ugh i get a new laptop with windows 11 in it, and it forces you to use a microsoft account, 1 week later windows 11 breaks and sends me to automatic repair, but windows cant be repaired because C: drive cant be accessed, and unfortunately none of these steps worked and microsoft wants me to wait 30 days to access the security mail.
i swear windows and microsoft is the worst

If you don’t want your files, follow this tutorial. No need to watch the whole video and waste your time. Just reinstall windows. If you want to get hold of old files, recover it from Microsoft account.

for the recovery key go to your devices in Microsoft account using your phone or tablet , a recovery key will be there.
Nothing worked for me everything was blocked by bitlocker and I don’t have a boot drive thingy
Easy method is
1) press esc
2)click skip the drive
3)uef settings
4)search for security boot and turn it on

DONT WASTE 18 MINUTES WATCHING THIS!!! It comes down to this: Disable secure boot and if that does not work, boot from a USB and reinstall windows. Just delete all partitions. Get ready to also change your HDD partition from GPT to MBR or the other way around. This sometimes does happen.

@I-Masih = AFTER you clicked out of Bios and the “windows setup” popup window appeared, is that bc you had the usb drive in. You never did explain how it just pops up. I don’t have a usb drive to plug in, Therefore, NO windows setup window popped up on my screen. CAN YOU PLEASE EXPLAIN how to get that to appear on my laptop screen ? If you LOOK at your Transcript its at the Time Stamp between 12:50 - 12:59 is where I need help ???

It'll not work. If anyone wants to get the code, then login your Microsoft account with any browser the same account which is logged in your pc. There you'll find it.

This shows BitLocker is unsafe because if someone forgets the recovery key and the original BitLocker password they have to go to a messy process which is time taking . So I luckily decrypted my C: drive before it is too late.

To anyone who who randomly had to provide an Bitocker key, but did not locked it by yourself, the last option 10:53 (removing everything manually and using a USB Flashdrive access it by downloading Windows 10) works! The thing is that you will lose everything, but you can still fix your computer on your own instead of sending it to the repair shop charging you the same result (empty but working PC).
i tried but its showing a "there was a problem resetting your PC" and i cant seem to get around it

when i try to reinstall windows using a usb and delete all it says it "cant find any drives" when I try to keep everything it says "you need to be logged in to do this"

If none of the options work, you can connect the bitlocked drive (in this video the e: drive) to your MAC COMPUTER as an external drive…this will make the contents of the drive visible and you can save the contents before you format the drive.

Correct me if I am wrong, I think if you don't have the key or password, it means all your data will be lost. nothing to maintain data if you miss the key and pass.
Yes if u dont have the key u will loose all the data which are bit locker enabled.

this did not work for me as i have important data got it done at store not work only becouse on winows 11 and restore reset opptions are removed on win 11 tryd on old win 10 system tho and it worked perfectly so i gave that to yonger bro and the smile on his face way amazing so thanks for that
