Tbh, I'm just happy that Stampy is focusing on enjoying uploading content he enjoys making. He deserves to just relax and have fun considering how much of sway he had in our childhoods.
Ever since Stampy stopped swearing in his Lets Play's you could tell he had an extremely strong sense of Morals and self-respect. Despite no longer being as popular as he used to be he still uploaded his own content and is enjoying his life happily married with Sqaishey. Now he is pretty obviously retired and enjoying his own life whilst writing his own books (I think he started streaming for a while?) or whatever but man ill miss him. Stampy is easily my all time favourite TH-camr and has been ever since I stumbled onto his Channel in 2013.
@@iceresistance In one of his streams, he said that TH-cam is now just a hobby instead of a job. He has all the money he could ever want or need and he has his wife, Squaishy, so he just uploads every now and then (Every day right now during his playthrough of TOTK) whilst enjoying his life.
I wouldn't say that Stampy is forgotten, but he definitely doesn't get as much viewers as he used to. I still like his videos though, they have a very similar energy and vibe that the old videos do!
He averages 20k viewers on his totk vids and 60k on his Minecraft world. Compare that to the millions per Minecraft story mode and 700k of space and.ocean den, let's not forget millions of viewers for his main Minecraft world back in the day. I would consider him forgotten unfortunately, yes he still gets views but for someone of 10m it's quite pathetic how little views he gets nowadays.
I have so much respect for Stampy for managing to continue making wholesome content without a hint of drama for OVER TEN YEARS STRAIGHT. Given the fate of so many other youtubers like him he has stayed so far and above all of them. He has one of the strongest work ethics on the entire platform and im so happy to see he's still thriving and relaxing to this day doing what he loves, the same way he was all those years ago

I like watching CaptainSparklez because he still plays minecraft maps, but as he said in his most recent video, maps aren't popular content, especially episodic maps, which is a shame because that's what I started watching in 2011 and made me love the game.
It's crazy to see what time has done to creators I grew up watching... Also your content is really great, I've watched a couple videos now and if you keep making great content like this you're going to do really well!
add a gaussian blur on the background video when you have popups showing other videos with a shadow underneath the popup video. This will bring in more focus on what your trying to show. Great video! Hope i could help!
I just got a nostalgia blast I used to watch these guys when I didn’t have an account and when I eventually got moved on to yt kids. It’s just sad to see some of them go but atleast StampyLonghead is still posting so I’m happy

Disagree, despite all the shit that came out, I cannot deny that he was a huge part of my childhood. Watching his cops and robbers videos brought me so much joy back in the day. It sucks what happened, but I will never forget his old content.

Tbh Jerome really wasn't that popular because he only showed up in a few of SSundee's vids and if he was in more he probably would've been noticed more and got more views, but him cheating on the 100 days vids wasn't even bad because there are a lot of ytbers who does this "100 days" vids even though you know they're fake but they still get a bunch of views so I feel sorta sad for Jerome.😢

Lachlan is the only one I never heard of, but from the list, I only watched PSJ. PSJ seems to go through phases now of Minecraft and other survivor type games - this started after Mindecrack "split up" (over-simplification - the most prominent TH-camrs left that server over having to sign a contract). He still posts Minecraft videos whenever there's an update, but often switches back to other games now.

I never liked Stampy's content,his videos always came off as too "Sesame Street" for my 11 year old tastes but I can respect the man for what he did for Minecraft and how he just does what he enjoys. I hope he keeps doing what he enjoys.
