    Cool did mine yesterday whats the washer at the bottom of the damper. I wasn't sure whether it had to be facing a certain way to keep toe alignment

    With out having a vice,is there any other way of removing the top bracket without the centre spinning,

    Looks like the rear subframe had its day

      Should be 150nm for bottom bolt and 90nm for the top

    Good video the top and bottom shock bolts sizes would be a tip to mention what size they are

      I have to change the bump stop on my rear shock,in this vidoe I can see the bump stop,I’ll have to remove the top mount,and remove the bump stop,fitting the nee bump stop,it goes on befor the top mount I’d assume,does it attach to the top mount?if not how does it sit on the rear shock please

      I have a Sri vxline,will my shocks be different to a standard insignia,as it sits slightly lower than a standard insignia

    What can I use to stop the shaft from turning as I don’t have a vice

      Hi, Vice grips would do, but i would use a cloth between the shaft and grips so the shift doesn't get damaged/scratched

    How did you tie down the upper screw. Mines just spinning.

      Hi, it's held by the vice, that's how I can use a socket, if not hold the top of the shocker with vice grips and use a spanner

      @@carsbikes9961 turns out wrong thread on the actual shock. Found is easy when I had the correct bolt.

    I did mine last year. Trust my Insignia to have self levelling shocks. £750 for the pair 😮

    Whay go whay from the solution ,vectra have , the salt on the road eat up the aluminium, bad way fore the aftermarked to make money of...🤬
