My five best friends from high school and I traveled from four different cities across the US to reunite seven years after graduating and experience this once in a lifetime show together. We then ran into you guys at the airport the next morning and were too star struck to speak while bothering you for pictures. We are all in agreement that this concert was the best any of us had ever witnessed in our lives. Parcels, you made our weekend together magic, and for that, we are forever grateful.
I missed a chance pre-covid and have been waiting for so long to see them. I finally got the chance at their show barely a day before during their late night set at bonnaroo. We got a shorter set and it was Saturday night so everyone smelled like an armpit, but by god was it not any less a transcendent experience. I got the barrier behind the vip and was crying happy, totally not mushroom related tears when it ended. Watching this and seeing what they weren’t able to fit at the bonnaroo set just brought all the happy experiences back
Waited 7 hours. Got on the 7th row. Way less phones than normal concerts these days. Everyone just dancing like there was no tomorrow. Funnest night of my life.
I’m still processing being front row of this historic experience. My boyfriend and I traveled from Costa Rica to Denver just to dance with you guys front row!! I will never forget this experience. Amazing venue GREATEST BAND!!!!
I'm 69 years old and pretty set in my classic rock musical ways. Fortunately, I have young sons who turned me on to Parcels. Fell in love and, long story short, drove to Denver from Tempe, AZ for this concert with my younger son and his girlfriend. I'm a lifelong musician, music lover and live concert goer (saw most of the greats from my generation). I have to say, this was one of the five best concerts ever! What tremendous performers, musicians and vocalists (especially). My first time at Red Rocks and definitely the best venue by a long shot. I wore my Gram Parsons Nudie suit and the young folks were fantastic, made me feel right at home. Thank you Parcels for an utterly magical evening!!!
4 months later and we’re all still here. This performance will go down as one of the greatest concert films to ever be recorded, with the likes of Stop Making Sense. And they’re only just getting started.
I've seen many, MANY Red Rocks shows, some of the greats, some of my all-time favorites, Cheese, Yonder, Santana, Warren Haynes, so many more.... and there is no doubt in my mind this was one of, if not THE best RR shows I've ever been to. Vibes were emaculate, their energy was palpable, they are so tight, the vocals are unreal, and I felt was the perfect blend of their music to show their full range (including the special acoustic treat). Seriously just an unforgettable experience.
Wow - as a huge Parcels fan who just WISHES they would blow up stateside even bigger so more folks can enjoy their greatness this makes me actually tear up to hear! I wish they would tour there more and take over the world!
Big agree. I've seen a significant number of shows at red rocks and elsewhere and that was an easy top 5. Curiously it's another set of aussies in the form of king gizz that make up one of the other ones in that pantheon. I can think of a few spreadrocks nights that are in the ballpark too. What a band, what a show. Not a bad vibe in sight and everyone dancing their absolute asses off with ear to ear grins. Can't wait for their next shows stateside.

This was the best concert I've experienced. One of the best days of my life. This is the sound of a generation. Cherry on top we ran into the band at the airport. Incredibly friendly and down to earth people. These guys deserve praise from across the world. Let's blow this video up so they get the recognition they deserve!!!

Maybe the tightest rhythm section going around these days...a players band here...much admiration for such free musical expression at a relatively young age...the sky is the limit after this concert...a pivotal moment for them...well deserved...
I've never felt better energy at a live show in my life. I traveled solo from San Francisco to see this show and ended up right next to another group of 6 from SF! Truly felt like everyone around me was having the same special night, and judging by these comments, they were!

After being to so many shows at Red Rocks.... it's clear that this place brings out divine inspiration from the musicians that play it and the audiences that listen. The magic is still evident in the recording... and I wasn't even there.
@@Concorde1059 No doubt. The fellowship of so many human spirits is always a special experience. That fellowship experience is why so many people flew from all around the world...to have it at the world famous Red Rocks Amphitheatre. That place truly makes me proud to be a Colorado native.

That show was life-changing for me. Best show I have ever been to, hands down! The crowd came to dance and I was overwhelmed by the amount of people who traveled into CO for this event. I was lucky to live 5 minutes from the venue my favorite band is playing their one North American show at.. and wow did they deliver!!! They even hit me with Teenage Dirtbag which instantly transported me back to 2000 in 6th grade belting Wheatus. Was above and beyond what I could've expected!! Thank you so much for this show!!! I saw Parcels at Bonnaroo the night before their Red Rocks set and "oh my god" is all I can say. Thank you Parcels and your team for such an astounding performance. Never have I felt so electric and happy at once. Never have I seen a crowd move that way or show so much love for a band. I have rewatched the Red Rocks set 4 times now and all I can do is cry through it. Seriously, thank you for this feeling.

