  • This car had no ABS light, and was making a clunking noise, and weird feeling when turning from a stop because of the stabilitrak. Here's how to diagnose and repair this problem. 2010 2011. Probably the same fix for lots of gm vehicles 09 10 11 12

    Hey thank you for the video . I ordered new harness and cut back about 22 inches of wire
    Hooked everything up and wire loom and doubled with plenty of slop.
    Works like a charm after having driving like this for over a year .
    A big thank you to you again Rust Belt

    This should have been covered under factory recall. Wayyy too many have this issue. The ABS connector from stock bearings also get corroded. Its the wheel spring sometimes too. Mine will squeeze sometimes and i cant go anywhere. Now a u joint going bad. these cars been a pain.

    This is the exact problem with my 2012. Any left turn may trigger the abs. Also as of late it will come on as I accelerate abs there’s a huge loss of power in the engine.

    btw if those are self sottering type water proof connectors, they kind of suck. & so do regular crimps, 💦 proof or not. imo the best 2 ways are the non-twisted(fanned) wire, continuing twisler twist, or the temutUb type(C my video, somewhere ?). btw does anyone have the diagram for that abs connecter box gizmo - apparently well kept secret?

    • @RustBeltAuto
      @RustBeltAuto  ปีที่แล้ว

      All wires in every car is crimped. The problem with this idea here, is using regular wires with a moving part. I googled ñon twisted(fanned) wire, continuing twister twist, and temutUb, and google tried to talk all about, and sell me a box of Twizzler candy. There is a replacement wire you can buy for these now.

      @Thunderbolt Get the codes checked. Parts stores usually have code readers that can read ABS codes. After driving the car, lightly touch the rims to see if one is hotter than the other. You may have a caliper issue, but that would be a separate problem.
