Saint Bernards, with all their faults (hair, slobber, tail of destruction, short life span) I loved every single second he was a part of our family.

Oh my goodness what an absolute sweetheart Midas is. Loved seeing his two family members working on giving him scritches. One on his But and the other up at his head. You could tell he was in absolute heaven. I also commend this lady for ensuring that Midas got the training that he deserved so she could manage him and ensure he lives his best life. I can see how a big dog like this could be very difficult to manage if he wasn’t well trained. Well done ❤ from Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺

I had a 100kg English mastiff. He was so huge and dribbled A LOT....but was the softest man and I loved him so much.
It's incredible how much love and joy these gentle giants can bring into our lives ❤️
When my brother and I walked home from elementary school there was always a St. Barnard that would jump his fence and tackle us. We weren't so big and he would slam us to the ground every time to lick our faces, slobber and gleefully romp about for a half hour or so. The first time it happened I was terrified but he was so sweet and goofy! He only did this a few times before his family moved. Great dog!

I had a half saint Bernard half German Shepherd he was 211pounds he would wake you up at night hearing mugs an glasses getting knocked off the table with his tail wagging walking past HE WAS A SWEET BEAUTIFUL SOUL JUST LIKE THESE SWEETIES

We had a Newfoundland who was so similar! Just a big old love bug/giant, who had no idea how huge she was. A lot of work and mucho drool to cope with but worth every second if you're a big dog person! I miss panda bear every day!❤

St. Bernards can be more suited to colder climates due to their thick coat and size. However, wherever they are, they'll bring so much love and joy to their families 💗💗💗
He is adorable! I have had giant dogs for many years and they are all like that - big mush balls that think they are way smaller than they actually are.
We've had 8 Saints from 1987 to 2022. The first 7 were wonderful. The last one was totally untrainable. We had to re-home him. The last time I talked to his new owner, he was looking to re-home him. It was such a disappointment, but we have wonderful memories of our first 7. We now have 2 mixed breed dogs who we adopted from a shelter and we love them.

I remember the day my parents adopted a Saint Bernard, who'd play-chase me across the backyard, then fall asleep on the living room floor. My then-2.5yo sister decides she likes him so much she'll pick him up and take him to her room.
I think it took him a month or so to outgrow me, then almost 8, to the point he'd drag me across the road when he'd get too excited. They grow up so fast.
He lived a long, record-kissing life, It's been almost a decade and yet I still miss him terribly.

When my husband and I first started dating he told me that he owned a Saint Bernard, at the time I've never actually seen a Saint Bernard in person, only on TV! So when I was introduced to his dog the first thing I said was "WHOA"!! She was huge but amazingly BEAUTIFUL and SWEET!! She passed away just a few months before we had gotten married! Now 14 years later we have children and are thinking of getting a Saint Bernard! We've owned a Bernese Mountain Dog , that's a lovely breed as well!!

I had a St Bernard ,she actually lived longer than any of her predescessersshe was 14 when she passed.
my first (and only) dog is currently two years old and 100lbs. he is reactive to certain things, but i always reign him in. other than that he’s a very loving, sweet, and calm dog. i feel like he’ll hopefully be less stressful after i get him fixed.
additionally, just saying to the breeders, PLEASE let your clients know if your dog is part livestock guardian. we DID NOT expect him to be this big and he’s the runt lol

I owned 2 dogs and a Business , one day I was in getting Hamburger Patties from the Butchers , both my St. Bernard & my Pit Bull were in the back seat, Pitty was laying down . I get to my car with my purchases and see the Butcher comin out of the store with a great big bone for my St. which was all he seen. I kindly asked if he would cut it in half as I had 2 dogs in the back seat not just 1 which he did.. I think he was in Love with him cause he watched for us to pull in every Tuesday so he could get some Loving from Sasquatch Sas for short .
