Younger Geezer Trev, as CapCut keeps adding stuff, it makes makes it more and more attractive to use for quick "basic" video editing than using my DaVinci Resolve 19.1 (which is outstanding, of course) does. Cheers, Older Geezer in Jacksonville, Florida.
Trevor (and everyone out there...) I LOVE your videos and they seem to be the BEST for learning CapCut! But there's two things I haven't been able to find (AND I REFUSE to believe they are impossible to do...) 1 - Ripple Delete. On other editors I would just select and In Point, an Out point and Command Delete and it would delete EVERYTHING between the points. Meaning all the stuff in ALL the tracks and the space. On CapCut I can only do that by typing Q if there's only one track being edited... if there's more than one, no dice. Am I doing this wrong? 2 - Sometimes I have a second or third shot of maybe a Screen or a different angle and they are also chopped down and I need to choose all of them to paste attributes or move them to the left or right. Normally I would just double click on the track itself (on the left) and it would select EVERYTHING on the track. On CapCut that doesn't happen... is there a way to do it (other than having to select all of them with my mouse?) 2, B - I can't seem to be able to paste attributes to ALL my cuts, just the one at a time... Any suggestions? THANK YOU!!!!
Noob CapCut user here. Just three days ago I was searching how to do multicam editing. Found a bunch of painful looking tutorials compared to what is available on Davinci Resolve and others. But then voila playing around in CapCut I found I could do it easily. Now I realize from your video I just discovered a new feature which is not yet well documented or discoverable. Cool stuff!!

Another excellent video! One question: Do you know how to Copy/Paste attributes on the Mac desktop version? When I Control-Click on a clip, it brings up a menu with lots of options, but only the basic Copy and Paste (for the entire clip.) I've been looking on reddit and elsewhere, even tried CapCut customer service with no luck. Does this feature not exist in the Mac version? Thank you!
Another great tutorial ! I have 2 granddaughters also . I appreciate your downloadable clips and photos , but they are in Mac and I i am struggling to get my Windows machine to work with Mac downloads . Any suggestions on what I am doing wrong ?

Thank goodness your video popped up on my feed. I wonder if that works on fireworks leaving on only the sound of fireworks . Husband has a great video and he liked to publish it but it has lot of copyright music so was wondering what to do with it ? Was thinking about cutting it into shorts and adding same music in it from TH-cam shorts app to avoid any problems . The fireworks shows are great here in Japan done to perfection with matching music. He really really wants to publish it (has been repeatedly asking about copyright issues on TH-cam)but don’t want make a channel for himself ,so was thinking about making it for him as present on my channel, all the attributes going to him .

Hahah Stella! I take no credit for that, my editors added that and I was really happy with it! I just don’t have time to edit anymore. Although I’m hitting TikTok now and doing a little bit of editing there and I’m using CapCut instead of Premiere, which is kind of wild cause I’m a premiere guy!
The best CapCut tutorials which are really useful now I’ve dumped Final Cut due to it taking forever to do things which are quick in CC. That multi cam is great.

Copy and paste attributes is something I've gotten used to in Vyond. That IS gold. Dude, can you separate two people talking in the sound separation function? I could use that in my podcasts also. (I usually use three Samsung Ultras with double clip on mics. So, each camera phone pics up both speakers).
Ooh? I may be? But usually the issue is all features aren’t available in all countries. It’s usually a regional thing. Are you in the USA on the desktop version of CapCut? The features are also different if you compare the desktop version to the online and the mobile version.
They really need to add tilting videos. lets say when we want to appy it to some greenscreen (lets say a tv with an angle) its so annoying to tilt the video on other programs and load it to capcut again.
This is good, but why would people use this on the desktop? Even when it comes to ease of use on top of advanced features, there are better alternatives, such a Filmora. The multi-cam setup stuff is surprisingly advanced though. I haven't yet had a reason to test such a feature so maybe it's really well done. 6:30 is genuinely pretty cool and I'm not sure if Filmora does this.
