It was absolutely wild when he was basically coding it live to make sure it was stable enough to play in the sessions Poohbear replaced Fir. He's done this basically solo.

16:05 The editing of the boss music onto changing player's perspectives was so great
The use of music in this video is amazing, but the Star Dream section is unparalleled.
7:15 - Song starts slow, building tension.
7:23 - Ant says he's going to check the best hiding spot.
7:26 - The piano jump to a jarring high-key, reflecting CJ's alertness as he considers Ant might know where he is.
"Which spot might that be?"
"It's the spot you're in CJ."
7:34 - THE MUSIC HITS FULL FORCE; CJ IS ON THE RUN! Star Dream's theme kicks in and doesn't let up for the rest of the chase.
This moment was great by itself, but was made way better by the Kirby music. Between the grand chase, Crafty seeing all and Fir hiding in the same spot twice, this has been my favourite hiding segment so far.

What I've learned from this is that Fir is just really overpowered in Mushroom Kingdom specifically. Fun stuff
Randomly selecting the kingdom was probably my favorte addition you all made in game rather than it being code based, it makes things more challenging
Honestly? This is the most impressive mod i have ever seen. The mod devs are getting SO good latley!
I have a suggestion, maybe make the game treat the hide and seek minigame like an actual minigame (Like you have the time on the buttom right like in koopa freerunning,...)

In an earlier one I remember CJ selling Crafty out even though they were both hiding, so it was funny to see Crafty (accidentally) return the favor in Mushroom Kingdom.
I love how when he says what his timers at, both him and the video mark say 14:20
"I was inside of him"
This sentence appeared too many times.
CJ's screams are the only reasons I need to watch these.
Fantastic editing by the way, the commentary and editing is clean, sometimes a little fast paced, but easy to follow. Love it all
Can't give you a like cause you got 69 :) But I was about to say it too. I found this channel through the whole hide and seek thingy they have going on and besides the fact that I love this thingy I do love the editing style too. With these commentary parts in it it's mich more slow paced than the videos of the other guys and I like the way he comments. Also overall he looks like a cool dude. Might watch more from Fir_ :D

These are my favorite videos right now, I had no idea who any of these guys were like a week ago, but through watching a bit of SmallAnts channel I found these guys and this multiplayer mod is too much fun to watch.
I wonder if there's an easy way to give people points for actually tagging people, so finding the two other hiding people in a round gives incentive to those caught first
there's already a huge incentive (if you don't tag the other people as fast as possible, their time is raising while your isn't) so I don't think that would be necessary
@@Robbie-qh3ni Yeah the game kind of balances itself out, it’s simple to understand and it works very well.
CJ sounds like Tom from Tom and Jerry when he gets chased and screams.

I like how in Cascade you didn't even touch Smant and he still died

Watching this a year (plus) later, it's amazing how far they have progressed. But I also love seeing the advent of "3 minutes, first hint, 6 second, etc." Still the best videos on youtube.
I just realized that smallant's timer would have been in the 19-20 min range if he turned on the timer at the same time as cjay.

i watched this live and honestly, i could watch an endless stream of SMO multi. This is by far the best thing to happen to this game and has given a whole new motivation to get good at it
14:41 the kingdom wheel doesn't have cloud or darker side on it, even though those are the two kingdoms that seem like they'd be the most gimmicky to hide in, and I want to see them

The everyone wears the invisibility cap, you can't see someone approaching, you have to listen for them. Feels like it can be an interesting round if it doesn't take 35+ minutes

im 9 days late but oddysy is instanced meaning that if ur in it ur in ur own world effectivly so they cant hide there since it would be litterally impossible for anyone to get to

@@Crackhog i think crafty said it on the 1st hide and seek stream but also i think not 100% on this weve seen cj and smant in the oddysy and not show up to each other granted i could be misremembering on both of these things but from a programming perspective tieing the odyssy to the player just makes sense if u want it to be in 2 places at once
