I'm from Texas and totally blind in one eye and legally blind in the other. I just want to say thanks. It's been my dream to go up north in the fall. See the covered bridges old farms with red barns but my vision is to poor to properly see. I can take your video and watch it on a big TV and feel like I am actually there. I'm an old New England boy born and bred. I became teary eyed watching this video. I live down south now and miss living up there very much. When it is my time, I shall return to lay forever in the soil of an old cemetery with a simple stone. Enjoy your time . Your living in the best place on earth.

@@eleanormassaro5195 I am 65 and moved from Germany 22 yrs ago. Of course coming from a major City with a lot of overcast and rainy days this here looked and felt like heaven. Had no clue how hurricane prone this area is. Vacation and loving in a place is totally different. I miss culture, choices to shop and diversity in people where I live. Stuck here unfortunately. Tampa has so much to offer, but as I understand it it so overcrowded now. I hope you find a good place in GA :)

Where abouts? I'm on the VT border in upstate NY. I wish with all my heart it stayed beautiful right til December. Then the snow. Then end of January back to fall. That would be awesome.😄

The colors! Oh my goodness the colors!! Every video you produce, they seems to get better and better. There seems to have so many emotions, that just watching the leaves dance in the wind can make your chest swell up and ach a little. I found myself getting teary eyed just watching and being quiet. And then I watch it again just to absorb the colors into my soul. I love when you show the old churches that are being cared for and the quaint towns that make you want to leave the big cities and move into them so you would know your neighbors. And go pick the pumpkins so you can make fresh pumpkin bread. And go pick the apples, to get ready to make apple butter and a fresh apple pie.
Thank you so much for sharing your talents with me so I can see small flashes of colors and seasons going by catching my imagination that seem so real I can catch a whiff of the campfire or the smell of wet leaves. I always wonder if you've planned your drives for precise dates to align with a single, particularly bustling fall day, or if we could stumble upon these days any old time. Thank you for continuing your craft, even through hardship. ❤
Depends on the year but usually leaves start turning in late to early October and reaches peak color in mid to late October. For the Fall festivals you can drive around between north shore of MA to western MA and you will find a hand full any given weekend. Also farms have their own pumpkin and apple picking festivals. Hope you enjoy New England