Traveled from Oklahoma for this show. The rarity of all members of a band not only being able to genuinely sing but committed to the craftsmanship and art that is musicianship. Magic. Incredible and haunting harmonies. I felt like I was floating. A night I will never ever forget!

Oh man, the good old Parcels energy. I really needed that. These guys helped me get through a lot with their music. Can't believe it's been 4 years since I bumped into the Live Vol 1 performance. Feels like it was yesterday. Edit: first time I heard them I was like "damn, these guys are really good, like they came straight out of the 60's or 70's". I thought they couldn't get any better, but they keep improving their craft. It might be a little too much for some, but I think they're the best band of the 21st century.
I think this video is on par with Live Vol 1 and any live show they’ve done. They are all different so everyone will have their “favorite” but seriously, these guys don’t miss
A million percent agree. This really reminds me of the first few sets I saw of them, and I have been craving this for so so so long given they switched to very EDM-y for a while. Don't get me wrong, I love EDM-y, but this is where they absolutely transcend.

I was hooked the first time I heard tieduprightnow and traveled to see them in NYC in 2019. We were standing next to a random guy on the balcony--he turns to us and asks if we have seen them live before--we told him it was our first time. He looked at us knowingly and said "well you are in for a treat". We have been traveling to see them ever since and this was yet another ridiculous amazing show.
Just got back from Colorado and will have this video on loop. It was my first time at Red Rocks, and I’m so happy it was to see Parcels. The elevation was tough on me and it was a struggle to hike up that mountain, but it was well worth it. Greatest night of my life.

Free is my favorite song of Parcels. I was excited to see it on the setlist and hear it when it came up. This alternate version blew me away. I had no idea they played it differently and wow it was transformative. It brought so much joy to me. Thank you Parcels.

Parcels are on the way to become 21st century best band, unfortunately I wont be able to see them live this summer in Lisbon, but that´s okay. It's a shame that a festival doesn't give the main stage to a band like you.
Unbelievably lucky to have been there for this. Even was in line for security with them at the airport and not only are they incredible musicians, but also the loveliest of guys. So happy to have been at their biggest show to date!!

Best band in the world IMO, and not just because I'm Australian, or that I love Byron Bay and holiday'ed there every year for 10 years. I was so fortunate to be at their performance in Nashville TN and can't wait for them to come back to Nashville Tennessee. Parcels, you have so many fans here now cos every time I play Parcels to others they LOVE you too.

Honestly, who couldn't love yall. I was sad rr sold out so quickly but being able to see the fun a day later is absolutely killer. My wife and I would have danced our asses off. Standing on that stage looking up was incredible when we visited. Highly recommended

Some of the comments here are so delusional and ignorant. They’re great, but as musicians, their greatness comes in their collective production, not individual savviness.
I’ve seen about a dozen incredible shows at Red Rocks over the course of six years. By far the mix/ audio and especially the video production values/ artfulness far surpassed any previous show. It felt like watching a produced movie in real time-totally incredible performances and production.
I agree. I took my girl to this show and she has always been into Parcels but not a huge fan. She loved it. Out of all of our Red Rocks shows this one is definitely tied at the top for us with Mt. Joy 2024. Cheers!
@@fvtown - yeah, it is. But then it switches to the other cameras and it's more sporadic. I really loved the onstage feel and intimacy of the stage camera. Felt like you were right there vibing with them.
I was at the concert and have listened to this almost every day since. Is there any way we can bring back the original audio from the stream? It just doesn't have that same feel now with the new audio. The piano during Somethinggreater was a banger and now you barely hear it. Please please please bring back the original audio or mix it again with balancing similar to the original.

Saw these guys open for Phoenix at the Große Freiheit 36 in Hamburg 2017. It was a pleasant surprise, as I had never heard of them until that night. I got to talk to the band after their show, since they were also watching Phoenix and they were all so fucking cool. 7 years later, these guys are at Red Rocks with so many hits under their belts. Congrats Parcels, you're doing brilliant.

