two more times on my way to hospital but they brought me back.
    I have no memory since leaving for the gas station to waking up in hospital two days later.
    I had machines connected to dots all over my body printing something. I didn't see light, dream, hear sound or anything.
    The doctors checked my pupil reflex, did more tests, put me into counselling, told me off and handed me a bag with my clothes I was wearing which were all cut up at my chest.

I watched them (hospice) take him out in a body bag & to just think of that , made me think about my own death someday. I've been getting nightmares & major anxiety. I'm terrified of death. I felt the nature of life and death, and gain much more respect for death than I previously had. So much so, that I'm struggling with coping with the living world. There is a balance between life and death, and what I've discovered is that we don't really end; we our energy is transformed or transferred into something else. Death is just a catalyst for change.

    This one was described by my grandpa
    everything will go pitch black, there is no time but eventually you’ll come back in this pitch black area with a light that you will walk to. When you go through it, it looks like space with a ton of stars, and he says it was beautiful. A light behind him came up and that’s when he walked through that one and he came back to life. He would later die, but that was his last words. He described it as being very peaceful and nothing to worry about.
    I still think about if you go far enough will you see other people, we will never know until it happens, but death is whatever you make of it

    fear is the reality of not being able to comprehend or understand what is going to happen. fear is also the feeling that stops us from dying. if we are high up, we feel fear of falling. yet when we die, we don’t feel fear. i feel anxious about dying even though is is decades away. but i don’t want my family leaving me either. no one knows what happens after death. maybe we just go back to nothingness again. maybe our soul scatters our across the universe and forms another living cell which can one day be controlled by our consciousness. either way, there is no point worrying about dying because that’s just wasting valuable time which could be spent enjoying life. if you feel anxious or depressed, talk to someone. if you are scared of death, you’re not alone. every single person alive in the existence of life, has and will die. we all die together, but feel alone. if you are reading this, take this into consideration and really think about what you want to accomplish in your life and how you can make your life and others better. thankyou🖤

    My experience was strange. My heart stopped for almost a minute and my "vision" or experience or whatever you wanna call seems to be unique.
    All I saw was my girlfriend in my vision. I was looking at her through water. In my experience, I was drowning and she was reaching towards me trying to pull me out. All I was telling myself was to get up. Do it for her. I heard those words in my own voice, like a thought, but much more vivid. When I sat up in my vision, getting my head out of water, I woke up in reality gasping for air. It was like the most vivid dream I had ever had. No white light, no feelings of peace, nothing. It was like my brain was trying to make sense of what was happening. To me it's like my brain came to a simple conclusion. "You're not breathing, you must be drowning". When my heart stopped, my eyes were open so I'm thinking the Image of my gf was on my mind and my brain decided to do something to make me resist the urge to die.

    I went into Sudden Cardiac Arrest while I was in Middle School in Gym class while running laps. All I remember is seeing blackness and hearing a loud buzzing sound. I felt incredibly warm and comfortable. I ended up being shocked and airlifted to the hospital right after. I was in the hospital for a week before I woke up. It felt like the best sleep I had ever had. That’s all I remember from it. I’m now 22 and healthy as ever with a pacemaker/defibrillator in my chest

    I was in 3½ months in coma after an accident causing a short near death experience, in which I lost my heartbeat.
    You’ve taught me a good way to explain this near death experience followed by moths of coma... yeah as you told us... LIKE SLEEPING WITHOUT A DREAM!!

    i really want to believe that when we die we are born on another planet. i hope so. i dislike this planet. and i hope everyones family goes to that same planet and you all meet each other.
    ...would if when family members and friends die here, their consciousness/energy is held in a waiting room until everyone else catches up and dies. then everyone travels together to a new habitable planet. wouldn't that be lovely..
    every day i'm so empty thinking about my loved ones leaving me. i really don't know what i will do to myself.

      Aww sis, hugs :). I getcha. Stay strong. People only truly die when we stop remembering them and being impacted by their energy. Take the teachings your loved ones have taught you, carry them with you, and use them. So long as you do that, they are not dead. Their physical body may not be around, but they are alive in you. All the best.

    Who else came here contemplating suicide? Edit: you're all so nice telling me not to do it. But anyway my life has really improved since I posted this and suicide is no longer something I'm always thinking about. It does get better trust me.
    Edit 2: well its 3 years later, im still here. Im so glad I kept trying to live. Things do always get better. I appreciate everyone who left a thoughtful comment. I do still have struggles with depression and mental health in general. However, death is never the best option. Stay strong everyone who might be going through something tough. Even when it feels like its all over and you just have no hope, there is always a solution, maybe you just havent found it yet. But I promise you will feel better soon. Take care everyone

    I had a car accident, and there was a moment when the pain just went numb, not only the physical pain, but my mind as well, I just calmed down and focused on what was happening and even considered the idea that I was about to die and that it would be fine.
    Then the ambulance came and here I am.
    But everytime I think about it, the fact that at certain point your body just gives up and stops, freaks the hell out of me.

