If there's one thing we should Reject modernity and Embrace tradition on it's them. They made us kids happy. All while being berrated as "sellouts" and "immature" for catering to kids. And all without the drama and stans and toxicity.
To be fair all TH-camrs back then didn't need to sell out simply because there wasn't a need too because it was old TH-cam. It certainly wasn't as bad as new TH-cam is where you had to sell out in order to improve yourself against other competitors and even then you still won't be able to compete against companies with loads of money to use on there channels
Also be careful what you wish for If the ogs still had the same growth rate like they were years ago then most the ogs would both have to sell out in order to keep up with modern TH-cam and much like the new MCYT's fanbase they are both comprise with teenagers meaning that the ogs would also have toxic stans. Plus these og stans would be WAY WORSE than the Dream SMP stans because they would be more obsessive because of nostalgia. We all know that Dream SMP stans probably started watch these TH-camrs one or two years ago so now imagine them watching these TH-camrs ever since they were little kids, who knows what damage they could do! The ogs are already struggling enough dont make the fanbases suffer too especially since i'm an og fan myself.
@@remcrimson2750 iif the ogs do have a miracle and come back to having millions of views. I doubt there'll be a massive wave of toxic stans that'll ruin it all. And dream has a toxic fanbase because he rode that wave. He was active on twitter. His persona was this masked handsome blonde guy and of course the smp he had which connected him to alot of other big mcyt names. Dan tdm is also one who "survived" all this time and his fanbase is pretty calm and mature. And he still does mc vids now and again.

But that's still enough to compete with some new MCYTbers like Phoenix SC and a bunch of members from Hermitcraft and Dream SMP. Fanbase toxicity aside on the bright side they are still some good MCYTbers right now that are new, isn't annoying, and not filled with toxic fanbases. For example Phoenix SC, FitMC, Wadzee, Forge Labs, Ibixtoycat, Tapl, the Hermitcraft gang, and even some members from the Dream SMP like Connoreatspants, Slimecicle, and even Jschlatt due to contrary belief. Jschlatt is really enjoyable to watch and he also a WAY better version that Tommyinnit. But this isn't mean there is still some bad eggs in the MCYT group and as an og myself I also wish we could go back to the days without stans but on the bright side at least some teenagers who get to watch new MCYT weren't there to see the horror that is Monster School 2015 - 2019, MC Songs by MC Jams, horrible Minecraft intros, pedophiles, and of course the worst og MCYTber ever FuturisticHub.

Minecraft TH-camrs, oh boy. I remember one of them very dearly *UnspeakableGaming* If I would never watch his channel, I fully believe that I wouldn't even come close to the knowledge of the English language that I have now.
I'll never forget those youtubers. They're basically what got me into the internet and everything. In a way, I wouldn't be the person I am now if it weren't for little me binge watching their videos for hours
I just like to think they areny forgotten but just "retired" they had their moment. Their world. Their years and years of popularity,views and literally molded an entire generation of kids.
I remember popularmmos was my favourite youtuber for a long time when i was younger I always really liked the maps like the survive lava maps ir that theme park map he made a few videos on and a few months ago I went on his channel to see if he was still doing similar content my heart shattered when i first saw the break up video
man watching this kinda made me cry. Thinking about how simple minecraft videos were it just makes me sad watching minecraft videos now. Now I can't open youtube without seeing tommy's "this is the funniest mod in minecraft" or something like "$10,000 challenge video". I miss lets plays and modded minecraft. It's no wonder why my channel isn't growing, I upload videos that I enjoy and is in 2014 style videos. But it isn't working so I tried to fit into the 2021 community and it was receiving ok views for my channel but I didnt really like filming them.
The thing I miss the most is Minecraft Hunger Games in general. I would binge-watch so much hunger games content and now barely any servers have Hunger Games anymore
I remember the Minecraft School animations and the like, as well as roleplaying Minecraft TH-camrs. I specifically remember I believe their name was Abby and they did roleplay a lot. I'm not sure about both of their channels, but MC school's channel is most likely dead given by their most recent video. It's sad to see your childhood die, but that's the way the cookie crumbles.
I never watched Stampy or even heard of him when I was younger. The only nostalgic Minecraft TH-camr I remember watching was Thinknoodles, hence why my name is xNoodlePlayz.

Can't say I watched Stampy, but I knew a little bit about him. So I might be the only person who never watched one of his videos and was in that community
Although I've never really watched Stampylonghead (especially because at the time I didn't really know any English), I can see why people liked him. He had a very charming and kid friendly voice, a really basic and kid friendly content, and a very likable personality. I'm really glad they were able to make people's childhood with a basic Minecraft video, and I really wish I could go back in time to really watch them. Honestly, I got some non existent nostalgia while I was watching this video, some sort of like when you listen to a Japanese city pop, and you suddenly remember the 80's, although you weren't really alive back then. Look, I'm only seventeen, it means I can still make memories until eternity, so fellow people, go make more memories to the fullest so you can feel the nostalgia at the fullest :D Hope you are all doing well, and take care :D

Stampy is my childhood, i used to always watch lovely world every day without fail. Then i forgot him for a few years, then once i saw lovely world back, i watch him again from time to time.
i love stampy long leg he is a long forgotten youtuber i loved his build wars vids where he builds random builds puts a wall in the middle and on the other side its his friend and they burn the wall down once their done with their build. i also love when he woke up in his house and always said hi to his dog i hope he gets his fame back i will never forget him my child hood minecraft yt.

In Poland there was TH-camr known as G-Play who did Minecraft content, he used to be popular, but then stopped uploading, he could be on the list, as he was one of bigger Polish Minecraft TH-camrs. Some years ago he actually revived the channel and started to upload again, but it was a disappointed seeing what he is doing now

My mom made me get off once he sweared, and I never went back to him, but oml- I still remember the toilet being in the floor and them laughing about it. (Btw, I was like seven at the time)

I have to be honest here I never really watched many TH-camrs as a kid other than Stampy, I watched him as a defenceless child back in 2013, now I'm 16 years old and going college! Thing is, I still watch his videos to this very day, watching him helped me to discover iballisticsquid and SB737 which I still watch their videos too!

Please I'm looking for a mc yt who has been forgotten and I'm trying to remember the name. Here's what I remember: He had a parrot theme to his channel and primarily did videos on a specific server where he would server for bases to start 'war' with. Cause the server was a bit different where you had to be in a clan to start a war with another base. One of his more popular vids was a video with SPIFFY for a like his birthday i think. Towards the end of my time watching his content he was just livestreaming and not getting many views anymore. Maybe over a few thousand views. (Btw his skin is a parrot) Anyways, if you have any ideas on who it is, please do say so. :D

I was born on 2010 I watched Stampy long legs I love them so much did every day I come back home if I watched him first I do miss is old content.
Please I'm looking for a mc yt who has been forgotten and I'm trying to remember the name. Here's what I remember: He had a parrot theme to his channel and primarily did videos on a specific server where he would server for bases to start 'war' with. Cause the server was a bit different where you had to be in a clan to start a war with another base. One of his more popular vids was a video with SPIFFY for a like his birthday i think. Towards the end of my time watching his content he was just livestreaming and not getting many views anymore. Maybe over a few thousand views. (Btw his skin is a parrot) Anyways, if you have any ideas on who it is, please do say so. :D
