    It is currently for sale for extremely cheap in Australia (appox 450USD) and at that price it is so worth it. Still my favorite IEM at the moment overall i believe it is mostly to do with the unique factors such as shell material and manufacturing tolerances that make it shine for me more so than the tuning alone.

    Currently my favorite IEM. Big bass, lots of treble, very energetic yet somehow they managed to keep it balanced.

    It’s one of my favorite IEMs in the sub USD1000 range, and arguably has the best price-to-performance ratio when it comes to Sennheiser IEMs. I agree that the stock eartips and cable suck hard for something in that price range, but oh boy, it’s been my most used IEM if I want to pick something that just feels right to my ears.
    I know the price is quite prohibiting, HT, but I think a preloved IE600 is still a good buy considering that it seems you like it as well. I got mine used as well.

    • @HobbyTalk
      @HobbyTalk  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Honestly, I’m very tempted to get one if I can find a used one for a good price down the road. I’m just currently out a job and don’t have the spending cash.

  • @_-Z-

    Sounds like my kind of iem. Pricey, of course, but maybe a future consideration for purchase... 🤔 I agree about the treble. Needs to be a lot of bass (more than treble for my preferences) to balance it out. Thank you for another great review! 👍

    • @HobbyTalk
      @HobbyTalk  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s all about that balance haha 😆 thanks! Ya, it’s a fun iem, if you can find one for a good price even better.

    Theres adapters for these iem's out there (i think its a n9009 connector?) And some manufacturers make cables for these. Null audio makes them, i talked with Hart Audio and maybe someday but not currently.
    Love my set, plus i got the steal when best buy had them on sale for 500 and theyre damn good at that price. Only issue i have is that the stock silicone tips dont fit my ears anymore, real weird but ive had to use foam tips on these after the first couple months of use.

    I share the same sentiment as you although I'm curious whether you hear a difference between the 3.5mm and 4.4mm especially with that treble as for me, on the 4.4mm - it's got a bit more bite with the additional power. Now I'm curious to see if the IE200 can compete with this set but IE600 is quite awesome. Keep up the amazing work man!

  • @surdzo
    @surdzo ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I agree it’s a expensive IEM but it’s a bargain if you consider what quality you get for the money both in terms of build and sound.
    This IEM in combination with good portable dac/amp (in my case Questyle M15) is a magnificent combination which sounds 3 times more expensive than it is. To get better sounding IEM you’ll probably need to spend 1500+usd
    Cables are not braided but they are good quality and you will not get better stock cables at any IEM less than 1500+usd asking price. since the price of good balanced cables alone are in 200+usd range.
    Bottom line, this IEM sounds like, if not better, than 3-4 times more expensive Over the ear headphones if you exclude soundstage in that equation. Don’t get me wrong the soundstage of IE600 is good enough for IEM (not best but imaging inside that soundstage is second to none in sub 1500 category) but not as good as soundstage you get in same price range OTE.
    For me DDs are still 🤴 in terms of real life sound reproduction especially at bass side of frequency spectrum and these IEM shows that they are among the best in other frequencies too, especially in the mids.
    And yes, they are very fun to listen IEM suitable for almost any genre of music.

    • @HobbyTalk
      @HobbyTalk  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s the best single DD I’ve ever tried so far for a lot of things, wish I could afford it haha great product though for sure!

    Agree
    its only bring big Name
    But my opinion Way way Overprice for this kind of build at 2023
    In my country you will spend around 800$ usd to get this (if you are a fan or collector , your welcome to splurge)
    I will turn my eyes and ears to chifi with only 1/4 price , can have same or even better build with same performance

    • @HobbyTalk
      @HobbyTalk  ปีที่แล้ว

      Totally! Great iem, but can’t justify spending more than $300 myself 😅

    • @Azure_KilluX
      @Azure_KilluX ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The graph almost like wu zetian Tang Zu HBB with bigger low, and a few at high
      I agree about the Great iem
      and the case looks good (low profile )
      Most of reviewer said so, but i think for 800$ they can give better cable with interchangeable, than 2 different type of cables
      The small zirconium body thing looks like cheap to my eyes like rough unpolish steel pipe, while other brand can give great stainless steel or even titanium shell at that price range
      Single high quality dynamic driver hard to face of >3 mix /same high quality driver on rival or high end chifi with the same category
      And last It doesnt looks like a 800$ thing
      If i got 800 $ usd , i would like to purchase 3-4 chifi iem with difference tonality variations

    • @HobbyTalk
      @HobbyTalk  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Azure_KilluX totally! I completely agree… I’d rather buy 2-3 good Chifi IEMs than this… why I won’t pull the trigger. Sen is a bit away from competing with Chifi still…
