I feel I have improved faster watching Miku 先生’s videos than in my entire 5 years of studying Japanese..... I had almost wanted to just give it up, but I have hope again thanks to your channel!!! Thank you so so much... N2, I am coming for you!!!!
Miku is a natural-born actress. Look how theatrical she is even when talking normally, with her expansive hand movements and multi-coloured nails. Thank you Miku for another really engaging and helpful lesson!
Japanese is really difficult, but you made it look easy to study Japanese. I always watch your lessons because aside from being one of the best Japanese teachers I've seen so far, you insert a lot of funny content to make the lesson more entertaining. Sensei Miku, doumo arigatou gozaimashita
I'm SO glad I found this video! I've heard っけ used a lot, but always (assumed) heard it as simply ーけ, like 何だけ instead of 何だっけ and was ALWAYS confused by the translations of whatever I was watching! 先生、ありがとう!!
でも and しかし are both used in the beginning of a sentence, but しかし is more formal than でも. けど is used at the end of a statement as a clause to connect another sentence. The other sentence can either be spoken or unspoken (as in implied). 行きたいけど、宿題がたくさんある。 宿題がたくさんある。でも(しかし)、行きたい。
こんいちょ みく せんせお です。Thanks a lot for sharing this lesson. I am learning Japanese using your channel . So excellent channel. ありがとう ございます。🇯🇵🇲🇾 🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆👍👍👍👍👍

And here I am, Studying Japanese for the N4 while I'm Improving my english (my native language was spanish LOL) I'm really grateful for your videos Miku-sensei, You're the best!
I was translating a little 2コマ comic for a friend of mine and came across a drunken character slurring 「何らっけ」(何だっけ) and had to come see what it was about. Thanks for the easy to understand explanation!
THIS IS SO HELPFUL!! All of my Japanese friends say "なんだっけ”a lot, and I could kind of guess what it means, but it makes so much more sense now! ^_^ ありがとうございます!
Omg i was just thinking about those sentence endings! (さ)みたいな助詞についてビデオを作っていただきませんか。どうもすみません And again sending my gratitude and love all the way from Egypt to japan❤️🙏
Thank you so much Miku sensei, I finally understand back in Love Generation episode 1 when Teppei met Riko again in the office and he said, " どっか出会ったのこと だっけ?"
I could understand this well because I use nandakke a lot. haha it's good to learn other uses of kke to. Thanks once again Miku sensei. Your videos are amazing
This formal and informal stuff is hard, once you sound rude if you are not using the formal form, on the other hand you sound rude, if you are using the formal form, and I don’t even mention the various levels of politeness... But I’ma 外人, so maybe it doesn’t apply to me so much as for 日本人. At least it is good to know.
quickly becoming my fave Japanese channel. explanations being in Japanese is a big plus. other channels speak too much English
Yes exactlyそのことぴったり。
Japanese from zero is the best, this def a close second tho
I feel I have improved faster watching Miku 先生’s videos than in my entire 5 years of studying Japanese..... I had almost wanted to just give it up, but I have hope again thanks to your channel!!! Thank you so so much... N2, I am coming for you!!!!

You are such a fun, smart and motivating teacher. Exactly the kind of lessons I need right now! :-)
I love that this helps with speaking fluency and sounding a bit more natural. Wonderfully simple lesson as usual, Miku-sensei!
Japanese is really difficult, but you made it look easy to study Japanese. I always watch your lessons because aside from being one of the best Japanese teachers I've seen so far, you insert a lot of funny content to make the lesson more entertaining. Sensei Miku, doumo arigatou gozaimashita
I'm sure Miku does these videos mainly to show off her acting skills! She should be an actress.
Ooo I love this. I definitely like the style. Not something you'd find in a traditional textbook.
This is actually taught in a book called an integrated approach to intermediate japanese. Which I used in high school.

Loving that you do not use too much English and that you teach with passion. Thank you.
Hi, MiKu. It's really wonderful the way of your teaching to me. Do me a favor one thing i couldn't find でも ,けど & しかし the way of usage pls. Thank you.
でも and しかし are both used in the beginning of a sentence, but しかし is more formal than でも. けど is used at the end of a statement as a clause to connect another sentence. The other sentence can either be spoken or unspoken (as in implied).
行きたいけど、宿題がたくさんある。
宿題がたくさんある。でも(しかし)、行きたい。
香港からです、お疲れ様でした
Informal use. That's not the only reason but it's one of them why we love you Miku.
Watching this video three years later and your videos are still top tier!
