    Lots of information. Can you mount two different transducers next to each other.

      If you are talking about having a backup ready then yes. I have that in Elixir. If one fails all I have to do is unplug it from my chart plotter and plug in the other one.
      If you are talking about running both at the same time then no. Think of a transducer kind of like an antenna. It just sends and receives signals. Most of them work on the same frequencies so they would both receive the signals they sent and the signal the other sent. Although new technology sonar is above my head, in its simplest form sonar works by computing how long it takes the signal to go to the bottom and come back up. Half the received signals would be correct but the other half (sent by the other transducer) would be incorrect as it would not know when it was sent. Additionally, it would receive twice as many returns as it transmitted so it would be confused.
