If anyone runs in the issue where they aren't able to place the text between the 2 layers of video, you need to first enable "Free Layer". To do that make sure that all elements in your timeline are NOT selected. There should be an option in the "Details" section in the top right of your Capcut dashboard and in that it will say "Modify". You need to turn on "Free Layer" then save it and it'll work.
One little problem remains though ...I have curly hair and on some parts there is still the original color of the background that can be seen thorugh the hair. Depending on what new background I use (especially with one color background , it is noticable. Anyone an idea ? Thanks a lot !
My hair is dark... In the intro to this video I used a white background... I feel like contrasting the background usually helps the AI to do a better job with the rotoscoping.
Yeah, I ran into the free layer issue was about to give up and then senior pinned comment. Thanks so much for this helpful tip. I have been trying to figure out how to do this for so long.
What a video! Thank you so much! I was following you along in CapCut, doing my own recreation, and everything you explained works. I just created my YT channel so I will definitely use all these tips.
Great video! Thank you. Question: I don't have the Pro version (yet), but when I removed the background, there were little flickers of the chair I was sitting in. Is there a way to make sure the background removal takes that away too?
Thank you for watching! The flickers can happen sometimes, especially with certain backgrounds. typically I try to use contrasting colors between my shirt and the background or in your case the chair and your background/or you to help the AI do a better job. This has happened to me and I played around with zooming and reframing and this hid the chair.
I have quite a few, in this video I did the opener using the Rode Wireless Go 2, my main mic at my desk is a rode NTB shotgun mic, and I usually recommend the DJI Mic 2 which I also own. Thanks for watching!
Hi, thanks for your video. I have a question, I can see that the contour around your image is very sharp, in my case is not the same.. its blurry and it doesn't look realistic, there are parts that are missing. how do I fix this? is there a tool to make this sharp enough?
Make sure there’s some contrast between you and the background… in the intro of this video I had white in the background purposely to help with this… CapCut does a really good job usually but occasionally you will see some of that.
Beautiful video, could I ask you something though? When I remove the background, the pic I use spills over my figure, like your example of the backpack but on a bigger scale, I tried to even custom edit but aside being time consuming, it doesn’t really work. I am a pro user, but I am not able to make this work as easy as you did. In my videos I move a bit more than you, but the result is really horrible, even in parts where I move just a tiny bit. Any suggestions please? Thanks 🙂
Make sure there is some contracts between the color of your clothing and the background. In the intro I shot with white closet doors behind me to make sure it would be able to properly separate me from the background.
@@realestateagentdevelopment Thanks, I actually wore a dark blue jumper and the background was plain beige (the wall), but clearly didn't work. I thought maybe lighting up more the wall, but your closet example it's not bright either. So I don't know what I am doing wrong, so frustrating.
Great video, I have CapCut pro, and I was sure I seen something about removing the background for either animals , people or can’t remember what the other one was, now I can’t find that anywhere, I know how to remove the background from most photos and videos, but, sometimes when it’s a dog or cat or ? It didn’t seem to always work, then I read this about the options, but, I can’t find where I seen that, any idea ? Thanks
I personally don’t recall ever seeing an animal background removal… that being said. CapCut is always changing and improving. I’ve had features get removed and brought back on mine a few times.
Do you have some tips about how to do this if you have curly hair? I would like to swap out the background, but unfortunately, every slight move of my head leads to a weird cutout situation where either half of the hair is missing or half of the background is still visible...
Have you tried to contracts your hair with the background? If you have dark hair use a white wall behind you? If that doesn’t work you may have to move over to Adobe After effects and use their roto scope tool because they have options to help with curly hair.
Make sure there’s some contracts between you and your background so if you’re wearing a dark shirt make sure your background is light… this will definitely help.
Auto background removal is now for Pro users only. We free users only get the option of Eraser. Can you please show us how to remove video background using this Eraser function? Thank you.
@@realestateagentdevelopment there is a green screen behind and hair is black - clean up edge turns green to black, increasing intensity removes colours from face, lighting is supremely high. is it the case that for such precision we will need adobe cc or the alike?
why is every time I watch a YT video they have features that don't show up on my Capcut pro? On this occasion I don't have remove background tab. I have even reinstalled hoping that was the issue. Capcut has no support any longer
I’m finding out that some of the features are regional… specifically I’ve noticed many of my Australian viewers have said their version does not have all of the functionality yet.
One thing I've found with auto removal is that it is useful for removing just the subject(s). The magic brush is better if you want to keep things such as a desk or a table.
I mean awesome video. Sooo helpful. Can’t thank you enough. Just a bit confused about why an experienced realtor is teaching video editing. Hahaha (supposed to be funny) 😂

You have to make sure there’s some contrast between the background color and your hair color.

Same here. No remove background tab either.

Do you have contrast between you and the background? Eg. dark background white shirt or vice versa.
Is it a free version of Capcut
