Definitely use shoe trees for the Jordaans to minimize creasing, and nourish regularly with Saphir Creme Universelle or Renovaeur. That will restore them and keep them in great condition. You can choose a neutral or pigmented Saphir polish to keep them nicely shined. Men who wear bespoke shoes take these steps to care for their footwear, but women are rarely taught to do this.

The Lucy Space I'm glad that was helpful! 😊 I have a large collection of Ferragamo and Gucci loafers and I've recently started learning about how to care for them properly. Kirby Allison's channel has been very useful for learning proper shoe care. I stuff my pointy toe and ballet flats with tissue paper to protect against creasing.

True ! I took my shoes to the "shoe man" (idk the name in English sorry) for the first time to change some pieces, my 10yo heels looks brand new now, I don't have to change them, I'm really happy for that money saving :)

My shoes always stay nice on the outside but the interior linings fall apart. Any suggestions? I’ve tried wearing insoles but that does nothing for the rest of the linings.

If it helps, I am a US size 7 (37) and I am 37.5 in Valentino (they fit perfectly!). She said she wore 36 European, and 36.5 for Valentino. So it seems to be consistent with my experience :)
