one thing you could note about the onyx tears- you could always just go buy them from the guy in gloomrot. 2 of them at 200 coin each is a pretty good deal, since you don’t need to farm crystals or power cores, just gold and some silver/iron. there’s also that all the 83 bosses +simon/shards have a chance to drop tears, so i normally just farm horror -> terrorclaw -> valencia -> styx in a loop, and end up with massive piles of spell gems and quite a few onyx tears, along with the fact that terrorclaw drops gold jewelry, with all of them having a very low chance to drop a legendary or artifact
Yep, this is something I want to mess around with more, especially on 2x. Easy to get giant amounts of goldsun early, and I want to mess around to see if I can farm up something early, like a whip that can be made right after killing simon

The L80 bosses drop them as well. Azariel dropped Onyx Tear for me like 3 times in a row, when I was doing my 100% scholar loops.
At 40min of video, you said the last two are more for pve, what is that referring to?
Passives. We were talking specifically about the last 2 passives in the third tier. They are not really something to bank on for PvP.
