You missed wedges. I love them and I think there's nothing more comfortable than wedges. They add a few inches to your height and it's so easy to walk in them.

The Tory Burch sandals are $228. You have them in two colors. Ugh! We definitely don’t share a shoe budget. I love your style, so I’ll be looking for affordable versions of all of these. Keep the great videos coming!
they might be hanging around at local consignment shops. I've seen a quality pair of Sam Edelmans at a consignment store for $20, blahniks at another high end secondhand store for $80, Stuart Weitzmans sold on Poshmark and Ebay for as little as $30 New in box.

Lol, most of my dress shoes are from Nordstrom. Of course, I got them over a few years and all on sale but I buy from there because they’re higher quality and usually more comfortable. I would never buy Gucci though; too expensive.

So, I always watch your videos without fail. It never ceases to crack me up though how much I listen to you yet don't follow your instructions. My shoes consist of one pair of loafers, flip flops, heels I've worn to weddings, ankle boots and running shoes. I suppose at some point I'll expand. 😂

My tactic is to shop secondhand and consignment stores. I've found new in box designer shoes (mostly Stuart Weitzman and Ferragamo) for as little as $30 on poshmark and ebay.

I have some brand new shoes that weren't for me so we (my 5) started selling shoes online instead of filling up the land fills.😁 You see YOU CAN find name brand shoes you can afford i.e. Tory Burch. 😊You just have to look.🤗😊🦋🐛 Love Nordstrom btw and this video was awesome!!🤗
Ok I have a question. I love pumps but when I buy them in my size they fall off my foot after awhile. Is it that you are suppost to go down a size or a half a size. My foot gets sweaty and it slides forward. I try quit a bit of things but my foot still slides. what is the best on wearing pumps?

I have been wearing high heels for so many years, I can run down the stairs or walk on ice. But in flats I often land on my face. I lift my foot, scuff the bottom of my shoe and trip. I always hear "how do you walk in those things (heels)?", but just look straight ahead and keep good posture.
The Frances Loafer is a definite staple!

Some of my recommendations would be:
Prada (flats, heels, boots...any shoe is well made, comfortable and stylish)
Aquatalia for weatherproof boots/booties
Van Eli for boots that are nice and mostly comfortable and aren’t cheap but they are very reasonable for stylish leather boots
Bernardo for their classic Miami sandals
And Bonus- UGG slippers

I LOVE Jeffrey Campbell boots. I also have a pair of chelsea and full-length hunter boots and they're great quality.
Sadly, the Tory Burch sandals has absolutely no support and I ended up with plantar fasciitis. I agree about Sam Edelman- super comfy.

Great info. I'm so glad you added in your last tip about a luxury shoe. I am learning the value behind paying extra money for quality. I love heels and would have to bring a fat with me EVERY time I went out with a heel. I finally broke down and paid $$$ for a pair and do not regret it. They are the highest heel I have, stiletto even, and yet so comfortable I will never need a back up shoe again.
The #1 way to make my size 11 feet look bigger is a pointy toe flat. Maybe rounded toes look cheaper, but you gotta think about flattering as well.
I'm with you on the boots, 😁 I just luuurve them so much, I have 11 pairs! I'm the last person out of them and the first one back into them even though I live in a hot country 😏 I love pointed shoes but I'm 176cm tall and have big feet EU 43 so pointed shoes and flat shoes make them look bigger, so I mostly wear heels which then make me super tall (which also makes you slimmer-bonus!) and if not boots then sandals. I own one pair of (hated) trainers for sports only, same reason; big feet 😕 and flip flops for the beach/pool. I'd just rather wear boots, always! Btw love your channel x

Been waiting for this one! I bought the Sam Edelman loafers like your white ones (with all the studs) only in black and wore the heck out of them this winter!! I love them!! I live in Florida and now it’s time to summer it up a bit. 😁🌞🌞.
I’m so happy that the chunky heel is making a comeback!!! They were popular in the late 90’s and early 2000’s then it switched over to all stiletto type heels. I used to wear stilettos all the time! And tall ones at that..(I’m vertically challenged lol)
I wore all different types too as long as they had at least a 4 inch heel. I usually got 5” ones though. I wore heels like that for many years, even during the winter months (and I live in upstate ny..way upstate! Lol) I hated being so short and I’ve always loved shoes so that’s what I wore. I became very good at walking and running in heels. People would get so amazed at how easy I made it look. Lol.
Sadly, that ended several years ago....with aging and other issues, heels, well stilettos mainly, just don’t work for me anymore. I switched to wedges for a while during the warmer months cuz they can be so much easier. But sometimes they’re just too much for me and my style has been changing lately. So that’s why I’m super happy about the block/chunky heel being back in style!!! Now I can start wearing some heels again and my feet and body won’t suffer from them! LOL

3:45. I have tons of those types of sandal heels (@ 3:45) with the strap over the toes and the chunky (or stiletto) heel with the ankle buckle strap like that. They have got to be my most uncomfortable shoes though, but they are so versatile.

Loafers are a no-go for me, they look too manly, old-fashioned, and remind me of pioneer days. My go-to flats are black, pointed toe, and strappy.
Also, please do not wear the same workout sneakers as every day shoes. Nasty!
I'm in loooove with the strappy, nude, and PVC options. I have most of what you suggest tbh lol.
My favorites are also brightly colored strappy heels that make simple outfits pop. I'm also a huge bootie fan.

Jan Griffiths here. I splurged. I got a pair of Anthony Wang hidden platform sneakers and a pair of his hidden platform sandals. Both are so comfortable, and are in crazy colorblock design. They are for going out only, and I get so many compliments on them. The only other designer pair I have is a pair of black Calvin Klein platform sandals. I don't go in for flats at all, but do have a couple pairs of boots---one pair ankle boots, and my (real) English riding boots. My flats of choice are high and low top Converse Chuck Taylor.

I searched your channel and could not find a video on this topic, but I think it would be really cool if you made a video on must have basic accessories or must have basic jewelry pieces. I definitely want to build my collection around basics, but I always get so overwhelmed at the store that I don't end up buying anything or I do and find that I barely wear it because it doesn't actually pair that well with my things.
