I saw Chuck Berry play this and he just didn't have this kind of energy. The joy, the love, the excitement and all in the original style - the way it was meant to be. It's infectious. Mona's singing is unbelievable. Lisa's solo is so where this song is from. Play it like this anywhere from 1958 to today and it's still true, it's everything it should be, it's the real thing. Where was I when I missed seeing this live? Wow.
No doubt. And he was in his 50s when I saw him play it. And he did a heckuva duckwalk too. I wasn't criticizing Chuck, who was one of a kind, and a legend, and deservedly so. I was just showing my love for the Twins, who play this with love and full respect for Chuck's genius.
I wonder if Chuck Berry got to see this video before he passed away. He would be so honored to see his great song being done so outstandingly by these two fifty-sixty years after he released it.
I love it when Mona steps up on hard-charging guitar songs like this one. Her energy level goes up a couple of notches and pretty soon everybody on stage is feeling her vibe and jamming hard. Very well played ladies! Chuck would be proud of you.
These two sisters are tremendously scary talented. They could sell out the Flamingo or the MGM Grand Ballroom Casinos in Las Vegas for months or years. Wow! What charisma and stage presence plus they truly enjoy performing. They are hot and energetic like fireworks and lightning. Explosive twins of talent! Boom!
You are my favorite guitar team, one of the very best I have ever heard or seen (that includes the Beatles). You rock, you swing, you're tight, tuneful and tasteful, and every note counts (that goes for your voices too, which fit your playing like a hand-in-glove). What sweet tone! I've played for decades and you both inspire me. Hopefully you will come to America so I can see you live.
You guys rock!!! Your rhythm is spot on, you play the guitars and drums so seamlessly, and your voices blend really well together. An excellent rendition of this song. Rock on!
I love you both! Don't make me choose. Love your sound, your playing, your accent, your soul. I have been all over You Tube the past 2 days enjoying your videos.
MAN! Those women can play the GUI-TAR!!!🎸🎸. Great back up band too. The MLTs and their band ROCK OUT! If their videos don’t put a smile on your face - I don’t know what will.🎤🎸🎸🎹🥁👍👍
That is the perfect guitar solo for this song. I've heard Johnny B. Good a million times by a hundred artists and this as good as anyone. Props to the boys for laying down that groovy beat.
Deep down in Louisiana close to New Orleans Way back up in the woods among the evergreens There stood a log cabin made of earth and wood Where lived a country boy named Johnny B. Goode Who never ever learned to read or write so well But he could play a guitar just like a-ringing a bell Go go Go Johnny go! Go Go Johnny go! Go Go Johnny go! Go Go Johnny go! Go Johnny B. Goode! He used to carry his guitar in a gunny sack Go sit beneath the tree by the railroad track Oh, the engineer would see him sittin' in the shade Strummin' with the rhythm that the drivers made The people passing by, they would stop and say "Oh my, but that little country boy could play" Go go Go Johnny go! Go Go Johnny go! Go Go Johnny go! Go Go Johnny go! Go Johnny B. Goode! His mother told him, "Someday you will be a man, And you will be the leader of a big ol' band Many people comin' from miles around To hear you play your music when the sun go down Maybe someday your name'll be in lights Sayin' 'Johnny B. Goode tonight!'" Go go Go Johnny go! Go go go Johnny go! Go go go Johnny go! Go go go Johnny go! Go Johnny B. Goode!
Spot on great job I'm sure Chuck would be nodded his head and smiling from ear to ear and he might have even did the duck walk because he would be please with a performance like this you girls are my new favorite performers hope I get to see you live somewhere love you believe in you keep it up please
It’s too bad that I live in the USA. If I lived in London, I would definitely travel down to the Cavern Club and watch these videos two ladies in concert. Go Twins 🌹
I come on home in the evening, tired and listless and I think: What a wasted day today. Then I sit down and listen to a few of your covers and then I think: Well, the day was not sooo bad. Then I open your Facebook page, read all the positive news, add a few ,likes' and my mood improves noticeably. Then I decide to write you some lines and from this moment I feel really good. Finally, I go to my armchair, take my headphone and play some of your own compositions and WOW, I rocker with my feet and sing as loud as I can..... and suddenly I'm happy! Thank you Mona and Lisa (with, or without band), love you!
Hey Kevin why don't you think the twins have not emerged yet? I think they arrived some time ago and are just plain great. I haven't heard one damn song they have done that is less than fantastic.
It was great watching you playing good old rock and roll.you could see that you were enjoying yourselves and more importantly so was the audience, that’s what it’s about.T and N
Good Grief ... I love that you girls are so good you don't even need to look at the guitar even when playing the most difficult bits ... brilliant version ....
