- Me @Smallant @cjya @GrandPOOBear @CraftyBoss925 and @AmethystSZS played a modified version of the Mario Odyssey Online Multiplayer mod where we completely deleted Cappy! This means No Captures, no hats, no anything! We played through 6 rounds of hide n seek to determine a winner, I hope you enjoy!

It would be fun to see you guys do "sardines" style hide n seek. Where only one person hides and everyone that finds them joins in their spot until everyone finds the spot.
Did that a ton as a kid and it's a blast! Coming up with good spots is tricky cuz it needs to be well hidden but big enough to accommodate multiple hiders

This gave me a horrible idea for a challenge run: MinCappy. It’s like Mincaps, but instead of minimizing the number of captures, you minimize the number of cap throws, placing a tax on trick jumps.
Cyja did a speed running vid with GrandPooBear and I think Cyja beat the entire game with only 13 captures
@@Infinite_exhilaration Yeah that's min caps, that's what they said it wasn't. I think the challenge of beating Odyssey while throwing Cappy the absolute minimum number of times has also been done though.

Great stuff! Editing was superb.
1) I think the "Gain bonus time if you tag someone" is a good way to still be invested to the end. You can do two modes; a) just add like 1 minute to your timer; b) chaos mode, where you actually steal time from the person you caught, like 25% of their time or something.
2) I think you could reduce the kingdom randomness for scores by doing different rounds with different subsets of the kingdoms. Larger Rounds vs Smaller Rounds. Large: Metro, Sand, Wooded (with or without Deep Woods?), Bowser's Kingdom, maybe Luncheon and Seaside? Smaller: Everything else?
25% is too much though
I don't really like the idea of stealing time personally, but adding a minute and a half (or even two minutes) to the seeker's timer for getting a hider sounds like a great idea!

@@1Adamrpg No, it still does make the idea bad actually. The people who are chosen as seekers first will barely have any time to steal, while later seekers have a lot to gain.

I have an idea for a hiding tactic. If you are the N64 skin, and you hang off the edge, your fingers dont go over the ledge so if you hypothetically hung somewhere no one would see you if they didn’t manually look over the edge

There would've been two usable platformas: The one by the Odyssey and the one from Moonrock to the nutjump-wire, so it would have been a 1-Minute-Round

I do like the idea of seekers getting a time bonus for finding someone.
I like how they didn't realize they could still go inside the Odyssey (which is why the seekers went into the shop/sat outside). You can ground pound through the roof or use the tailpipe as a pipe.

Love watching this as everyone is always frantically looking for the best spot or running for their lives as they are hunted down. Good video sir Fir.
Would love to see a hide n seek tag where you spend like idk 10-15 minutes total per world ya do, but do one seeker, and when the seeker finds someone, they become a hider and the found person become the new seeker. No tagging who just got you back. Whoever accumulates the highest time hiding, wins. To make it fair for the seeker at the beginning of each round, shorten the time for the hiders to run away and hide.
buying a life-up heart from the shop in Luncheon was absolutely genius and i'm glad it actually paid off for some extra seconds.

His tag is actually spelled without the H (GrandPOOBear) so "Poo" is more accurate than "Pooh" (despite Winnie the Pooh being the obvious inspiration).
Suggestion: play multiplayer, but something other than hide and seek, because there's so many possibilities

They couldn't make it that day I suppose. Crafty and Smallant are always present. Fir is nearly always present, CJ and Poo are there a lot too. Nicro and Amethyst often too and Alpharad seemed to be a 1 time thing. Lycel doesn't join very often but it's always fun when she does, she recently posted a new video, you should watch it.