    One time when I was young I drowned. I nearly died. I chased my grandparents dog onto the ice and fell through. I remember being dead. It was light and warm and then I saw what I believe to be God or Jesus.
    Anyway, I may have only been like 4 but I remember having conversations with this force. And I asked it if it's my time and they said no, so I asked if there's anything I can do before I go back. And it said I need about tree fiddy. well that's when I noticed that the spirit was 17 stories tall and covered in green scales and I said goddamn you Loch Ness Monster I ain't giving you no tree fiddy

    I don't understand. Energy can't be destroyed, only converted. Either the law of energy is wrong or that energy is transferred into something we as humans can't comprehend.

      Read into texts of Hinduism and Buddhism ..Texts say that Energy is transferred from one form to another..thats why concept of reincarnation .to achieve enlighment person keeps on coming in different forms..until he learns his lessons and becomes pure. And face his karmas in every birth to learn from them. There are many true stories of past lives.where people remember their past lives and memories are there with them in this life too. explains kids as young as 2 being a professional musician. Skills which they had acquired in past life.

      If the soul is real, then it can be considered a form of energy reverting back to its state of equilibrium l post death.

    As sad as it is, there's likely nothing after death.
    No vision, no thought, no perception of time or reality. Literal nothingness It's very hard to comprehend for our brains, impossible even.
    Try and think of nothing.. to the point you're not even aware there is nothing. It starts to make your head feel funny. Because it's one of the few things the brain can't imagine for you or even come up with something relatively close by comparison.
    It's sad, but ok. Because you won't even be aware of death, it'll just be pure nothingness.
    It's this inability to comprehend death and there being nothing that's caused all these theories of an afterlife and religion in general. Scared of it all ending, forever.
    I don't know about other atheists but the idea of being anywhere for an eternity sound horrible to me, paradise or not. Eternity is damn long time to be anywhere.

      Benji Ward I am equally terrified of death and eternity; living or not. I cannot fathom eternity in nothing as much as I can life; whether I would have the resolve to maintain my sanity, my personality, or my memories. Would I ever experience all the world has to offer, or tire of my existence?

      Benji Ward It's not too difficult to imagine. People may not want to imagine it. But what was it like 100 years before you were born? Can't say? Of course not. That's how it will be. Time for us stops, we quit noticing anything.
      Like a dreamless sleep, or general anesthetic. I had to go under 3 times for my wisdom teeth extraction and a cyst caused by impacted wisdom tooth. I played game with myself the other 2 times, because each time I never knew the exact moment I lost consciousness. None of the 3 times did I notice the exact moment. Just suddenly I'm awaking. Difference from death, you don't wake back up, you remain not noticing anything anymore. That's the likely scenario.

    • @benji7662
      @benji7662 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's similar to sleep, probably. But still probably very different.
      Because remember when you're sleeping you're brain and body are still very much alive, active and communicating.
      Even if you're not dreaming you retain some consciousness, you'd never wake otherwise, or react to pain and other things in your sleep.
      Sleep is probably the closest thing to being like death but at the same time i feel its still very different.
      Because you still feel something even in sleep

    I had a near death experience 12 years ago the first thing you feel is lightness like you weigh nothing and a distinct feeling of being detached from your body... Then your vision suddenly becomes really sharp like supersharp eyesight after it turns orange/red colour to earthy brown colour and a white light in the centre starting small then encompassing your entire vision after the white light it just goes black... Last sense to go is sound becomes muffled and a weird unusual noise starts to develop which I clearly remember a bit like someone crunching foil near your ears it become intensely loud and suddenly stops... At this point I saw less but felt more my being itself call it a soul if you want was free and it is huge massive like my boundries melted away and my soul unravelling to this enormous size i felt complete and utter peace no worries no concerns no rat race no nothing utter bliss... Going back into my body again was the most painful experience ever... This sudden and vast collapsing crunching of my being/soul into this unbelievably small container thats my body... A FLOOD of pain and intense sensory overload sight hearing everything on complete overload and the most intense and painful wholebody pins and needles you can imagine... When your being/soul finally packs into your body the pins and needles are so painful you can't move and just are in complete agony they so intense that I remember seeing them in my closed eye vision as intense dots of light eventually everything slowly starts to settle... However a very strange and unusual feeling stays with you well it did for me for like a hour or two of coming back a sensation of noticing the weight of your body and how gravity and the atmosphere above you is weighting you down you a distinct feeling that your body is heavy, not only that but you can feel the weight of your bones inside your flesh it's a strange feeling which lingers... I had a sudden cardiac arrest at an airport... I saw no vision of any land or anything nor did I see flashback of my life...
