If they believe OT was from god they have the obligation to justify god's commands even if they were for ancient Israelites, even if Christians don't follow OT, they are obligated to defend gods action and commands. You will never see a Muslim scholar backing away from Quran and Sunnah.

Today stream was special with the syaykh uthman, hashim, ijaz, yusof ponders with cameo from asadulla ali and saajid lipham. Man that was good. Jazakallah hamza for coordinating this stream.
I just got chills. I had a black labrador which I loved very much. We got him when I was 5, so I basically had grown up with him. We had to put him down when he was 13 since he was struggling. But during them years when I was around 6 to 8 we had pranornmal activity going on in the house. I remember even seeing a black humanoid figure with red eyes standing at the bottom of my stairs, just staring at me. But I remember I didn't scream I was just fixated on this thing. I then ran back up stairs into my bedroom and when I turned back it was outside my bedroom at the top of the stairs, again just looking at me. That was the first and last time I physically saw anything. Apart from that it was the usual, objects moving, electricals turning off or on, wardrobe shaking. Even though my family isn't religious my nana is a non practicing Catholic, we got some crucifixes and called a priest out to bless the house. He said that one of the crucifixes was thrown onto the floor and the Jesus broke off it. He sorted the problem out, but we still had some minor instances. I remember one time when I still had a bunk bed, and my black labrador would sleep on the bottom double. During the night I leaned over for some reason and saw a black object sticking over the bed. I could distinguish colour since the floor was a wooden light brown almost creamy colour. Anyway I thought it was the dog so I got down, and went to stroke it, only my hands went right through it, I immediately turned around and put light on, then turned around to the bed and saw my dog curled up in the corner looking at me like I was nuts. But since he died I haven't really experienced anything. It could be a coincidence, that you say jinn like to take forms of dogs even especially black dogs, but who knows. Anyway I realised that this life was not the only thing or that there were other entities that existed and were not physical like us. This is what led me to becoming a Christian, but recently I have been studying Islam. You are well aware of all the negative info on Islam and for a time I took it as truth, so I have just started to read an English translation or the Qur'an. And I'm finding a lot of things interesting about Islam, very different to how the media portrays Islam or even different to how many Christians would describe Islam.
May Allah bestow brother Ijaz with a righteous pious beautiful wife and bestow him many adorable babies. I believe he would make an amazing and loving father Insha’Allah.😊

It really bothers me to read people (fellow muslims) giving fatwas on live chat regarding ppls sincerity...it is not smthn any1 knows or should even comment about.Say good things there and if nothing good can be said please keep mum.Critise the argument however u like but spare the person...it is not Islam. And he bought him for two black slaves, and he did not afterwards take allegiance from anyone until he had asked him whether he was a slave (or a free man) Sahih Muslim 10:3901 'Ubaidullah b. Abu Rafi', the freed slave of the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him), said: When Haruria (the Khwarij) set out and as he was with 'Ali b. Abu Talib (Allah be pleased with him) they said," There is no command but that of Allah." Upon this 'Ali said: The statement is true but it is intentionally applied (to support) a wrong (cause). The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him described their characteristics and I found these characteristics in them. The most hateful among the creation of Allah us one black man among them (Khwarij). One of his hand is like the teat of a goat or the nipple of the breast. When 'Ali b. A person narrated to me from Ibn Hanain that he said: I saw that black man. Sahih Muslim 5:2334 Shem, the son of Noah was the father of the Arabs, the Persians, and the Greeks; Ham was the father of the Black Africans; and Japheth was the father of the Turks and of Gog and Magog who were cousins of the Turks. Noah prayed that the prophets and apostles would be descended from Shem and kings would be from Japheth. He prayed that the African’s color would change so that their descendants would be slaves to the Arabs and Turks.

Wow Mashallah, I learned a lot from these debates, a wonderful job dismantling rumors and spreading knowledge. At first glance brother Hamza always seems to be a bit aggressive but in the end, you see the wisdom in breaking the hidden unwarranted attack on the panel and on Islam. My main problem with the attackers like Rob is that they are not sincere in learning or having a logical debate or fruitful discussion, that is why a defender of the stream time like Hamza must be there to protect it from trolls and time-wasters.

That Kole shahadah doesn't sit right with me for some reason normally I'm buzzing when people revert but something didn't feel right. One minute he doesn't believe in Muhammad pbuh next hes taking the shahadah....

Kole said if the Sheikh answers his 5 questions he would take the shahada, then he tried to run away from his promise and made it 30 questions, and that's where Hamza and everybody got frustrated because Glenn tried the same move yesterday in the Perfect storm stream in Efdawah. The conclusion was okay but I don't feel comfortable about his shahada.........that's how i feel and Allahu A'alam.
Let's leave it to Allah to decide weather the intention is Sincere or not. Remember even in the time of Prophet SAW there are many pretenders (munafiqin) and we know where they belong.