I loved it when you did it live and I even love this video more. I can crank it and get the full effects. This is pure rocknroll. Great Job girls. Great job on lead vocals Mona! I have been waiting for this video for a long time and now it is here!
Hola. MonaLisa. Un gran grupo. ❤ Grandes cantantes. 🎤🎼👏 Qué bonitos tiempos y recuerdos nos traen su música ❤ Lo mejor de lo mejor. 👍 Muchas felicidades para ustedes.
You gals know how to rock your soul. I used to go to all the dances around Toronto in the 60's and I loved Soul/R&B the best. If you want to add another great oldie for your dance list, I would recommend Candy and The Kisses' The 81 or any of the Martha and the Vandellas hits. The 60's wasn't just The Beatles and Stones. There was a huge contingent of Soul lovers too.
Such a perfect mix of crowd-pleasing ambiance and rockin' rhythm'n'blues... We've got the genuine concert experience here! Free admission! And a front row seat to boot! Outstanding job, girls!! =) Rock on...
MonaLisaTwins Know that feeling. Half way through a song like that i start talking to myself, just one more minute keep it up, only 30 more seconds come on god my arm hurts lol
+MonaLisa Twins You rock! You still got chops even if you're arm is gonna fall off. Last week I recorded Johnny B. Goode. I rocked it singing & playing bass guitar, and I even did the solo behind my head. I want to do this for America's Got Talent on the 1st week to be judged. It's my featured video right now. I hope you'll check it out and like it. Take care.
I just discovered them! I never thought girls could do the Beatles justice! They blew me away! I been playing in Hamburg and Liverpool with a Hamburg style cover band and in the 90s with my now sadly dead band mates! RIP Chris, Marc and Carl! Greetings from Stockholm!
What a wonderful performance. I'm really enjoying your stuff. Your originals are very good too. I love what you do. I know music is a terrible way to make a living so you have to really love it and it's evident in your work that you do.
I became a subscriber today and while it’s true that this band covers The Beatles really well I am also impressed with their cover of this Chuck Berry tune as well as The Rolling Stones “Last Time”.
I saw Chuck Berry play this and he just didn't have this kind of energy. The joy, the love, the excitement and all in the original style - the way it was meant to be. It's infectious. Chuck probably played it a billion times.
No doubt. And he was in his 50s when I saw him play it. And he did a heckuva duckwalk too. I wasn't criticizing Chuck, who was one of a kind, and a legend, and deservedly so. I was just showing my love for the Twins, who play this with love and full respect for Chuck's genius.
The Cavern Club sessions from the twins are everything rock and toll was meant to be.
I wonder if Chuck Berry got to see this video before he passed away. He would be so honored to see his great song being done so outstandingly by these two fifty-sixty years after he released it.
The song has been done a million times! But never better!
I love it when Mona steps up on hard-charging guitar songs like this one. Her energy level goes up a couple of notches and pretty soon everybody on stage is feeling her vibe and jamming hard. Very well played ladies! Chuck would be proud of you.
This is the best BASS version of Jonny B Goode I've ever heard, it kills every JBGoode bass cover on TH-cam.
Moses Bullrush Yep, that bassist kicks butt on that bass line, but then this whole band kicks butt !!
Totally agree....
Damn right !
Some seriously good bass playing in this.
He's pretty awesome in I Saw Her Standing There too
My first musical love was Chuck's stuff. Still love it and it's fantastic hearing the Twins rockin' it. Good stuff from these talented sisters!
Refreshing. Just what we need.
Rock'N'Roll will be around forever. I just love the purity of the guitar solo. In fact the whole song just lifted me. Many thanks, ladies.
Best version ever heard. Listen to that bass !
bog standard bass playing mate, nothing wrong, does the job
Yeah rockin' song, rockin' chicks, and killer bass
Ooh yeah, I'd buy tickets to see them in a skinny New York minute.
Thier talent and energy is incredible.
Boom!
They are really, really good.
Whoa! Lisa's dig into the opening notes is terrific and powerful. That's real Rock and Roll!
"Hey Chuck, this is your cousin Marvin - Marvin Berry, you know that new sound you were looking for? Listen to the Mona Lisa Twins!"
This new sound playing by Michael J, Fox ? No, MonaLisa Twins are playing !
A great live band
allmyloving
Johnny B Goode is a great one
Yep this the Future & no back up need ! MonaLisa have all the talent needed !
Watching again. Still awesome after all these years.
Sometimes they're so beautiful you forget how talented they are.
How very true, dead on.
and vice versa...................................
I love this band. Got chills in my legs listening to this... Rock ON!
The guitar playing the bass play and the drums wow......... boy this band is tight...
You two can bring tears to my eyes, joy to my heart, or just flat out blow me away! 💛💖☺👏👏

