Love seeing how happy and honest this kid is. Glad he's been taught to love himself and un-apologetically play to his advantages in life. Hope when it comes time for surgery that he's found peace with it. That's a hard concept to grasp at his age and his reluctance is completely understandable. Thanks for sharing his story SBSK
I feel he likes being tall but does not like being overweight. His breathing is very labored at this point and could be a problem down the road. I applaud his confidence Never dim your shine because of others insecurities.
I worry puberty won't be able to do it's thing once he hits it as that can very well convert to estrogen from the extra fat cells so he'll just keep growing tall. Body needs testosterone to close the growth plates and that's at 18 to 21. He may well grow to be past 8ft tall. Think of Robert Wadlow except he was thinner.
@@DavFN123 His mom needs to get him on dampeners asap before he grows too tall and heavy. His knees could end up giving out as did with Igor Vovkovinskiy 7ft 8. Due to his size his heart could struggle to keep up which is another major risk they have to keep an eye on.

My son does NOT have any forms of gigantism, he just has really tall genes. I am 6’5” & dad is 6’2”. But my husband had an uncle that was 7’ tall. Our geneticist thinks Kota will be around 6’9-7’0 tall. He was a big baby too, born premature at 32 weeks & he was 6lbs 11oz & 19” long. My son is the sweetest kid, he gets treated like a teenager all the time, and when we tell people that he is only 10, they think we are lying. We’ve even been asked for his birth certificate when we went into an amusement park. It’s impossible for him to wear what other kids his age are wearing because he is sooo big. I worry about his shoe size getting too big too fast. He is already wearing a size 13 in men’s shoes. He also plays football & has a hard time being aggressive ❤

My cousin has a severe Cebral palsy she is happy also, but can be stressed about losing her family. She is 64 years old lives in Philadelphia hopefully soon with me.
His size is something that his intellect will have to grow into, I suppose. That's weird to say. I'm happy at how well he's handling the way he effects others around him. Hopefully, he does take into account that he's large enough to severely hurt another child. His 10 year old mind is developing like other 10 year old children from what I hear. God Bless him. He does not have the words yet to explain why he doesn't like his image. I get it somewhat. Everyone has a mental image of their body. When I gained a lot of weight that image didn't change a lot. He is so sweet and confident- kudos to his family for raising him to love himself. As someone with the opposite condition, I have dwarfism, it’s so cool seeing how people with gigantism perceive the world and what adaptations they need themselves. (I’m 3’5”, 104cm tall.)

Great kid! I hope he always stays this confident 🙂. I enjoyed the way the interviewer asked direct questions, but not in an intrusive or aggressive way 👍.
I'm 7'1.5, and a bodybuilder. It's true, man, you can do whatever you put your mind to. People used to put me down all the time because I had such a large frame to fill out, but I did. Don't get discouraged and just go for your dreams. That being said, I do want to give a warning, being 7 feet tall is not as fantastic as you would think. There are a lot of difficulties in everyday life that you and others don't account for. Think of everything you already struggle with and multiply it by 10x. Driving, flying, showers, toilet seats, chairs, clothing, hobbies, etc. just get that much more difficult. You will realize this once you hit around 6'6 or 6'8 depending on the shoes you wear. It becomes a whole different ball game when you can't just walk through doors. Also, mama, If you're reading this, I would really sit down and prepare him for when he starts meeting other people his height or taller in sports. I can tell you right now, the uniqueness being stripped away can hit really hard sometimes.
Wish I were that big I'm only 5"6. But I was tall when I was 12 about 5"5 and stopped growing I don't know why. I feel like an adult trapped inside a preschool body.
Such beautiful confidence!! Bless his mom for birthing him😱 and also for being so proud and encouraging and raising him to have confidence and being proud of his height!! 🥰

