It is so funny I came across your vid b/c I just bought The October Society, The Cotton Candy Massacre, and Tastes Like Candy a few days ago. I was feeling the Fall/Carnival Slasher vibes. Have you read "The October Society," by Christopher Robertson? It is said to give, "are you afraid of the dark, " feels...which I am excited about. I cannot WAIT to get to these books. It is all I could think about at work today. I am glad I found your channel. I have a booktube channel and am looking for other horror readers! I read a bit of everything, but my fav genre is horror. Great recs!

I'll be reading Clown in a Cornfield 3 this month so will join Amy McCaw's club thanks. I think Mina and the Slayer's had a carnival and also Clown museum scene in it too, but they weren't the focus of the book.

You need to watch these movies in a marathon 1 house of dark shadows 2. Knight of dark shadows 3. The NighStalker 4 the Nigh strangler There done by Dan Curtis I think they would make for a great horror thon just beware the dark shadow movies are nothing like the dark shadow TV shows if you want movies that are close to the dark shadows TV show then add the movies the haunting of Colin wood (my brother loves that one ) and (the curse of vampire ) they’re compilation movies of some episodes and scenes from the actual TV show of dark shadows. They run about three hours each..

The pro wrestler L.A knight uses the line ya Also you might want to him out . And the pro wrestlers Kushida & Archibald Peck Both big back to future fans . I think you’d like all three of them .

I was thinking about getting that coloring book! Definitely buying now!! I found a dupe for a more expensive water cup I wanted at Walmart. It is matte black with glossy black bats on it. Not as high of quality as the one I wanted but wayyy cheaper haha.

House of Rot and Circus Tent In my Backyard are such epic books! I can totally see yourself loving the humor in House of Rot’s humor. It’s so wierd and bizzarre 😂 Circus is more heartfelt and I loved the allegory’s message!

A stuffed clown car of a TBR. It sounds like a lot of fun titles. I've read Goldenland Past Dark and enjoyed it even if it didn't quite deliver on the back of the book description.

I assume you'll be doing a year of laymon wrapup video at the end of the year or early next year? I'm very curious to see what your faves end up being!
