I'm furious at all the un-educated people in the comments who are commenting on his weight. Do some research on pituitary tumours before just assuming he's over eating. Some of these comments are so incredibly cruel. Weight gain is a very common side effect of a pituitary tumour due to the huge changes in hormones. I lost some fat but I gained some muscle over that 2 year period. Last year I was 240. I’ve pretty much gained about +10lbs of muscle each year. This might slow down. When I was 11, I had about 35% body fat. Now at 13, I have around 29% body fat. In the future, I’d like to get down to 20% body fat. I could probably get away with being 200lbs and not get bullied anymore.

My fiancé has this and due to his parents he got morbidly obesed as a child and at the age of 25 he changed his lifestyle and lost over 80kg. So this lady is at fault for his extreme weight.
It’s good that he will eventually be getting surgery to stop his growth since its really not good to be so tall, and so big. Your heart and organs cannot handle such gigantic bodies and so it causes your death way sooner then you think. If he never gets the surgery he could be like 7’8
It frustrates me how quick people are to make assumptions about what this kid needs, and how his mother must be doing based on their own lack of knowledge. For some reason people on the internet think they’re experts on things they know nothing about. I assure you, you eat more than I do. Yes, I’m overweight now but it has zero to do with what I eat. I eat less than a toddler. Unfortunately medications I have to take cause excessive weight gain. Don’t speak about things you know nothing about.
@@jillwatkins78 I feel you! I have PCOS and it's been a lifelong struggle to lose weight despite eating basically nothing.
@@jillwatkins78 If your meds cause excessive weight gain, then scientists would be rushing to formulate a version of them to distribute to the 690 million starving people on this planet who are literally skin and bones. Though meds can cause weight gain, this is like only 20-40 lbs. Not 100 lbs of excess weight. This all has nothing to do with "bullying a child." Do some research on pituitary tumours before just assuming he's over eating. Some of these comments are so incredibly cruel.
Weight gain is a very common side effect of a pituitary tumour due to the huge changes in hormones. It can also cause Cushings Disease, which causes weight gain. Medications he might be on to help his condition may also be causing weight gain. You don't know so dont be so cruel and quick to judge.

A 10 year old can not make a decision if he should have the operation,it's the parents decision. Of course he has to have it, it's about quality of life and life expectancy
That’s right. He will have it. It’s just very difficult for him to talk about.
Exactly quality, not quantity. She talking about he'll only live till 40. Yes a 10yr old boy may not be able to make the decision YET but they should wait till he can on his own not his mother. We can’t control everything in our life, but we can control what we put in our bodies.

Need the surgery ASAP, this disorder will mess him up big time. The quicker they can do it the less issues he will have. His parents shouldn't listen to what the boy wants and just force the surgery. If he wants to live a normal life he should get it done before puberty. Maybe they should show him what others who have this disorder have had to go through.

@@jillwatkins78 I've yet to come upon a MEDICAL explanation for why the surgery must be delayed three or four years for a condition that's ALREADY damaging his organs. Surgery through the nose to remove a pit tumor has already been done on younger patients. Another three years of saturating the organs with growth hormone will cause even MORE irreversible damage. If we're all wrong about some of these comments, then why hasn't the video and articles spent one lousy paragraph giving a MEDICAL reason, rather than "Jayson doesn't want the surgery," for delaying the surgery? Karan Singh an Indian who was 6 "6 at just 8😂😂 , also he do not grew that much because of any tumor but because of his genetic

Karan Singh uses Indian measurements meaning he’s actually 3’ 3”

So 73.5 inches is 6,1.5 but still extremely tall
For his age maybe, but for a man 6'1.5" is just quite tall, nothing exceptional.
Jase looks like hes 17 yrs old because of his height and appearance as a giant ( not trying to be rude ) . I was 5'0 at 10 yrs old in 2017 now I'm 5'10 but weigh obese on the BMI but obviously i don't look overweight but more solid
Once I was 5’3 at 11 (and about 200lbs) and I was on the obese side and people knew it because my stomach was sticking out. Now I’m 5’9.5 at 13 (and about 240lbs.) I saw pictures of my friends at 10 years old and they had chubby cheeks like I did at 11. Now, my double chin is less noticeable.

You have zero knowledge as to what this condition is.
@@Analoguebubblebath89 BIGNASTY'S advice can be found in any doggone pamphlet. A med degree is not required to understand basic nutrition and the laws of thermodynamics (calories in vs. calories out). I've known medical doctors and they told me that they only got like three hours of basic nutrition classes in 3,500 hours of medical classes, and once out of med school, they get zero nutrition/diet/weight loss training on their internships and rounds. The only time they dig deep into weight loss medicine is if they choose a residency in obesity medicine or bariatric medicine.

School bullies have to check in with him😂
It’s good that he will eventually be getting surgery to stop his growth since its really not good to be so tall, and so big. Your heart and organs cannot handle such gigantic bodies and so it causes your death way sooner then you think. If he never gets the surgery he could be like 7’8
1:10 and the average height for a 10-year-old boy in the US is only 4'8.5"!
It frustrates me how quick people are to make assumptions about what this kid needs, and how his mother must be doing based on their own lack of knowledge. For some reason people on the internet think they’re experts on things they know nothing about. Let’s assume this mother knows best because she’s speaking with Dr’s about her son’s condition, and we are not. Unless you want to pretend you’re an expert on gigantism.
