Don’t know anything about cars but binged this whole series in one stretch! So well done and making it even better then it was for the price of the cheapest one available it’s just a good job!
Flipping genius Matt, what a car, what a production, excellent in every way...congratulations buddy, I’m proud that we finally have a British A list automotive youtuber, Shmee’s got money, you’ve got balls and talent 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Regardless, my point is that some TH-camrs buy great cars and make great content but Matt buys cars that in principle should have been melted and turned into sauce pans but instead gives them an unimaginably and stunning new lease of life.
Hey man I just wanted to say I am not a mechanic nor a huge car guy and I am an older guy but I have to say the work you do is beautiful, your enthusiasm for your work is contagious and you really do make great videos. At times the amount you are paying for twisted wrecks is shocking but the final product you put out on the streets is just simply amazing. Very best wishes from Miami….
I'm not a mechanic and have never watched anything like this, but it is addictive viewing! Roll over Netflix binge watching, I couldn't put this down and ended up watching all 8 parts. Much respect for the bravery in taking something like this on. Really excellent presentation and infectious enthusiasm . Not sure that spoiler is an improvement, but the rest looks great!
I've just had the absolute pleasure of watching the build from start to finish, all 8 episodes. The colour looks unreal, and the whole car just looks soooo good. I think this build has to be my favourite. Kudos to you, you've smashed it out of the park! Phenomenal car.
I love that you show the cost of the builds. I feel like alot of people stop doing it when there channel's get bigger. I'm glad you still show its really good to see
I am in awe of you Mat. You take big risks and put in so many hours and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for making such entertaining restorations of these cars I could only dream of affording. Absolute class guy 👏❤️
I've watched all of your builds & this one is by far my favorite... you basically re-manufactured this car from scratch from bare chassis.. and it turned out amazing, looks better than most porches i've seen on the road & I see alot of porches where I live... great job 🙌 you inspire me... keep up the good work
Stunning transformation! Great colours, ride height, exhaust and attention to detail with the roof and the shut lines. Great build Mat & your energy, enthusiasm and optimism are extraordinary and best of all infectious!!
Dude you have absolutely outdone yourself on this one... wheel and paint combo is spot on and that exhaust sounds awesome. My favourite car youve done to date. Great work matt.
Mat, this Porsche Cayman rebuild has to one of your best looking projects to date. The transformation from a crash damaged/wrecked car to a stunning looking GT4 Cayman is next level. Loving the stunning new colour & the lowered stance with the new wheels. Absolutely brilliant! 👍🔥👍🔥
Have to say, when you first showed this car as a total wreck I thought no way he's going to be able to sort that out, but it's turned out the best car you've done so far. The body kit, colour and wheels look sick. Totally blown away by the reveal, what an amazing looking car, a real trash to treasure transformation.
Man, I just found this channel and series this beautiful Sunday and enjoyed every episode so much. Finished part 6 and was sad, that I can't watch more. Refreshed your channel and part 7 is here. I'm beyond thankful :D Insane job Mat and friends!
Dude i had quite literally the same experience. Found the channel today in the morning, binge watched all this series, then went into the most recent vids to see the next one and was bummed out. Then a few hours later this pops up in my notifications
Man that colour looks incredible with the carbon accents and dark wheels. I wasn't sold on the wing, but I must say, with the car being lowered and sitting in it's final form, it's really grown on me.
Know very little about car mechanics but your stuff is compulsive viewing. The enthusiasm is infectious! I'm down in NZ so from the other side of the world, keep them coming.
Mat, you are so fun to watch! When you painted the Cayman yellow(ish), it brought back memories of my 1970 914-6 which was orange and black. I enjoyed it so much and wanted that sports car feeling back, so I bought it's best replacement, a Cayman S. The Cayman is the 914-6 done right. Thanks!
Looks great! For the passenger air bag, I would check the fitting for continuity; it’s possible that the connector fused itself during the accident. A multimeter should give you an unification of if it’s still working properly or not. Worth checking
would never check any airbag system with a multimeter unless 100% disconnected! The easiest way to check is to fit a 3 ohm resistor instead of the airbag and see if the code deletes
Your taste in spec for all the cars is so sick. It’s literally everything I would want done to my cars. Props on this build and all the others. I look forward to seeing that murci though. Congratulations on all your recent successes, it’s well deserved. All the way from Arizona, cheers.
Nice work Mat..I loved this and all your Builds..I popped my Achilles 2 months ago, so ive been pretty much housebound..you and the team defo helped me through a tough time.
The Porsche turned out amazing, the colour definitely makes it pop from others and the whole build is amazing. One thing that would have been interesting too see is, if you were able to tint the red part of the taillights black. This is definitely one masterpiece of a build. Looks great!
It looks awesome!!! Love the gt4 style look. I don’t think I could ever do the gt4 justice with my driving skills, so having a cayman S that kinda looks like a gt4 might be the perfect compromise, awesome looks, good driving and not too fast
The colour looks absolutly stunning! Well done Mat! When you painted it i was doubting the colour, but seeing it finished it just looks amazing! Great rebuild by you and the crew. Love it.
This build has been one of my favourites for sure. The whole transformation is mind blowing!! Would love a car like this. Great content as usual Matt keep smashing it 👍
So without the expensive paint, body kit and seats, and one or two more details, you could have had a completely rebuilt 718 S WITH an awesome exhaust and some more additional stuff that sounds like THAT for what... 30k?? Insane bro. Awesome build, awesome vids, and I respect the decision to go all out in the end because it was definitely worth it for how insanely sexy the car looks. Bravo.
Great energy as always Matt. You guys have smashed, the car rebuild along with the TV production perfectly complimented by your character are always great to watch. Pat on the backs for all of you guys 👍🏽
Your CAYMAN is a full success. A lot of work but the result is breath taking. You have made the good choices all along the restoration. Wonderfull wheels and the best suspension we can imagine (BILSTEIN) . This car is much better now that the car of the stock from PORSCHE. It is more than a CAYMAN S. Congratulations.
Late to the party and also binge-watched.. Great series - far from tinkering on your drive with welding & paint job, but as always... the end result - absolutely incredible, well done!!! 😊
The detail and work needed to get this going Mat, one of those baffling ones, i never thought you could ever repair all of that, getting that roof off, jeez, to sorting the radiators and getting the inside right too, that troublesome left hand side as well, more a headache, but the end result. wowsers. One of the hardest things I had to do in my life was hand the keys back The Car looks fantastic awesome work loved watching you rebuild and bring back to life

Epic build. Perfect color, perfect mods. I always liked Caymans, they are the only car you will ever need. And this one looks simply perfect. Great content Mat, fav channel by far from TH-cam.
great work. Amazing results, the only thing is that I preferred the look of the original exhaust system. Besides that the final result of your work is outstanding.

Looks absolutely sickkkkk! Arguably better than the real GT4RS! Wasn’t sure about the massive spoiler when first revealed it! But soooooo so cool! Nice one! 👊🏼
Nice rebuild and upgrades for this Cayman S. I think all that hear the exhaust system change will be doing it to theirs, as you got this turbo 2.5 actually pushing out some good music.

That back box is a work of art 👍
Nice rebuild and upgrades for this Cayman S. I think all that hear the exhaust system change will be doing it to theirs, as you got this turbo 2.5 actually pushing out some good music.