Hamza, with all due respect, you should control your tongue better as a Muslim representing the Umah out there. about the dog , they were attacking the people and had a yellow patch over their head. And this specific type of dog were killed. And the ruling was later removed.
It's a marking that show the dog was being possesed by the jins...a friend of my brother encountered similar experience, but not with a dog, but a man. He was visiting my brother who was a lecturer at an Islamic university when he saw a cleaner, but he suddenly shouted at the cleaner what he was doing there. Turned out that cleaner wasn't really a man but something that looks like a man...Somehow my brother's friend can see through the jin's disguise...

Matthew was a good call, though it got derailed a bit at times - e.g. by Hamza bringing in evolution or by Sheikh Ibn Farook bringing in Muhammad and historical records when the discussion was really about the nature of morality and the problem of evil. Generally, I think the quality of the conversations sometimes suffers under the format of the show. It's hard to keep on track of a topic and not get drawn into any amount of tangents with up to *seven* "gladiators" in the room, each of which has their personal spin on an issue and a preferred direction for the conversation to go. I don't have a definitive solution for this, but maybe limiting the number of people speaking to each individual caller to two would work.
I think Matthew is more suited for the TAP show. Most of the audience wasn’t familiar with certain concepts…including some of the panel. Overall great convo
Well he did take a very long time tbh. And the point he's making is just "unnecessary evil". He got good answers from everyone plus yusuf also offered to chat more to him after. Remember several guests are waiting to come on the show. I'm not sure what else can be done. If someone feels they are not getting the answer they want to hear there's nothing to be done mate. Allah guides whom He wills.
Tbh he actually talked so much stuff so that he made me suffer unnecessarily, he was all over places, philosophizing about objectivity and morality can be easily understood by couple of examples of analogy examples, he is just like Ray but speaks in terminology, same waste of time like Ray
Hamza got frustrated with Kole not because of his questions, but because he tried to run away from his promise. Kole promised sheikh Uthman to embrace islam if he answered his 5 questions, then he turned the 5 into 30 and that's when everyone got frustrated (not only Hamza). The same thing happened with Glenn the evangelist yesterday in the Perfect storm with Abbas and dr. Imran. The conclusion was fine but i hope that Kole will comeback the next time to clear up this whole situation.
Glenn didn’t want to embarrass Islam yesterday, he was just trying to prove his 36 years old research on his religion and he end up admitting how Bible is corrupted. but I will see Kole coz I just started watching the stream 😏

So Allah tells us that even when we speak truth which brother Hamza does. Harshness makes people go away from truth. Which we as Muslims shouldn't do.

@@smith6696 the whole book? It's just one of the numerous miracles present in the Quran. Show me 10 people who memorized the same book with with 200 pages other than the Quran. It could be a storybook, poetry, chemistry, biology, etc. Any genre of books, you won't even find a single one where people has memorized the books from cover to cover.

It may not be your style but Hamza has his own methods of getting a person to realise their false beliefs. It is effective for a certain type of person that wouldn't be useful with sh. Uthman's style of dawah. Hamza does have a short fuse (which I think is good) but most of he says is justified. In do think people are offended due to some cultural differences.

Today stream was special with the syaykh uthman, hashim, ijaz, yusof ponders with cameo from asadulla ali and saajid lipham. Man that was good.

I just got chills.
I had a black labrador which I loved very much.
We got him when I was 5, so I basically had grown up with him.
We had to put him down when he was 13 since he was struggling.
But during them years when I was around 6 to 8 we had pranornmal activity going on in the house.
I remember even seeing a black humanoid figure with red eyes standing at the bottom of my stairs, just staring at me.
But I remember I didn't scream I was just fixated on this thing.
I then ran back up stairs into my bedroom and when I turned back it was outside my bedroom at the top of the stairs, again just looking at me.
That was the first and last time I physically saw anything.
Apart from that it was the usual, objects moving, electricals turning off or on, wardrobe shaking.
Even though my family isn't religious my nana is a non practicing Catholic, we got some crucifixes and called a priest out to bless the house.
He said that one of the crucifixes was thrown onto the floor and the Jesus broke off it.
He sorted the problem out, but we still had some minor instances.
I remember one time when I still had a bunk bed, and my black labrador would sleep on the bottom double. During the night I leaned over for some reason and saw a black object sticking over the bed. I could distinguish colour since the floor was a wooden light brown almost creamy colour. Anyway I thought it was the dog so I got down, and went to stroke it, only my hands went right through it, I immediately turned around and put light on, then turned around to the bed and saw my dog curled up in the corner looking at me like I was nuts.
But since he died I haven't really experienced anything.
It could be a coincidence, that you say jinn like to take forms of dogs even especially black dogs, but who knows.
Anyway I realised that this life was not the only thing or that there were other entities that existed and were not physical like us. This is what led me to becoming a Christian, but recently I have been studying Islam.
You are well aware of all the negative info on Islam and for a time I took it as truth, so I have just started to read an English translation or the Qur'an.
And I'm finding a lot of things interesting about Islam, very different to how the media portrays Islam or even different to how many Christians would describe Islam.