Mona gets to sing all the fun songs, love her.
Whoa! Best cover ever! Have to give Michael respect for the bass part.
Great lead guitar and singing. I got the pleasure of seeing Chuck in concert when he was in his early 80s. You did his song justice.
That is the perfect guitar solo for this song. I've heard Johnny B. Good a million times by a hundred artists and this as good as anyone. Props to the boys for laying down that groovy beat.

Hey Kevin why don't you think the twins have not emerged yet? I think they arrived some time ago and are just plain great. I haven't heard one damn song they have done that is less than fantastic.
TH-cam made me a playlist and most of the songs were from MonaLisa Twins
I haven't been this excited about music since I was your age! Great cover!!
It was great watching you playing good old rock and roll.you could see that you were enjoying yourselves and more importantly so was the audience, that’s what it’s about.T and N

Very nice performance. Guitars sound great. Beat is on the money.
A great cover of a Chuck Berry classic!
FOR sure every MonaLisa "sound" of music is fantastic !

Because your photo has a lot of blue. The lead guitarist(red hair) picks the strings like George Harrison.
Lisa on guitar!!! Wow wow........ this is just too good!!

Mona, how does your hand move so fast?? you two are such flawless guitarists!
I'm not gonna lie - if we start off too fast with this song it feels like my hand is about to fall off after the first verse :P
MonaLisaTwins Know that feeling. Half way through a song like that i start talking to myself, just one more minute keep it up, only 30 more seconds come on god my arm hurts lol

Many bands can only sing and play to this standard after dozens of takes in a studio... these two (and their band) nail it live!
the lead is far better than most...they should be world famous!!!!!!!!!! love them both@!!!!!!
Brasil - de Goiânia cantam de muito e belas sucesso! 🌹 😘 Marcospsi
These Ladies know how to Rock and the whole Band is tight. I Love it
Great Job on the lead guitar Lisa!!!! Shredder.......
Go Lisa! Brilliant guitar as always! Mona, your singing rocks of course!!
R.I.P. Chuck Berry. 3-19-2017. One of the greatest.
Killer, just plain killer.
Look at that "fast and furious" fingers of Mona! Fantastic! :)
Amazing! These girls are so often better than who they cover!!!!! Even the beatles!!!!
24 people are lost!! these ladies can rock!!!!
Love this version. And how, at the end, Mona's got the flustered "what do I do now" reaction to the roomful of screaming guys (and two girls?).
¡Fantasticooo!!! Desde Argentina, Amercia del Sur. Exitos!
Unbelievable! Please don't stop cheering me up! :)
Mucho fun here !. Plenty of steam !. Great Stuff !. Super all round. I would like to have been there !.
Best Wishes, From, Scotland.

The bass guy was really good! The girls are good too.
@@brians1032 This excellent bass really drives the song along , ! Well done..
@@rogerwale4827 Sounds a lot like the way my uncle played the bass! But he played a ric.
The bass player is their dad
I am so hooked! Love you ladies!
