I have to change the bump stop on my rear shock,in this vidoe I can see the bump stop,I’ll have to remove the top mount, and remove the bump stop, fitting the nee bump stop,it goes on befor the top mount I’d assume, does it attach to the top mount?if not how does it sit on the rear shock please
didn't fancy putting some new bump stops on then
Cool did mine yesterday whats the washer at the bottom of the damper. I wasn't sure whether it had to be facing a certain way to keep toe alignment
With out having a vice,is there any other way of removing the top bracket without the centre spinning,
Looks like the rear subframe had its day
Nice video, what's about tightening torque?
Should be 150nm for bottom bolt and 90nm for the top
Good video the top and bottom shock bolts sizes would be a tip to mention what size they are
Good point Sean, cheers 👍

I have a Sri vxline, will my shocks be different to a standard insignia,as it sits slightly lower than a standard insignia
Great video 👍🏼 is it gas type or oil type? Which one is better for insignia?
Hi, Gas for Insignia
What can I use to stop the shaft from turning as I don’t have a vice
Hi, Vice grips would do, but i would use a cloth between the shaft and grips so the shift doesn't get damaged/scratched
How did you tie down the upper screw. Mines just spinning.
Hi, it's held by the vice, that's how I can use a socket, if not hold the top of the shocker with vice grips and use a spanner
@@carsbikes9961 turns out wrong thread on the actual shock. Found is easy when I had the correct bolt.
@@hal752 Glad to hear that 🙂
I did mine last year. Trust my Insignia to have self levelling shocks. £750 for the pair 😮
That's expensive :(
