Sooooo many great sounding books, Kelsi. ❄️ This video makes me excited for Holiday Hell and the winter months (hope we get cold weather 🤞🏻). I want to read Krampus by Brom in December plus all my other Krampus books you gave me. And, my Christmas themed zombie book. 🎄
Thanks so much for the awesome recommendations! I love reading Winter Horror all year long! It took me over an hour to watch your vid because I didn't want to miss writing down all the books I have not read yet! Take Care & Happy Reading! 👿🎅🤶❄
So many awesome winter book recs! Native Fear is one of my all-time favorite books! It’s a heavy read in prose and content, but it’s well worth it when you can find the time. ❄️ Thank you for the recs! 🩵🩵🩵
I don't blame you for trying to protect the Clive Barker cover. And a Point Horror Home Alone 2 leaves me with questions. Hope you have a great winter reading season.
Argh I'm so excited for our buddy read! and for the holiday hell-a-thon 🎄🎅 you have so many great books, I particularly love sabrina the teenage witch and sweet valley high as they're my nostaligic faves! I do also always love are you afraid of the dark and goosebumps, some childhood faves! love the video, stay awesome x
Yesss, winter horror is my absolute favorite!! ❄️❄️❄️ You have an amazing collection! Ski Weekend is one of my favorite Fear Street books! Just a heads up, Sweet Valley High The Evil Twin is the last book in a six part miniseries. Not sure how it reads as a stand alone because I haven’t read the mini series myself yet. It starts with book 95 The Morning After.
A lot of great books on this list that I love... and a lot I haven't heard of until now! I love "Dead Voices" and I really, really love "The Thief of Always". Have you ever read "The Bellweather Rhapsody" by Kate Racculia? It's a November book, I believe, but, it takes place during a tremendous snowstorm in a hotel where there are teenagers there for a school music festival. And band geeks like myself from high school would love it, I think. It's a lot of fun, and has some nice spooky and wintery vibes.
For those who like middle grade heart-warming horror my rec is Haunting at Stratton Falls by Brenda Seabrooke which is set at Christmas. Not very scary except for all the bullying the MC endures! I read this every year. I hope I can find some of the other vintage middle grade you mentioned. They all look good!
Ghost Story is a perfect winter read. The movie adaptation also has all the best winter vibes, too. Mothman's Merry Christmas looks adorable! I'm planning to read NOS4A2 in December for Cliff & Kristine's book club. So many great recommendations!
That Gingy is cute AF. LOL "Let's get King over with". Krampy be creepay so it can it be creeepin' and peepin'. Excited to read the Brom book this year! The Winter People was greaaaat! I need to get to Schrader's Chord. I'm afraid of Stolen Tongues because I be sensytive. L O L Maynard's House, I was so mean about that one. I NEEEEED Toad-eh. We should write our own version of Toady called "FROGGY". Secret Santa is great, I didn't know he did ya boi Mothman. I need to read Season's Creepins. I love Black Christmas but I am alone in that lolol. Just like Magic sounds cuuute. Hark the Herald Angels Scream is not great BUT you need to grab the audiobook from Everand and listen to the very first short story because the audio is amazing. Dead of Winter is great. The Beast of Nightfall Lodge SLAPS it's great. Who Goes there is fun! NEVER read Blizzard....just enjoy the cover....it is a truly awful book LOL. HAHAHAHA So does Demon Shadows...that book is not good but the cover is amazing. I did give that to you LOL it's a very Kelsi book I think! CARNIVOOOOOOOOOORRREE. Wow I gifted a lot of these hahahaha I hope you enjoy Giftwrapped and Gutted! This was awesome!
I just requested that Babysitters Club super special from my library. I might read it before the Hellathon. I also loved the Bailey School Kids, I should see if I can find a couple
Long Live the Pumpkin Queen is not (in my opinion) a Christmas or Halloween themed book, more like Sally's origin story but "Sally's Lament" is a Christmas themed book with a bit of Halloween themes in it: which is twisted tale exploring Sally discovering Christmas town, it is a very good book!!!
He sees you when he's creepin, love it. Let the Right One In, such a tough read in places but so good. I'll have to check out The Nutcracker Bleeds. I have Christmas Evil on my Kindle. I want to read Long Live the Pumpkin Queen. I didn't know there was a novelization of 30 Days of Night.
I was so intrigued by Pauline Dunn's novel I had to look that up. It was she and her sister writing under a pen name, and another book of theirs (Demonic Color) also copied Dean Koontz's Phantoms, so both Dunn books were pulled from distribution. It's pretty cool you have a copy. Home Alone 2! I didn't even know there were three different novels! I want that point horror edition. Home Alone 2 is my favorite also over the original. Pigeon Lady is one of my idols!!! I've got Freeze Tag on my list for winter and can't wait to read it. And I love all the Babysitters Club and Little Sister holiday books
🎅🤶🥶 Great video!! Thank you for all the winter holiday recommendations!!

I thrifted The Winter People recently. I am gonna read it this winter season. Glad to hear you liked it.
Such an epic list of winter horror!! I'm friends with the Frostbite author on TikTok and she's sooo nice!! I really need to get to that book!!
Great recs! Brom's Krampus is on my December TBR!
Thanks so much for the shout-out Kelsi! So many great books here! Now, I'm excited to decide which winter horror books to read in the coming months!

Can’t wait to read Krampus! Can’t wait to go back to fear street as well
I appreciate you adding the nonfiction.
I am reading the Book Devolution by Max Brooks with your friend and mine Kat from Kat’s novel adventures
Have you ever watched or read Dr. Sleep when after decades later the original Shining came out? Dr. Sleep is the sequel.
Í love krampus❤

I enjoyed Let The Right One In but it was definitely BLEAK!
@SlimeAndSlashers It's definitely that.
