hello, what about installation on sailboats? where is the best zone for placing the transducer?

I'm getting a sea chaser 24HFC which has a stepped hull can you give me the model for a high frequency and an active 3-1 for the simrad thx

what is the typical life span of the B60 transducer? mine failed after 2.5 years...

Hola tengo un transducer 525T-BSD como puedo instalarlo en un bote inflable tipo sodiak.
Lo que tengo que indicar es que la Kia del bote también es inflable.

You're missing details for a Catamaran Powerboat. Where do you put one that's a through hull Transducer?

Hi, Cat hulls are tough and often the only solution is an In-hull model shooting through the fiberglass. It works well as long as the fiberglass in that location is solid (no air).

What if i have like a full keel running down the center of my hull? Not as deep as on sailboats but still. Will it cause any turbulence with a regular mount on a starboard side?

It shouldn't cause turbulence if there is some distance between the transducer and the keel. Be mindful that if you have wide-beam transducer and a deep keep, there could be side-lobe reflection from the keel. Consult with an installer that's dealt with such scenarios.

I’m considering putting a long range livescope under my Allison 21 xb. . Any suggestions?

I own a TM275LH... what’s the frequency to use when running at speed? I lose bottom at about 150ft running at 20kts

The reason you are losing bottom has more to do with air getting by the face of the transducer which disrupts the signal. If this constantly happens at about the same speed, its 100% bubbles. Lower the transducer a bit to get the face of the transducer into air-free water.
