- Walking over Autumn Leaves in the rain through Portland's Nob Hill, Alphabet District, or what people call Northwest Portland. Taken in early November 2020 at around 2pm. Hear the rain bounce off the top of the umbrella.
No matter where in the world it is, Autumn is my jam 😊

This journey starts of at 147 NW 19th Avenue in Nob Hill, Portland, Oregon, Northwest District.
The church in the beginning of the video is Trinity Episcopal Cathedral and was built in 1904.
I very much liked this video, and all the beautiful autumn colours with some soothing rain in the background❤️🍁🍂

I miss my pacific northwest, specifically beautiful Oregon, but i don't miss the bossy loudmouthed libtarded lefties up there (though they're mostly in the larger Willamette Valley cities like Portland, Eugene, and Salem...yet maskivite politicians make sure the entire state masks up, even when you're outdoors, vaccinated, with few people around---and at a distance).
This is the Portland I remember. Peaceful, rainy, and oh so cozy.

Been living here so long now that I can't help take it for granted. I kind of wish I could see this from a dreamy outsider's pov. All I see is home.
I can understand this. But then again my city n area feels new in different seasons so it depends on perspectives. If you take a walk to work n you’re stressed you won’t be relaxed to enjoy or appreciate little things. Take days of work to self pamper bath soaks add touches to your home that makes you happy n feel cozy or move around your furniture. And take relaxed day strolls out. Grab a fancy hot drink etc. maybe it will feel different fresh n new. Maybe add music to the walk.
I've lived in the Portland area for over 12 years now. From day one it felt like I was home. I never looked back. And I especially love autumn here.

@B Babbich that is a subjective opinion based on preference. Having been to all of the states you mention and having lived in Oregon and Washington all my life I agree with the original comment and disagree with you.
I think New England wins it for me in terms of America, and South Korea wins it internationally. They have lots of Gingko trees, which turn bright yellow, and all the leaves turn at the same time...oh, and it stays dry and sunny most of fall there. But regardless, fall is just a beautiful time no matter where.

its one of my favorite things about portland. oregon in general. we have some beautiful weather/nature/landscapes/outdoors/sights. I don't think I could ever leave the PNW.
I lived here for 5 years and miss it every day. This brought me a lot of peace and I watched every second.

I am semi retired and work from home three days a week, in the office only one and off on Friday, and sometimes I really miss walking around downtown Indianapolis, where I spent most of my working years though for the past 10 I have not been near the Downtown Indy area, which your video reminds me a lot of. This video reminds me of “being back out there“. Thanks so much for taking us along. I love to walk and this was so soothing to have on next to me while I work at my desk from home.❤

It is extremely autumn scenic in a temperate climate. I am very jealous of the people living there. I am living in a tropical climate, I wish I could look at the yellow leaves, even one time.

We also took a wrong turn and ended up in the middle of a homeless camp under a bridge where someone was standing in the middle of the road. The guy was acting like a zombie. Being a Floridan I always assumed the Pacific Northwest [Portland; Seattle] was a pretty dreary place. However this video proved to me otherwise. Very scenic with the fall colors. It also looks crisp and cool; not hot and muggy like here in Florida.
I also noticed some rudimentary palm trees. Hadn't realized they grew that far north on the Pacific Coast.

Realistically, I'm never going to make it to the States. Even if I did, realistically, Portland is not going to be one of the places I go.