I was an extremely small baby being born in the UK premature at just over 6 months back in 1963 when my mother was dying due to her kidneys failing. I was induced not expected to survive, I was in an incubator for about 4 months but my mother being relieved of my body ensured her kidneys were able to work again. I was 3 lb and remained quite small being just over 5 ft at 15 years old. My shoe size was UK 12. I stopped growing at 19 when I reached 6 ft 4" with shoe size UK 14. My father's brother all his family were over six foot His daughter was 6 ft 1. His sons were 6ft 2", 6ft 4" and 6 ft 8" Tallest in my class was a boy 6ft 9" at 17 years of age.
It just goes to show you.. it is not over until… it’s over. Starting earlier in life at such a light weight and exceeding at the outcome. A lot of premature babies tend to lean towards smaller in size along with on going issues as they age, according to medical information. Maybe your genes outweighed the results since you have a predisposed indication of taller heights in your family origin? Quite a feat… as long as people get to have a relatively healthy life - is all one can ask for. Glad that you mother and yourself defied the odds. 😊

I'm fully grown now at just over 6'. As a girl it was very difficult, especially because I wasn't allowed to play sports. I'm much more comfortable in my skin now. I love his enthusiasm! Stay sweet!
Thanks for mentioning that bc my daughter has had such a hard time that I about cried watching this. I'm super happy for him and am certain he's going to do amazing things, but it just made me so sad for the girls who just dont get to have a great experience w it💔 its been quite hard socially, medically, emotionally, physically etc. Anyway, wishing you all the best on your journey!💓
You Weren't allowed to play sports??? Girl what? That doesn't make any sense. It always works vice-versa. Explain why.
Why couldn't you play sports?

26 inches at birth? That's incredible. He owes his mum a coffee when he starts working.
Or the copay for bladder surgery 😭
My third daughter was 9 lbs 3 oz. & 24.6 inches long but she's at a common height now. I've always wondered why.
That must have been a difficult birth
I wonder why he has to wait for the surgery?

Dude you are TOTALLY righteous! You’ll go far in whatever you choose to do. Keep challenging the norm man because the norm is the last place you want to be 🤙🏻
Yes! Love this! -Jases mom
Eat well and start running or swimming as soon as possible! Takes hard work to beat Lebron, and it starts young like him. Let’s see it kid, I believe in you
Running at that size and pre-puberty is not a good idea - his knees would not hold up. But swimming would be great for him.
Jases mom here! Thank you for what you said!

i heard ppl with this condition dont live for long, i hope this guy lives for a long time cause his confidence and his personality gave me big respect 💯💯
я думаю это вполне возможно, но стоит снизить нагрузку на организм немного похудев.
one of my older brothers friends had the same condition, he had shoe size 52 as a 13 year old, my brother has large feet for being normal size (47) but 52 is something else. Anyway my brother is tuirning 42 this summer and i dont think his friend Marcus is alive anymore
See indias great khali
well many people with gigantism have it because of a brain tumor wich is the cause of not living for long
He can start by buying a treadmill, or an elliptical.

Wat a fantastic attitude kiddo...be better. God bless you.
@@phoenixeagle462 He won't be able to play basketball if he doesn't get growth dampeners causes hes gonna have problems
@@DavFN123 His mom needs to get him on dampeners asap before he grows too tall and heavy. His knees could end up giving out as did with Igor Vovkovinskiy 7ft 8. Due to his size his heart could struggle to keep up which is another major risk they have to keep an eye on.
ur wrong, estrogen closes growth plates. thats why women are shorter...@@phoenixeagle462

As a mother to a 10 yr old who is 6’ tall & 250lbs with Autism & a very rare chromosomal deletion & duplication, I completely understand this boy’s situation 🩷 gentle giant for sure ❤ what a sweetheart ❤
@christycookey6500 is it the rare chromosomal deletion & duplication that led to his height? Are you and dad tall?

Love your channel. I'm a schizoaffective man living in Texas. Your interviews with Daniel and your wife were really eye opening for me. I never really looked into people with similar disorders.
I love how much he loves himself and his mothers encouragement and love for him is so sweet

My father's brother all his family were over six foot
His daughter was 6 ft 1.
His sons were 6ft 2", 6ft 4" and 6 ft 8"
Tallest in my class was a boy 6ft 9" at 17 years of age.
Blessings, good health and good luck for Jase in his life
That’s awesome. I had a 6’3 friend when I was 12. He didn’t like basketball, I think it’s so cool jace does.
