hes amazing, theres not many drummer that can keep a grove as good as him, but he also helps produce mayers stuff, and he also plays bass etc, hes really talented :]
Incredible how Robbie McIntosh makes that guitar sound like a pedal steel. What are those button type things on the bridge? So cool. McIntosh's playing with Mayer is awesome. Mayer has awesome chops but McIntosh is playing the most interesting subtle stuff in some of the videos I've watched tonight.
@thejakeedwards12 That happens a lot when you play with great musicians, and even more when you play with people who have groove inside, yes, mostly black people, I have to admit. He has a good taste when it comes to choosing his musicians.
@CMSpida...Jordan is good, don't get me wrong...but you need to check out J J's drumming past and present. The man is unbeleivably good. He's a much better live drummer than Jordan. His groove and feeling are deeper and more thought out. He's the real deal man. Trust me, I thought Jordan was kingpin for a good couple of years until I really switched on a found out what J J was all about. Now I can't listen to Jordan without thinking "I'd love to hear J J doing that...he'd do it better".
steve jordan understands music.
he know where in the mix to be.
Steve is insane. I love him!
Beautiful jazz guitar solo in the outro.
That drumset with that drummer is pure groove!
Real authentic musicians like JM😍👍😍- sadly a dying breed😩

@gfmgma thanks man i feel in love with it!
This double chorus effect... is sooooo John Scofield.. vislumbrating a little influence there!
also... very smooth, suave jam
JJ always gets my vote. Always did a better job live. Irreplaceable.
You gotta love steve jordans playing!
@Msnurseoz Ooh, Jeff Porcaro. Worked with Steely Dan in the 70s. Great drummer.
@stockmarket101 It's not a snare, it's a Yamaha Subkick microphone ;) lol
@jorgeibarrah Duesenberg is the name you're looking for...it's made in germany if i'm not wrong
@bcrichnjseries yes, its always like that..like in "Where the light is in L.A."
@thejakeedwards12 That happens a lot when you play with great musicians, and even more when you play with people who have groove inside, yes, mostly black people, I have to admit. He has a good taste when it comes to choosing his musicians.
no applause for his solo. half the people in the audience are thinking: I could do that
@Sonny208208 LOOL. are you insane.. Mayer is privileged to play with Jordan. Who do you think produced Continuum and Battle Studies?
@vybuot clean and the solo is tube screamer
does anyone know the modern or recent equivalent of his guitar? i know it's a 70's ibanez l 5 2460 or something.
@JamonjiCahillibongo totally agree.
@hale2100 I'm pretty damn shure he asked them to sing what they're singing.
what guitar is robbie using? the black one with the D
now that's what I call drumming
that is one big ass hi hat!!!!
What's his effect on the guitar at the end?

I so agree!
Just his voice isn't functioning very well in this concert.
Still, AMAZING band!!!!!!
They'll go far...
@Sonny208208 wait... what? and your not overrating someone else in that statement? not to hate or nothing
somehow this song reminds me of little wing
@Msnurseoz well steve jordan is one of the best
John Mayer concerts:
70% female
22% males being dragged by female partners
8% guitar geeks
@JamonjiCahillibongo are you crazy. Steve is fucking insane
@mercer0487
I beg to differ, good sir.
@bootypicture i sure no one of them can do it like this.
@thejakeedwards12
i dislike your ''not feeling'' the groove around 2:23....
Alot better than Beacon. But the keys are still to thin. Feels as if there is something missing in the sound!!
@bramzel95 hahah obviously
@pbmusic100 Gibson L5
@teamsleepnine two 16" crashes, i think... haha
@Ben80997
i hope that's sarcastic....
Yeah. Bring back the bitch whistle :P (Live in LA Reference)
@stockmarket101 .... Its a sub kick haha... Who the fuck puts a snare on a kick drum?
@thejakeedwards12 umm. nope. they didn't.
Jordan's Bass drum that is about 3 miles long.
@Elfraddor
lolz
@mercer0487 You're entitled to your opinion, but you're still wrong.
Anyone else who thinks the piano guy fucked up the beginning of john's singing at 1:37?
Somehow not as good as in Where The Light Is...
4:25 - 8:25 earsex
John mayer has changed, he magic is gone. He just makes the job. So Borring !
I hate the backup singers with a passion. Annoying as hell. Just let the man sing.
i can't listen to this song when these ridiculously bad backup singers are ruining the whole song -.-
