- I am crazy impressed with this 90fps hdzero camera! not only does it feel like you are flying from your eyeballs it also has fantastic range compared to the stock camera for some reason (more frames?) even if you dont fly hdzero you need to check this out.

Yea buddy, so glad you continue to dig the system! HDzero is finally getting the attention it deserves. My recent WalkSnail testing has made me appreciate HDZero so much more, I mean WS does look super crispy in a perfect situation, but fly fast or behind something and that quality quickly goes to shit, not to mention the lag... HDZ has 1080p30 and 540p60 modes coming soon as well! The gift that keeps on giving, cheers!

HDZ is doing good. But we need VTX’s be made in different sizes suitable for micro quads as well. 20x20 mounting patterns, 16x16 mounting patterns, nano vtx etc….

It's the lower resolution that helps... So when they get the 60fps mode on the lower resolution will be even better

90 FPS looks good, penetration is impressive behind the brick walls & who knows how many walls inside. 🤙 That cemetery with the sky background. 😍 I feel ya on the back pain, hockey messed mine up, heating pad ftw. 😉
And look at his video on botgrinder2 page. He puts patches on his vrx and gets cleaner 720p60ngootage than the 540p90 gets in this video! This means that if he had patches on the 540p90 it would look even better go further! And this doesn't take into account the 60fps mode being tested for the 540p ;)

picture and lighting is always gorgeous picture perfect static free. cost $20
versus what.. $550 plus 80 vtx and $80 camera = $710 for a SHTpicture
I clip my lav on my transmitter strap, closer to my bellybutton. The HDZero goggle needs a weaker audio signal and if your mic is too hot it will overwhelm the goggle preamp and sound super bad, attenuation is definitely useful!
I even tried feeding a signal from a fancy microphone with a tube preamp and everything 😜, as long as you feed a very week signal it works, not worth using anything but a cheap lav though, the preamp and audio recording bitrate isn’t that good to take advantage of anything more.
My results are quite good 👍🏻 I got it dialed… not as good as a 32bit float recording 😜, but pretty good for TH-cam… you can hear preamp noise with headphones if you are listening for it, and the low bitrate, but I don’t know if most would be too bothered by it.
My DVR results are good with a cheap lav far from my face and manual camera settings and white balance… the image that comes from the SD card is still not even close to what you see in the goggle, but it’s not too bad to throw up on TH-cam for your friends.

Nice video. Great timing on HDZero and 90FPS since the batch of goggles at the introductory price is going to start shipping soon. Already got 3 90FPS cameras on order. Real happy the system is getting the recognition it deserves. This was a passion project for Carl and his small group of testers. Super happy with the results. We need more robust VTX for HDZero. I hope other companies step up and bring some additional variations to the standard design.

The 90gps works with the demibot mounts just fine. I just screwed it in they angle in but works fine. It's a problem in the source one frame nut not Demibot.

yeah they do fit at an angle i just didnt like the pressure on the screws (which washers would solve) cosmicfool on thingiverse also made some cam mounts for the 90fps cam.

The industry standard for monitors is 144 frames per second.
After playing on monitors like that, it's so difficult to go backwards.

Hey Bro. Awesome video. the 540/90 camera is pretty badass IMO. I can feel a huge difference. The actual Penetration setting for HDZero is 540/60. Try that out for your next penetration test. Regardless, the 540/90 setting did better for sure in your experimentation. I'll have to do the same type of test to see what I get. I'm using the TRUERC Singularity Omni's on top and the X2-Air MK II Double Patches on front. After watching your video it seems like the (4) Omni's do better that my setup. I'll have to get (2) more Singularity Omni's to try that for myself. Awesome video . HDZero Power.

Looks like you have some bad interference at the bando from some stronger nearby signal when your vtx signal gets low, maybe a cell tower or wifi device.

Is the HD Zero module the same as the one in their goggles? I've had the Orqas for a couple years and can't justify new goggles yet, especially since I love the Orqas so much.
Yes and no. Rf wise yes, with the goggles having an advantage on the fact that it's direct soldered sma and not ufl pigtails. However, the vrx cannot capture 90fps so the vrx is limited to 540p60 mode (not yet available but being tested)

Just my personal opinion after watching so much on hdzero it looks like analog with less penetration and digital break up don't understand why you wouldn't just go with dji the vista looks so much better then hdzero plus with the nebula pro you get 720p 120fps dji 03 unit 1080p 100fps I kinda get the hate bot has against dji I did at first until I tried it lol then switched everything from analog to dji I was a bit late to the game but it's made me a better pilot have more confidence hitting gaps and just looks better then anything I've tried witch is only analog, idk I don't see the hype about hdzero at all plus the goggles look like fatter fat sharks 🤣 you do you bot I'll continue to watch all your videos 🤟

for me personally i dont want to give dji the company any money it has nothing to do with the video system, plus i mainly fly freestyle so i dont need the absolute best video quality i need a system without a variable latency and lag messing with me which hdzero and analog have so for me this is the perfect choice. but if your someone that doesnt care about corporate ethics and funding a shady government and you just want the prettiest picture possible to cruise around the park then yeah dji for sure. (not talking about you specifically just the general consumer) i also wont shop at amazon,walmart,mcdoanlads etc and alot of peopel do so i can understand why they dont have an issue giving company's like dji money there is no ethical consumption under capitalism but i try to be conscious of where my money goes and how it can affect people. i am passionate about fpv so dji gets none of it haha.

Needs further testing, so far none have broken but I hear they degrade in signal rather then flat out die.
