I love the smell of jasmine and gardenia so I planted a couple of small gardenias but does jasmine grow well here too? Hope you both will have an awesome week!!
Debra, our jasmines got hit with mealy bugs last year that almost killed them, but once we figured out what chemical to use to kill them they came back to life big time. Our yard has smelled so good this year.
We just got back, two days ago, from Austin. Our youngest just got married in Zilker Park. It was so hot and Yumid we longed to get back to a Florida summer so we could dry out. LOL We thought about Sun City, in Georgetown Texas, 'cause we could stay in the same church with same friends. But one week here in TV and we were sold too. Even though we RV around exploring our new home state, we still love coming back home. Tonight we'll golf cart caravan with friends to Brownwood to hear Relic - relatively new band in TV that really rocks. Next Saturday the Bonifay CC is having a Caribbean evening with Caribbean food, drink and music from 5-9PM - another caravan with friends. You will love it here - we're excited for you. :)

I am on Southern Villages Fun girls site. They all look like they are having a fun time. I haven't been to Edna's yet. Is one day better than another. Should we bring our own chairs?
We believe they have music everyday, so any days a good day to go. Weekends can be really crowded, but we've always managed to find a spot if we bring our own chairs.
We moved to a new neighborhood and everyone was looking to make friends at the same time. It made it really easy on us. We'd highly recommend that. We don't feel that being single or older would have any negative impact on you in that regard. Then you could join the various "Singles Groups" for their events. And then there's groups like "The Southern Villages Fun Girls" that's made up of all kinds of women looking for connections. Get yourself a big calendar. You're gonna be busy!
