this is a place of study for sorcerers, since here the barrier within worlds is damaged and allows wraith to phase through endlessly. so if you kill one it just pop up back. theres a portal to quickly exit powered by 2 crystals. also, on the wall theres an easter egg. the wall itself can be observed with photo mode or while your powered up yrden is up. the wall is made of another material and seemed fused to the castle and a simbol is painted on it, from cyberpunk 2077 lore. it arrived here during the conjunction of the sphere.

Fully upgrade Aard can make fighting those Wraiths easier (though 2 or 3 of them are unkillable)... after you power up 2 crystals, a portal will open in the next room and teleport you to the top of the tower (with a chest loot)
There's another way to get inside the tower. The edge of the map is very close so you just wander too far out and with some luck, you'll get teleported right on the roof.
I came across those levers but only 2, the Cyclops tower and the Vywern tower, was curious about them too but didn’t expect to find another one at all. I will definitely try the puzzles

I'm digressing but this reminds me of the scenario in old Doom (maybe?) when my brother entered an elevator or platform only to go down to a completely dark room and be besieged by endless monsters. He could never live past that level as he knew no cheats or tricks.
These things are never added out of boredom. It´s a reward for curious players willing to EXPLORE EVERYTHING. Witcher as a whole is a masterpiece classic, which will never ever happen again.

"And nine rings were gifted to the race of men, who, above all else, desire power". There are 8 specters in this spot, but there is a corpse outside that tower, that has a ring on his finger, probably representing the Witch King, who was the first of the 9 to actually die. A cool easter egg.

0:40 9 rolls in in 12 sec. Man can't walk straight, have to do an exhausting roll every 5 steps. I haven't playing Witcher because I hate the rolling so much. Not only do you roll "to dodge" (how about just making a side step ?) but now I see this. Rolling on a Nintendo game to dodge is okay, it looks stupid here. #UnpopularOpinon
Witcher 3 on my PC looks incredible, especially with Reshade installed. Beat the game back in 2015, and playing it now looks like a totally new and updated game damn near if all the story and mechanics weren't the same.

There's another way to get inside the tower.
The edge of the map is very close so you just wander too far out and with some luck, you'll get teleported right on the roof.

by using aard u power up 2 crystals which opens a portal as a way out, also I think u can kill wraiths with frozen aard
