These planet coaster videos have always elicited a very specific feeling for me. I think it's just a mix of all the different elements, from the cinematic shots to the choice of music, to having something to listen to and actually learn a lot from, to the detail that - at a certain point - seems to disappear into the rest of the park while still enhancing it. I really think there's a lot to get from these videos, and I'm definetely really happy that you're still down for making more of them.
Please do more Planet Coaster college. I am trying to learn more about how to build roller coaster's better. I used to watch your coaster colleges over and over again. Also thanks for helping me make better roller coasters for my parks :)
I was like “huh, I haven’t watched Silvarret in a while, his voice sounds different than I remember” then I realized I was expecting Marcel Vos’s voice. smdh my head 🤦♂️
The Onride just remindet me of the "Rothaarblitz". A self-propelled coaster with a lot of hops and turns. It aimed at an audience of 9-15 year olds, wich I did fit quite nice at the time back then. It got removed from the park in 2007. And now I am watching this vid with a tear in my eyes and cant even put my finger to "why" exactly. Thank you. F.
Thats the thing with you Silv', even when your'e not trying as hard as you can, nor being as creative as you can be, you always create something beautiful. Your simple creations (like this one) always seem to feel like they have a place in anyone's park. I don't know If I can think of anyother word but to describe this little coaster as "whimsical," its just such a fun little coaster that reminds me of the ones at highway side parks here in Usa. Its a very well done attraction and deserves as much love as your other attractions. Well done!
I was able to ride kentucky flyer 5 times in about 40 minutes a couple weeks ago. It's a great little coaster. That tiny lift hill is deceiving for the action the ride packs in. Gravity Group really has a wonderful place in the coaster world.
Massively agree with the lust for mini projects right now. I'm 2 years deep into a park I've been working on since the first MagRides pack. It takes me 20 minutes to load, I sit there with 9 FPS. I have such a huge desire to just churn out a tonne of mini projects of a single coaster/area and play around. I just feel like i'm cheating on my main park every time I try to do that. Soon... I hope. More of these please! Loved it!
These videos completely calm me down and I find myself in a theme park and rollercoaster bubble where I enjoy every minute of it. From you rambling about theme parks to the more detailed explanations about the theory behind it all and ending with beautiful cinamatic shots these videos are to me in perfect balance. It has been a while since I caught myself smiling about the fact that a 30 min video felt like 10 and I loved it. Great work and I wish you all the best with your thesis!
This coaster is so adorable. It gives off such a wholesome, small-park vibe, something like Holiday World used to. I could 100% see this in a park like KY Kingdom. You're inspiring me to install the game now, but I don't want my productivity for classes to die 😂
Grona Lund has always fascinated me with just how compact it is, and it’s one park I really hope to visit if I ever get the chance to head over to Europe. As much as I love the giant monolithic coasters we have here in the US, there’s rarely a lot of inter-coaster interaction; so many parks here have so much land that they’ve never really needed to build rides over or into other rides. It’s just such a unique experience that most large-scale parks don’t always have. That said, I absolutely love what you’ve done here! I haven’t personally been on one of these Gravity Group family coasters yet, but they look and sound amazing, and this design here looks like no exception! Love your content, man!
Silvarret, you and the other Planet Coaster creators have inspired me to take this game on, I love any game that has an editor, and this game certainly has a very good one, although it could possibly do with more vegetation IMO. I joined this community only recently, but since joining I have been really busy trying to learn the editor. I love creating in the sandbox, and the creations that you and others have done have been simply jaw-dropping and amazing. Your attention to detail with your buildings and scenery are outstanding and I really appreciate your tutorials and videos. I hope to actually get Planet Coaster 2 when and if it gets released. Keep up the great work and amazing creations.
@@Silvarret NGL I waited until HD 60fps was available lol. Great as always, btw those L-shaped wall pieces are designed for use on coaster stations, when built together and paired with the r-shaped walls the square they form is the exact size of the track entrance/exit of the station.
