As a Londoner working with a lot of these clientele, London does a good job of having these very nice secluded pockets that help keep traffic down for these luxury homes
It serves a purpose, it's to keep the large amount of drug users from finding their way in these nicer areas. I see suburbs closer to downtown that aren't necessarily secluded. Many drug addicts walk by those areas at night, they will steal packages, try to open cars and garages, and check your garbages. If your home looks nicer for the area, better believe you will have drug addicts in your property!
you should check out this house build recently in London at Sherwood forest area, looks out of this world..not sure the street i think its Friars or Doncaster..very unique.wonder if they are selling
Absoulutly the most beautiful area in all of London with extremely family friendly people probably the safest area in London and highly sought after due to homes rarely coming up for sale and when they do there sold at a premium due to the great enviroment and surrounding of parks, golf, skiing, and great amenties! Best London has to offer❤
Hey Ryan CherryGrove estates is my favourite street. My wife & I live in Talbot Village & we drive up & down that street all the time daydreaming maybe 1-day. That 1 you said was “The Crown Jewel” looks like a banquet hall. It’s the Last One we would choose. Anyways good lookin out.

Almost every major city in Ontario has these sort of huge houses, plus those mansions around the county and farm roads, plus the ones really deep into the woods. It's really interesting; on one side you have drug problems, unemployment, inflation going up; on the other side you have really wealthy people, probably generational wealth in most cases I'd imagine. I would really love to know more about the socio-economic dynamics of this province and Canada in general.
You should do a tour of Lucan. I built a brand new house on Beech Street in 2017 for $272k (1400 square feet). I sold it in 2022 for $820k. There are entire subdivisions of homes selling for over a million dollars there. Benefit is that it’s a mere 15 minutes from Masonville.
Beautiful home's,but you pay for it all your dear Life, last day you finish paying for this homes, the next day you are dead , that's how the system of mortgage works, period.
I always wondered how there were this many people with such high paying jobs in London. Im guessing doctors, vets, lawyers, dentists, business owners, trust fund people, elderly...
If I had that kind of money I wouldn't be sandwiched in beside and between other houses in a sub-division. I'd be out in the country with a sizeable house with plenty of land around me.

nice houses but not a fan of the cut and paste mansion neighborhoods. they all sit on like 1 acre.. why not get a place in the country side that's maybe 500 sqft smaller but you have more privacy and land.
These "nice" houses man... Just mc mansions with no soul. Crappy building materials, horrible styling (including finishes)-- it's just designed to appeal to idiots with money. How do I know? These are not beautiful, they're just big and expensive with no land/acreage, which is more of a commentary about the times we live in.
Do you think you can get some drone footage on 2199 Cow Path Road, Thames Centre? This is unknown palace in SW Ontario. It's just the approximate address, but if you Google SATELLITE view, you can see the home and surrounding from above.

not bad
That house on Cowpath rd in Dorchester is massive. You should do a video on that house
I’ve seen that one..race track in the back.. grew up with the kids that lived near there and they were welcome to come drive go carts on it when ever
i delivered packages to that house. the owner was nice and let me drive around the track. the lakes at the front are absolutely beautiful.
I flew over Dorchester about a month ago on my ultralight and noticed the go-kart track behind that house. That's wild, lol.

I'd say a lot of times, people with these extremely massive homes don't have a mortgage. They're just filthy rich.
The alternative is paying someone else's mortgage. At least if you buy, when you sell, you've made a profit.
