I used Midi Channels 1-4 with the Studio One Config for Davinci. I just did not get the timecode to work. Thank you. You were the first to point me toward getting my UF1 working with channel 9, but later, I learned that 1-4 works as well.
@@RPMusicStudios One Again! You are the best, and I still use the configuration you inspired. It works great for my Basement Studio. I have the Blackmagic Desktop Studio upstairs, where I spend more time with the UF1. Thank you so much!
great find! One only has to select Studio One in 360 for DAW 3. After watching your video and then trying it out I saw that in Resolve Preferences MIDI port 9 has already been mapped to MCU by me some time earlier, obviously in a failed attempt to link 360 to Resolve. Now it works thanks to the Studio One protocol. I have the UF1 as a single device, and seeing the SSL meter working in any Resolve mode is an advantage. Four letter names and bi-directional fader control is also useful. Seeing this running well we might even expect or hope for a full integration of 360 with Resolve in the future, but it is already quite good with the Studio One protocol.
For fairlight the blavkmagic faders and eitor controllers are best. But maybe the channel from ssl as an addition wld make the work faster. Clmmit to one channel strip for videos is quite enaigh...
I’m able to use all controllers at once because the SSL 360 software treats all units as one when it comes to communication over one midi port. Hope this makes sense.
I don´t know why....six weeks all works fine. did the same way as you die. Since two weeks, my UF1 don´t like to work with resolve. With ableton or studio, all is fine. But resolve:-(

@@DanielFowlerSr ahhh yes. I used midi 9 because the other channels were used for pro tools and Logic Pro

@@Eleni999 I was pleasantly surprised when I tried it out. I with the transport would work in the edit page but not really a big deal.

@@rumorscameras I’m sure. I have my controllers for pro tools but since I make videos I figured I’d give it a shot.
Do you find that you can only use one unit at a time in Resolve? I was looking at the settings page and it looks like it limits the use to one.