Abu Talib (Allah be pleased with him) killed them, he said: Search (for his dead body). They searched for him, but they did not find it (his dead body). Upon this he said: Go (and search for him). By Allah, neither I have spoken a lie nor has the lie been spoken to me. 'Ali said this twice and thrice. They then found him (the dead body) in a rain. They brought (his dead) body till they placed it before him (Hadrat 'Ali). 'Ubaidullah said: And, I was present at (that place) when this happened and when 'Ali said about them. A person narrated to me from Ibn Hanain that he said: I saw that black man.

Wow Mashallah, I learned a lot from these debates, a wonderful job dismantling rumors and spreading knowledge. At first glance brother Hamza always seems to be a bit aggressive but in the end, you see the wisdom in breaking the hidden unwarranted attack on the panel and on Islam. My main problem with the attackers like Rob is that they are not sincere in learning or having a logical debate or fruitful discussion, that is why a defender of the stream time like Hamza must be there to protect it from trolls and time-wasters.

That Kole shahadah doesn't sit right with me for some reason normally I'm buzzing when people revert but something didn't feel right. One minute he doesn't believe in Muhammad pbuh next hes taking the shahadah....

Kole said if the Sheikh answers his 5 questions he would take the shahada, then he tried to run away from his promise and made it 30 questions, and that's where Hamza and everybody got frustrated because Glenn tried the same move yesterday in the Perfect storm stream in Efdawah.
The conclusion was okay but I don't feel comfortable about his shahada.........that's how i feel and Allahu A'alam.
Let's leave it to Allah to decide weather the intention is Sincere or not. Remember even in the time of Prophet SAW there are many pretenders (munafiqin) and we know where they belong.

Hamza, with all due respect, you should control your tongue better as a Muslim representing the Umah out there. I mean like Kole already accepted Islam but you still ask him if Jesus is God, even after the Shahada was taken. Instead of just putting everyone down, at least try to inspire.

about the dog , they were attacking the people and had a yellow patch over their head. And this specific type of dog were killed. And the ruling was later removed.
It's a marking that show the dog was being possesed by the jins...a friend of my brother encountered similar experience, but not with a dog, but a man. He was visiting my brother who was a lecturer at an Islamic university when he saw a cleaner, but he suddenly shouted at the cleaner what he was doing there. Turned out that cleaner wasn't really a man but something that looks like a man...Somehow my brother's friend can see through the jin's disguise...

Matthew was a good call, though it got derailed a bit at times - e.g. by Hamza bringing in evolution or by Sheikh Ibn Farook bringing in Muhammad and historical records when the discussion was really about the nature of morality and the problem of evil.
Generally, I think the quality of the conversations sometimes suffers under the format of the show. It's hard to keep on track of a topic and not get drawn into any amount of tangents with up to *seven* "gladiators" in the room, each of which has their personal spin on an issue and a preferred direction for the conversation to go. I don't have a definitive solution for this, but maybe limiting the number of people speaking to each individual caller to two would work.

Well he did take a very long time tbh. And the point he's making is just "unnecessary evil". He got good answers from everyone plus yusuf also offered to chat more to him after. Remember several guests are waiting to come on the show. I'm not sure what else can be done. If someone feels they are not getting the answer they want to hear there's nothing to be done mate. Allah guides whom He wills.
Tbh he actually talked so much stuff so that he made me suffer unnecessarily, he was all over places, philosophizing about objectivity and morality can be easily understood by couple of examples of analogy examples, he is just like Ray but speaks in terminology, same waste of time like Ray

Hamza got frustrated with Kole not because of his questions, but because he tried to run away from his promise.
Kole promised sheikh Uthman to embrace islam if he answered his 5 questions, then he turned the 5 into 30 and that's when everyone got frustrated (not only Hamza).
The same thing happened with Glenn the evangelist yesterday in the Perfect storm with Abbas and dr. Imran.
The conclusion was fine but i hope that Kole will comeback the next time to clear up this whole situation.
Glenn was an evangelist and Hamza turned the tables on him questioning him about the bible.
Glenn didn’t want to embarrass Islam yesterday, he was just trying to prove his 36 years old research on his religion and he end up admitting how Bible is corrupted.

It may not be your style but Hamza has his own methods of getting a person to realise their false beliefs. It is effective for a certain type of person that wouldn't be useful with sh. Uthman's style of dawah. Hamza does have a short fuse (which I think is good) but most of he says is justified. In do think people are offended due to some cultural differences.