The return of the Planet Coaster king! Always enjoy watching your videos - it's so relaxing. Must admit I got overly excited hearing you talk about Gröna Lund as a swede who ususally visits the park at least once a year. I'm looking forward to seeing how the new coaster turns out and fits into the park.
Wow, Silv is back on planco! Truely amazing build. the level of detail for a "small side project" is amazing. That whole coaster experience is beautiful. I cant wait to see more of your planco projects. P.S. good luck with school :)
cute coaster, love the simple station buildings. a couple of the banks felt like they chucked you in a little early, but i think the this style of coaster often does that so good stuff :D
I'm glad you;re back Silv... if for nothing else other than the fact that I get an influx of views on my channel off the back of people watching yours! haha It goes without saying that I binge watch your PlanCo stuff when it comes out...
I only just got a computer during quarantine that can run planet coaster, so it's nice to see some videos from you again as I start the daunting task of learning of to play lol
Thanks for the video. I always learn so much from you and your compadres, like DeLadysigner. Also, thanks for putting this coaster on Steam Workshop, so I can subscribe to it.
If you like really compact coasters that do a lot with a very tiny amount of space, Lost Coaster of Superstition Mountain would be right up your alley.
I love videos like this, I know it sounds cringe but I’m going through a really hard time in my life getting my braces in and these are my favourite videos, would love to see more!
First half of the layout is very reminiscent of Timber which is in my home park near Lyon. I feel like it's missing its signature elements : weird overbanks that amplifie direction changes. Timber has for example a straight line with 3 camelbacks banked left, right, and left into a helix to the right.
Love it, Silv! Excited to see you go for a Gravity Group style coaster and give us something different. You mentioned chatting in Discord about GG coasters and watching povs, did you ever check out the most insane compact coaster Gravity Group ever made, Boardwalk Bullet? Now THAT'S a coaster that would be insane to recreate in PlanCo!
Best compact gravity group coasters would have to be for me are boardwalk bullet and switchback. Would love to see you try and make a theme park like the one in Sweden you mentioned
I think those half-walls you talk about at about 20:20 are used for the entrance and exit on stations for the coaster track. you put them with the "full wall" part under the track, and the half wall part to each side
This coaster reminds me of Balder, in Liseberg, Göteborg Sweden. I have ridden twister in Stockholm grönalund, as well as Balder, but balder is much older and more fun.
Dear Mr. Silv. You are one of the best things on TH-cam! :) Which is why I ask you: Theme parks: in the US and Europe (and other continents). Who survives the pandemic?
(Delete park) When you spend your entire pandemic to date building a full Planet Coaster park and it gets blown out of the water by a Silvarett side project single coaster.....LOL. Great video, as always sir.
Hi Silvarret, I love it if you could create an original inverted coaster similar to Nemesis at Alton Towers! Set yourself some height limits so you'll have to do some terraforming to create the extra height!
Personally, I feel Oscar's Wacky Taxi, Roar-a-saurus, Wooden Warrior, and Kentucky Flyer are on a different level from Twister and Timber. The first 3 are signature coasters of parks aimed at a kids/young families and Kentucky Flyer fills a gap between their junior coaster and their classic woodie and Chance Hyper GTX (even though their RMC and Hyper-GTX are treated as a 1-2 punch). Twister and Timber are more supporting coasters, with Mystic and Monster being the parks signature rides-even though they are still top 2 or 3 in the park.
Hey silverett, if you do watch the marble league, then what’s your opinion of the O’rangers, Savage Speeders, Minty Maniacs and Midnight Wisps (I’m a fan of all these teams)?
Haha, this comment is right up my alley. I watch the videos all the time and even some of the premieres. Big Hazers fan here, I'm all for choosing the team whose marbles have the coolest design in your opinion. O'rangers are as basic as it gets, and although I love their cheer, I'm kind of happy they last minute didn't win the league, out of spite. The rest I don't feel very strongly about, but they're good teams generally. Shoutout to the Oceanics for sucking at every water event ever.

lool, this conversation about micro parks, while i'm working on a build inspired by Hanayashik. What good timing.
These half-wall elements are good to put them on the entrence and exit of the stations, as they would just fit around the tracks of the coasters. :D
