I don't know if I should even suggest it but if someone is planning long term overseas retirement, France is an excellent option because (outside of Paris) living is very affordable and they don't tax any US pension income or social security, etc
We are hoping to spend more time there in the coming years! We've only done week long stays so far. Good suggestion!
Great video! I can’t believe we were on the Venezia for two weeks together and didn’t have a conversation as we have so much in common. Really enjoying your channel.

Staying in many countries long term sounds wonderful. Curious regarding medical seeing your doctor medical emergency etc.
There are really good medical facilities in Asia, we use those.
Hello, I love your new channel and the great information! I'm curious about how you handle cell phones & data. Do you have a traditional international plan with a US carrier & supplement with sim cards in some countries? Thanks for sharing your tips!
Great question. I'm also curious about this.
Yes, it is what we do. The only reason we keep our US # is because so many purchases made overseas need to be verified by a text to your US #. In each country you can get a sim card for $15-20 a month really easy. So for a couple from the US I would bring 2 unlocked cell phones, and 1 US sim card, then buy local sims to go with it.

What would be a decent sightseeing budget for Thailand? For say a month going twice a week to somewhere?
Interested in see what you could get for $4000 in Norway in comparison.
Oooh, that would be a fun challenge. Norway is quite expensive.

How about making a video on Argentina?
We haven't been yet! One of the few countries we've missed.
What countries would be best for seniors?
Can you suggest the area in Thailand you stay and best time of year to visit? Thank you
The best time is winter. Many people like Hua Hin or Chaing Mai, but we love the big city so we go to Bangkok.

What do you do for health insurance?
We will probably do a whole video on that, but you need to find one that covers you overseas. It's really dependant on the country you'll be in
Why isn't Malaysia mentioned at all?
It probably would have been next on the list.
Thailand, Canada, Thailand, Canada...hmmmm
$3000 for Colombia is ridiculous... must have been a real high roller lifestyle.
Keep in mind they're not living like regular locals!
He wont say it but the women are beautiful!! Colombia
