I found you channel awhile ago and find it inspiring for travel, entrepreneurial spirit and relaxing. I have listened to your videos on my commute. I turned my dad onto your channel and during this last year as he fought pancreatic cancer he watched and rewatched your videos. When he passed I was going through his phone and his last TH-cam video was a winter video and he made a note on his phone “when I get better New England is where I’m going. He never got the chance but I know where I’m going to spend some time. thank you for your hard work passion and dedication to your craft.

And I really appreciate hearing that Rick. I try to focus on tiny details and ideas that ultimately create the big picture to transport you to the time and place. It's great to have pretty footage, but it really is all about the overall vibe which in the end, is an orchestra of different small components.

I love that she is so kind hearted and at peace while she creates. You are right, we all need to hear more about people. Your video on the lake just stopped me. I finally heard myself breathe when you slowed it down as you shot the video. The moment the video went to the water with the paddle entering into the lake made me just pause. Good morning to you too, Jim! And on this trip, it was rainy and cold and the temps were in the 50's and 60's in the mornings. Overall it was cold enough that we never felt inclined to swim. Since this trip, it's heated up pretty nice though! Will definitely be swimming today! And yes, same here! Old blue is finally back and I can't wait to get her back into the stories.
