Just cut my hair was like my butt I just cut 33 inches off to my ears and then I was gonna go pixie but it’s starting to fall out already I did get my eyebrows lips and eyeliner tattooed though before Chemo to help me get through it to feel a little prettier thank you for this video
45-year-old white single woman three college kids breast cancer BRCA1 gene positive carrier triple negative everybody in my family died of it only stage one second chemo treatment today feel great
Praying for you! I was 56 with one college kid and one college grad. I was dx’d TNBC-4/1/22; stage 1B with Ki-67 >90; bilateral mastectomy-5/2/22 and 16 cycles of ddAC-T. I couldn’t tolerate the two iv anti-nausea meds due to 24/7 migraine which could not be tolerated. I managed with zofran, decadron, and compazine. Developed hand and foot syndrome with AC and chemo rash with taxol so oncologist switched taxol to abraxane. Didn’t make a difference. Also could not tolerate the Neulasta OnPro, but did well until 12th cycle when I became neutropenic. Took one week break for chemo rash then later neutropenia. Reconstruction began with expanders 4/3/23 then implants 7/3/23. I will need at least one more surgery and tattoos then praying it’s behind me. Next month I see oncologist and we had discussed PET scan, but idk. Just have to stay positive and fight like a girl. I hope you have a great support system. If you ever have any questions, I would be honored to help. I will honestly be praying for you. 🙏💕 Oh and I have no genetic markers for cancer.
Here😅chemo brain 🥲 6mos hair growth, I just massage my scalp with aloe Vera and olive oil before I go shower. Thank you for inspiring us! Survivor here thank you Lord all Glory belong to God
16th cycle completed on 11/16/22 so I have 10 mths growth. Hairstylist cut once to shape then second visit she trimmed the back to prevent a “bad mullet” Praying you’re doing well.
Just shaved head yesterday. Best shampoo/wash now. You may have already said...thanks
Yes go to nursing school. I was older than you and was a much better student then in high school. You can do it!

I am using the cold cap. I have had one roubd of chemo so far. Do you think the cold cap (Digicap) works ?

When is best to cut out all hairs before chemo or after first dose
I've heard from dermatologists not to put menthol on your skin l, so you may want to look into that.. xx
