- It was time for me to move to a Filipino home in the mountains...
Welcome to Ifugao! The final Province in Cordilleras I had yet to explore on my solo scooter adventure. This video is just a raw and beautiful look at driving across to Ifugao from Mountain Province. The rice fields in full green were INCREDIBLE.
I ended up at Kiangan Viewpoint Homestay, where I made my way to a place called Asipulo.
Nothing special in this video... just another real beautiful experience driving alone in the Cordilleras!

I decided to cut this video at Apo Gayyon... I want the video to focus on her (next one). I hope it was okay I just shared my journey across to Ifugao. Raw and Real. Was so happy to end up at Kiangan View Homestay! Wait till you see the morning views I get!

The greeneries we see, the beaches, waterfalls, historical places etc is what makes our country beautiful. Sad we don't get to have modernized landmarks and iconical places for tourists to visit. We're just dominated by malls.

There's no direct word for hello but ifugao people do it in different forms 😁 example: Maphod an argom - Nice day to you; daanay pangayam - where are you going?; Mala u kami pe- we are passing by (use when passing by) or instead of saying hello people say good morning - maphod an nanong mo(lagawe) and etc....😁
I remember in the province we greet people either "maayong buntag" (good morning) for example or "labay lang mi" (we are passing by) your comment made me realize that even in other places that's how people greet other people in the Philippines.

We used to pass the road you have taken all the way from Bontoc to Banaue then to Lagawe back in my younger days when going to our hometown in Nueva Vizcaya from Sagada, our mother hometown. The road was rough/not cemented those days, and the 2-3 hours bus ride from Bontoc to Banaue is very tiring so I always don't enjoy those travel days... but through this video, you almost made me feel to enjoy the travel along with the views that you pass by. Thank you Kulas for the refreshing journey with you always!
The Banaue Rice Terraces are really wonderful. But best to see them raw to appreciate much. Thank you kulas for showing the beauty of ifugao.

We may have the same Region, Traditions and Culture but IGOROTS AND IFUGOAS are not the same. Igorots are from Baguio and Ifugaos are from Ifugao.

I appreciate the drone vista every time, it’s like stepping back to look at Van Gogh’s painting in a museum to appreciate its beauty. In reality it’s when I appreciate the minute details, like the wild edible vegetables we can get along the trails or fishes(panilang) in the river for sinuhsuh.

the road @ 3:27 is the way going to barlig where my great grandmother came from, it is also a beautiful place and people are also hard working.
