The Chihuahua /tʃɪˈwɑːwɑː/ (About this soundlisten) (Spanish: chihuahueño) is the smallest breed of dog and is named after the state of Chihuahua in Mexico. Chihuahuas come in a wide variety of colors, and two coat lengths.
Chihuahuas are the smallest breed recognized by some kennel clubs.
There are two varieties of Chihuahua recognized by the AKC- the Smooth Coat (shorthaired) and the Long Coat (longhaired). Both the Smooth and the Long Coats have their special attractions and are equally easy to keep clean and well groomed. The UK Kennel Club considers the two as distinct breeds; matings between the two are not eligible for KC registration.
Dogs of either coat type may be identified as either "apple head" or "deer head" Chihuahuas, particularly in the United States. Apple heads have rounded heads, close-set eyes, and relatively short ears and legs. Deer heads have flat-topped heads, more widely set eyes, larger ears, and longer, more slender legs. While deer heads were popular in the mid-20th century, current breed standards defined by registries such as the AKC specify the apple-head conformation.

The sweet dogs should be treated with respect, not tortured or deliberately upset !! They are aggressive because they are treated that way. You show respect and you get love, gentleness and loyalty. Alot of humans do not deserve these dogs.

Chihuahua babies are so sweet and they love cuddling, I lost my sweet angel foxy a little over a year ago she had congestive heart failure when she died a big part of me died with her I really miss her so much my sweet angel was like losing a child and my heart really breaks 💔

I can see the shadows on the blanket of someone antagonizing that tiny puppy just to get him to react for a video. Trained to be defensive and "agressive" from puppy hood on making them nervous wrecks. Gives the breed a bad name! Animal abuse! Terrible people.

Just like the pups that are forced to walk on their back legs people think it’s cute but they are trained by being beaten (people in Asian countries that “train” them are commonly using/beating the dogs with paddle brushes) till they are too terrified to even think about walking on all paws and that’s a horrible practice. All dogs and pups are cute enough they should never be tortured for any reason no pets should just be tortured especially for entertainment and or fame.
I wish animal abusers would disappear from earth.
You don’t know that. I have family that train their pups with treats and love. My son has even taught our Siamese how to communicate with us over the course of a year. We would never hurt her just to get her to do tricks. I swear you miserable people come to these videos just to look for problems. So annoying.

If the dogs were being abused into performing you would be able to see the fear and insecurity very clearly (tension, stiffness, low head, eyeing/facing/turning away from owner, grimacing, stress panting, et cetera) as I have witnessed. That is not the case in any of the trick videos here. The dogs are happily engaged and anticipating the rewards they're conditioned with. Argue with me if you like, I train dogs for a living and I've never laid a hand or a stick on one nor have the majority of my peers. Even the "old school" trainers that use force to train serious obedience would tell you to use food to teach party tricks and recognize that toy breeds like the Chi tend to respond especially poorly to any physical correction, shutting down or becoming aggressive rather than cooperating.