That show was life-changing for me. Best show I have ever been to, hands down! The crowd came to dance and I was overwhelmed by the amount of people who traveled into CO for this event. I was lucky to live 5 minutes from the venue my favorite band is playing their one North American show at.. and wow did they deliver!!! They even hit me with Teenage Dirtbag which instantly transported me back to 2000 in 6th grade belting Wheatus. Was above and beyond what I could've expected!!

It's that they cut off 2 or 3 songs from the set list (one of them was Exotica), originally the set was even longer!
I saw Parcels at Bonnaroo the night before their Red Rocks set and "oh my god" is all I can say. Thank you Parcels and your team for such an astounding performance. Never have I felt so electric and happy at once. Never have I seen a crowd move that way or show so much love for a band. I have rewatched the Red Rocks set 4 times now and all I can do is cry through it. Seriously, thank you for this feeling.

Traveled from Oklahoma for this show. The rarity of all members of a band not only being able to genuinely sing but committed to the craftsmanship and art that is musicianship. Magic. Incredible and haunting harmonies. I felt like I was floating. A night I will never ever forget!

Oh man, the good old Parcels energy. I really needed that. These guys helped me get through a lot with their music. Can't believe it's been 4 years since I bumped into the Live Vol 1 performance. Feels like it was yesterday.
Edit: first time I heard them I was like "damn, these guys are really good, like they came straight out of the 60's or 70's". I thought they couldn't get any better, but they keep improving their craft. It might be a little too much for some, but I think they're the best band of the 21st century.
parcels vol.1 is for me still the goated parcels vid out there. Its pure musicianship it almost felt guilty to watch it free with high fidelity

A million percent agree. This really reminds me of the first few sets I saw of them, and I have been craving this for so so so long given they switched to very EDM-y for a while. Don't get me wrong, I love EDM-y, but this is where they absolutely transcend.

I was hooked the first time I heard tieduprightnow and traveled to see them in NYC in 2019. We were standing next to a random guy on the balcony--he turns to us and asks if we have seen them live before--we told him it was our first time. He looked at us knowingly and said "well you are in for a treat". We have been traveling to see them ever since and this was yet another ridiculous amazing show.
Just got back from Colorado and will have this video on loop. It was my first time at Red Rocks, and I’m so happy it was to see Parcels. The elevation was tough on me and it was a struggle to hike up that mountain, but it was well worth it. Greatest night of my life.
These guys were so great at bonnaroo, im sitting here sick from some virus I got being camped out with all the other people in tennessee last week but I'd do it all again for how much fun I had. Parcels you're the goat thank you!

Unbelievably lucky to have been there for this. Even was in line for security with them at the airport and not only are they incredible musicians, but also the loveliest of guys. So happy to have been at their biggest show to date!!

Best band in the world IMO, and not just because I'm Australian, or that I love Byron Bay and holiday'ed there every year for 10 years. I was so fortunate to be at their performance in Nashville TN and can't wait for them to come back to Nashville Tennessee. Parcels, you have so many fans here now cos every time I play Parcels to others they LOVE you too.

Honestly, who couldn't love yall. I was sad rr sold out so quickly but being able to see the fun a day later is absolutely killer. My wife and I would have danced our asses off. Standing on that stage looking up was incredible when we visited. Highly recommended
These guys have such a unique sound. You can really hear their old school foundations and inspirations, while their sound is so personal and fresh. I love it. Keep being you, we all absolutely love it!

I’ve seen about a dozen incredible shows at Red Rocks over the course of six years. By far the mix/ audio and especially the video production values/ artfulness far surpassed any previous show. It felt like watching a produced movie in real time-totally incredible performances and production.

I agree. I took my girl to this show and she has always been into Parcels but not a huge fan. She loved it. Out of all of our Red Rocks shows this one is definitely tied at the top for us with Mt. Joy 2024. Cheers!

@@fvtown - yeah, it is. But then it switches to the other cameras and it's more sporadic. I really loved the onstage feel and intimacy of the stage camera. Felt like you were right there vibing with them.

I was at the concert and have listened to this almost every day since. Is there any way we can bring back the original audio from the stream? It just doesn't have that same feel now with the new audio. The piano during Somethinggreater was a banger and now you barely hear it. Please please please bring back the original audio or mix it again with balancing similar to the original.

Saw these guys open for Phoenix at the Große Freiheit 36 in Hamburg 2017. It was a pleasant surprise, as I had never heard of them until that night. I got to talk to the band after their show, since they were also watching Phoenix and they were all so fucking cool. 7 years later, these guys are at Red Rocks with so many hits under their belts. Congrats Parcels, you're doing brilliant.
